Our stay was fantastic, we were planning the day we arrived to drop our things and visit Sykamia beach, I am a person who once plans something I need to have a very good reason to change my mind and it not to ruin my day. Once we arrived, dropped our bags the view, serenity, calmness of the place sucked us in and we stayed whole afternoon by the pool, will say again, amazing. We really enjoyed the stay, place is beautiful, and breakfast, thanks for that, omelette from your own chickens eggs, lovely. One note, at first we put the name of a place to Waze which led us close but like 300 vertical meters below, so would recommend google.maps works great, however, at first we came by eastern route, which is more rougher dirt road than the one close from north and port, so that one is better. Anyhow, thanks a lot gents it was once again will say it fantastic.

Everything was really perfect!!! Astonishing view, super clean and cosy room with attention to every little detail. The atmosphere and aesthetics of the place were amazing. The food , the drinks, the music… everything. The staff and the hosts were just one of a kind!!! We had the best time ever. Thank you!!!
Even if you don’t stay there you can still go for a drink by the pool and enjoy the beautiful sunset or have dinner at the restaurant and enjoy the view. You will not find anything like this anywhere else on the island.

Hotel rooms had all the facilities we were looking for, plenty of space, good kitchenette, great shower etc. The location was quiet but close to the taverna, beach and ice cream shop. There were plenty of tables and chairs and sun loungers around the pool that you could use for shade, sunbathing, cocktails etc and the gardens were in full bloom. Lots of care has been taken over the indoor and outdoor space.

The location of the hotel is super! Nearby, you can find S/M, café, taverns, bakery, rental cars, and ferry tickets.
The breakfast was excellent, and I liked that each day we had different marmalades and pies, etc.
The staff is cheerful and helpful and above all very polite! Every day, the ladies clean the room, and we have clean towels.
For sure we will come back again!

Although not the typical white-washed cycladic village, it is still a comfortable ferry port that turns into a pedestrian area once the last ferry is gone or parked for the night, giving the opportunity to families with small kids to enjoy the stroll. It is packed with cafeterias, cozy restaurants, music bars. It also has some nice shops, a pharmacy, travel agencies etc.

A Charming village for having quiet holidays , there are a few restaurants with good food and friendly people :) there are several good beaches in Kea but you need a car to visit them , quiet , small beaches with great food and crystal clear water :)

Early september was great to stay a week!
Early september was great to stay a week! It wasn't busy since it was off-season and the 2, Otzias Kouzina and Taverna of Anna, are excellent places to eat and should be easily walkable from any of the places to stay in the area.
Near the center and right side of the beach looking out to sea there is more sand and less stone so is better to swim at.

We spent a week here with friends and it was absolutely perfect. The view from the infinity pool is incredible - watching the sunset over the Aegean Sea was unforgettable.
The villa has everything you could want - spacious bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, and amazing outdoor spaces. The host was exceptional, really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.
Every detail is perfectly thought out, from the luxury furnishings to the pool bar. The location in Koundouros is ideal - peaceful but close to beautiful beaches.
This was more than just accommodation, it was a real experience. We're already planning to come back!

A cosy family run hotel overlooking the beach and the port - we had a corner room with a balcony offering both views. A very good bed and mattress which we enjoyed after a whole day travelling and gave us a good night’s sleep! Breakfast was healthy and good with enough choice. The staff were friendly even at the end of the season - we were the last guests to leave and the hotel was closing down for the winter!

We were staying a few twisty miles from the main town which is a very interesting place on a steep hill and with almost no traffic - the streets and alley ways are just too narrow. Although we were there at the end of the season there were still a few good restaurants open

It lacks character and a town centre with no shops and only one restaurant ,though there is plenty to do with transport with plenty of beaches in the area, as well as hikes- one leading to an ancient settlement behind a good beach.

Very quiet and not a lot to do but very peaceful and restful. Lots of walking trails but not easy to access. Local buses very infrequent. Lovely place for a quiet rest. Local people very nice and friendly.

A highly interesting and atmospheric town with at least 2 good restaurants. It is set on a steep hillside and a good deal of strenuous walking is included in a stay-walking is the only way to get around. The 2500 years old stone lion on the edge of town is worth the effort to get to it. If we went again we would choose to go a bit more in season when more shops and restaurants are open.
