Location was so peaceful and beautiful. Everything was basicly new. A stunning pool and just a few steps to the beach restaurant. Their little staff unit was absolutely great. An exceptional experience - and we’ve seen a lot of places.

Top notch! Fabulous setting up in the hills overlooking the port. Modern and spacious and well appointed. We have been travelling for 8 weeks in Greece and this is now our favourite apartment. Feels like home! A minute walk to wee shop and couple of restaurants of Spartochori village. Lovely!

Our stay at Vila Elva made our holiday in Meganisi unforgettable… 10/10!!!
We were welcomed by the lovely owners, Maria and Vasili, who have been available during our entire stay for any question and need we had.
The house is located on the first and second floor of the villa. The owners live on the ground floor, but the house has its own entrance so there is a lot of privacy.
The first floor is equipped with a kitchen, living room with amazing garden and sea view with balcony, one bedroom and bathroom. The second floor is equipped with two bedrooms and one bathroom.
The house is properly equipped with all the necessities - also a good coffee espresso machine with capsules, so that you can drink your coffee before or after your morning swim ;) In fact, you can reach the sea walking 1 minute through the garden, and immerse yourself in blue crystalline waters anytime you want. This is PRICELESS!
They made us feel at home all the time and we will definitely come back next year! Ciao Maria & Vasili see you soon

A lot of thought and effort has been put into making Villa Nefeli and top place to stay in Meganisi. The location is great - very near the port and with a lovely view, especially from the bedroom. Tasos goes out of his way to make sure your stay is comfortable. All the facilities work well and look nice - we can thoroughly recommend.

Our stay was just amazing and the best we had! The owner Fay is so lovely! She picked us up from the ferry, drove us to the beach and back to the ferry. Everything in the room is made with love. The appartement is georgios with it's own terrace and an amazing view. The aminities Fay is providing are amazing.. as a welcome you get a real nice bottle of white wine and Chips in the room. The toileteries are top...there is even Mizella Water!! The breakfast is outstanding...omlettes, pastries, waffels, ham, cheese, greek joghurt, fruits...... The building is a beautiful stone house with a great pool and it is a short and easy 5 min walk form the towncentre. I cannot rave enough about Fay and her lovely place!

The location for us was ideal even though we initially didn't have a car. As we've been to the island numerous times over the last 20yrs we knew exactly where the property was as we had seen it from afar when using ellia beach.
the property is beautifully situated in a little cove. walking distance about 15-20 mins into kotamara village.
Zena the lady whom looked after the property was lovely. The host was fantastic in arranging transfers for us too.
Fantasic Tranquil location with a lovely cove to swim in . Thank you for having us we will definitely love to stay again.

The place is extremely cute and at a very good location. Kiria Eleftheria is really friendly and accommodating. She brings you breakfast in the room every day! It's like staying at your grandmother's house! The apartments are really big, and there is even a BBQ on the property.

If you want to explore traditional Greek villages, then visit Meganisi. A rental car is essential as the villages are separated by kms of winding and steep roads. Two way roads become very narrow laneways between houses and some are one way so need to be careful negotiating bends. We visited Meganisi late in the season and many restaurants and accommodations were closed. Vathi still had some good restaurants operating but most will close by the end of October. A great island.

Meganissi is one of my favourite Greek islands with just three villages and easy access to some beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Sadly since I first visited a few years ago it has been over developed - especially around Vathy. It risks being spoilt through too much tourism.
If you're planning a longer trip, look beyond Meganisi and set off to explore the whole country!
