We absolutely loved our stay here. The place is like a resort with pool, spa and other facilities. In case you don’t rent a car, don’t worry, there is a bus stop which has a name of the property itself “hotel naxos palace” - everybody in Naxos knows about this hotel. The stuffs were friendly and responsive. The room was big, comfortable and clean. Our room was cleaned properly everyday during our stay and new towels were given in every 2 days.

Everything. We were very happy during our stay. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the professionalism and the hospitality of the staff. The staff have been amazing. The rooms were very clean and had a very nice design. The location also is very good, just a few minutes walk from the beach and close to everything (shops, pharmacie, restaurants, car rental). We would definetly. come back if we come back to Naxos again.

Great experience, excellent staff and facilities. A large pool, with an excellent pool bar and snacks. The beach is directly in front of the hotel where you could secure sunbeds easily and order a cold coffee and have it delivered. Bus stops right out the front with frequent services to Chora with many stops on the way. Mini Market underneath the pool area open until late. Great dining options walking distance. Much less crowded than other parts of Naxos.

The food at the restaurant was delicious. It was great to sit by the pool for breakfast and dinner. It was a short 15 minute walk to the beach and shops. Loukas was extremely helpful with organizing a rental car so we could maximize our enjoyment of the island for the one full day we were there.

Staff were so lovely and helpful, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The restaurant served a great breakfast with a wide selection, and had a nice dinner menu. Location is good with an hourly minibus bringing us to the beach and good public transport options for visiting Chora (the main town). The views from our room balcony and the restaurant were magnificent!

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. We had the best room, on the top floor overlooking both the swimming pool and Agios Georges beach. The breakfast was next level, with a variety of top-quality food. The coffee machines were state of the art. The big swimming was great, with a jacuzzi on the one side and children's pool on the other side. There was ample sunbeds and umbrellas around the swimming pool. The lunch menu variety and prices were fantastic, had a Chicken Cobb salad that was delicious. If you wanted to go to the beach, which is less than 80 meters from the hotel, guests were charged Euro 15 for sunbeds and an umbrella. The old town is literally around the corner from the hotel, and 1.3km from the Port / Ferry. There are many restaurants near the hotel. Although we did not hire a car, there is free parking available at the hotel. There was a big lift if one wanted to make use of it. The room was spacious, and we had a big balcony. The room had a refrigerator and Nespresso coffee machine. One even had a drying rack on the balcony, and a big cupboard and safe in the room.

Excellent stay and even better hospitality. Definitely will be back!

Everything! The location was great, less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. Breakfast was amazing, being able to try traditional Greek breakfast food was wonderful.

We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Sphinx and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely caring, but a special mention has to go to Catherine on reception. Her kindness and attention to detail made our trip truly special. During our stay, it happened to be my birthday, and Catherine arranged a complimentary room upgrade, which was such a lovely surprise. As if that wasn’t enough, she also bought us a beautiful large birthday cake from the bakery down the street. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that completely exceeded our expectations and made the day one we’ll never forget. The hotel itself is spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located, making it easy to enjoy everything Naxos has to offer. What really sets Hotel Sphinx apart, though, is the warmth and generosity of the people who work there. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality. Thank you to Catherine and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and will definitely be back on our next visit to Naxos. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perfect location right on the beach, beautiful views from the balcony. All staff were very helpful, friendly and always giving us great recommendations of places to visit.

The hotel was spotless. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The location was fantastic 10 mins downhill to the town and beach very peaceful at night. Would highly recommend this hotel, and if we return to Naxos, it will be our first choice.

Right on the beach, only 2 minute walk to restaurants and shops. Can have breakfast overlooking the sea. Amazing spa services. Had a fabulous facial and massage. Only 5 minutes to port and airport. Buses available

A wonderful hotel! The owner, George, and all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. On our last day, even though we missed breakfast hours, they generously prepared and served us two full plates — such thoughtful hospitality! The location is perfect, just a short walk from both the beach and the town center. It’s especially ideal for those not planning to rent a car. They kindly upgraded our room free of charge and gave us the best one available. The view from our terrace, the balcony, the interior design, and the cleanliness — everything was just perfect. The location is excellent just a few paces away from a beautiful beach and tavernas. The hotel is stylish and the rooms are lovely. We had a fabulous terrace with cushioned seating areas and sun loungers. The breakfast is excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade pastries, quiche etc as well as yogurt, fruit, eggs etc.

Charming hotel walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Bus stop a minute away. Very clean and comfortable, a big bed and spacious room, nice balcony with a good view. Breakfast was quite nice. Staff is polite and helpful, Stella from reception was very kind and professional. Recommended!
