From the moment we arrived Eleni, General Manager, and Staff made us feel at home. Eleni is a dedicated manager who will do anything to please her guests. She is warm and caring, while being professional and extremely efficient. Sophia and Debbie complemented Eleni, and were always responsive or our needs. Our room was clean, roomy, and airy. Our porch had the best view. The kitchen put out authentic well balanced food. The pool and bar area were beautiful and well maintained. Eleni communicated with us, and her responses were always quick and efficient. While I was ill the chef made me greek chicken soup for 4 days at Eleni's instruction. Socrates, Petra, Vasillis, and Max were excellent service people always assuring your every need was satisfied. Housekeeping was consistent and top notch. Akre Hotel is a Zen like Hotel, - quiet and relaxing for couples who want privacy and relaxation.

When Naxos is considered a treasure, Sundunes is truly a diamant in the rough. From the heartfelt welcoming to the serene beautiful design and Eye for detail en guest hospitality. The small buildings and great rooms oversee sea and the stunning surroundings. The centre pool area feels like a safe haven in a fast moving world. Check out also the path to the ‘secret’ private beach. Overall, service, cleaning and wining & dining were superb. From breakfast with fresh products and good coffee in the morning to drinks in the evening. We felt very welcome and at home from beginning to the end of our stay. Many thanks to general manager Nassos and his staff for their service and superb hospitality!

Words can hardly describe the wonderful experience we had. I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to support this fantastic place. From the bar staff to the food service and the beach staff, everyone was incredibly friendly. This is the most well-rounded hotel I've ever visited. The decor is beautiful, a perfect blend of boho chic with local elements that respect the natural landscape. The food was incredible, from breakfast to dinner, and it's a huge plus that breakfast is served until 11:00 AM. The cocktails were unique and delicious, accompanied by great beach lounge beats that added to the Tulum vibe. The beach itself is stunning, with soft sand and crystal-clear, calm waters. The hotel's beach setup is a true gem, and the beach staff were attentive and wonderful. Yiannes did a fantastic job managing the beach area and was always lovely. A big shout-out to Sam for welcoming us and accommodating us beyond our expectations. The attention to detail was remarkable—we never had to worry about cleaning, as they always took care of it when we were out, allowing us to return to a relaxing atmosphere after a day at the beach. Sam remembered our orders in the morning, and Vessilis and Erikos constantly reminded us to relax. Special thanks to the entire staff for helping to set up the perfect beach proposal. We could go on about all the good things, but there are just too many to list. This place is special to us now, and we will definitely be coming back.

We were running late to this hotel and the male reception was lovely and gave us a drink to settle in He showed us around the apartment and gave us local map where to visit We did encounter air conditioning question to which the reception came right away knocking on our door to solve the problem. So any issues they would happily deal with the matter to keep customers happy This place offers daily breakfast with local bread, milk, eggs in a cute basket daily, delivered to your door in a basket! really enjoyed the jam, very fresh! The place is also clean with all the basic cooking items you need to cook apartment was clean and big room cleaning service was also provided Area also great 20 minutes walk to Naxos port however do bear in mind when you are walking there with the luggage with slight up hill to the apartment. Going down hill was easy with the luggage. Bus transfers to Naxo villages are based within the port and to purchase bus tickets in the shop before you get on Halki village etc around 40min bus journey or music easier to rent a car 5 minutes to local fresh fruit and veg. store here 5 minutes walk to local super market and lots of others along the way down into the port. It's great! 10/10 Note: some of the air conditioning can only be turned on if one of the patio windows are opened a jarred. Would stay again next time!

My stay at Lianos Village was absolutely amazing. Everything exceeded my expectations — the hotel is beautiful, peaceful and very well taken care of. Welcoming host that took the time to explain to us the island and her recommendations. We felt welcome and at home. The balcony for our room was very large and perfect for a drink with the sunset view. Nice pool and breakfast. Since you will mostly have a car with you on Naxos island to visit, it's located around 8-10 minutes from the port.

It was the second time i visited. I think Irini ia the best for me. Perfect location, cleaning service everyday, good value of money and kind staff.

Agios Prokopilis has the most beautiful beach with sunshades...

Agios Prokopilis has the most beautiful beach with sunshades and sunloungers and cafes & restaurants. There are places to sit too any of these but it is very busy. The restaurants are mostly the same catering to the tourists and not particularly authentic but you can eat well. The bus serves Naxos town and the rest of the island

Public transport to and from Naxos town is very regular (every 30 mins). Beautiful sandy beaches with crystal clear waters. So many excellent restaurants you are spoilt for choice, many with tables on the beach. Agia Anna is idyllic.

I stayed at the far end of Plaka Beach away from the crowds, which suited me. It’s a beautiful sandy beach, with hardly any people.You can walk all the way to Naxos Chora along the beach, about 10 kilometres.

Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for accomodation and walking distance to a lovely beach if the north wind is not blowing. Only two restaurant options to walk to at night but it has easy access to hill towns and beaches to the south by car. It's out of the hectic vibes of Naxos Town and very quiet at night so a good night sleep is ensured!

Mikri Vigla is a quiet town with a couple bakeries and restaurants. Beautiful sunsets and beaches, but you should have a car / moped to get around. The bus from Naxos Chora is infrequent and drops off at the beach, not the town proper.

We liked the premises and quiet sandy beach. There is free parking on premise and some very good restaurants nearby. Make sure that when you get the sea view room, you ask for the direct and not the side views room.

Quiet beach with three Tavernas withing walking distance...

Quiet beach with three Tavernas withing walking distance plus some smaller food service locations. There is a mini market where you can purchase essentials. It was very windy in June, less so we were told in September. No bus service, we hired a car but if you are prepared to walk up and doen the beach not absolutely essential.

Near Moutsouna on the eastern coast of Naxos, a small house...

Near Moutsouna on the eastern coast of Naxos, a small house for two people nestled in the peaceful countryside. In the morning, the sounds of buzzards echo, and you can admire the flights of peregrine falcons in a deep blue sky. In the evening, the bells of goats and sheep create a bucolic atmosphere. Nearby, there are beautiful, secluded sandy beaches (Psili Amnos) and pebble beaches (Azalas). Matthew and Giannis are extremely kind and helpful hosts, welcoming their guests with genuine courtesy and delicious produce from their small garden. We spent 12 truly special days. About 12 km south of the house, from the beautiful beach of Panermos, you can daily embark for the splendid Koufonissi.

Beautiful views of the sea.

Beautiful views of the sea. Great weather at the start of June. Terrific hotel prices. Amazing choice of restaurants. Completely charming views and ambience. We did the one-day bus tour of the island. Worth it in every way.
