It’s the best value for money hotel in Naxos. Lady at the reception was really helpful and gave lot of information about the places to visit at Naxos. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The property is walking distance to the Naxos main market and port. They also helped me to get the scooter rental. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Naxos.

Probably one of my favourite stays. Everything about the hotel was perfect. Gorgeous room (we were kindly upgraded to a stunning room with a sea view and private outdoor hot tub). The pool area was perfect with a stunning sea view and the most incredible sunsets. Not to mention the spectacular private beach. Delicious breakfast served with a large selection, with new treats on rotation daily. The lunch and dinner menu was beyond what you’d expect from average hotel food at very reasonable prices (even for alcoholic beverages). The chef was incredible! But what really tops this place off is the staff - everyone from the hotel manager to the bar & restaurant staff were so kind and attentive. Such lovely people who are devoted to making sure you have the most pleasant stay. You’ll come as strangers and leave as friends. There is just something so magical about this place, it really does bring people together, including other guests. Never been to Naxos before and randomly chose this island on a whim. But will definitely be returning especially for another stay at Akre. Thank you so much 😊

When Naxos is considered a treasure, Sundunes is truly a diamant in the rough. From the heartfelt welcoming to the serene beautiful design and Eye for detail en guest hospitality. The small buildings and great rooms oversee sea and the stunning surroundings. The centre pool area feels like a safe haven in a fast moving world. Check out also the path to the ‘secret’ private beach. Overall, service, cleaning and wining & dining were superb. From breakfast with fresh products and good coffee in the morning to drinks in the evening. We felt very welcome and at home from beginning to the end of our stay. Many thanks to general manager Nassos and his staff for their service and superb hospitality!

Very friendly staff (specially the breakfast crew). Great breakfast. Very nice and new infrastructure, room cleaning was perfect. Laid back and quiet atmosphere, guests are booking this hotel to relax (even the pool music is comfortable low and not annoying). We asked before arrival for a more private room because we always sleep with the balcony door wide open and we got a perfect room to the side of the hotel. We will return for sure.

We were running late to this hotel and the male reception was lovely and gave us a drink to settle in He showed us around the apartment and gave us local map where to visit We did encounter air conditioning question to which the reception came right away knocking on our door to solve the problem. So any issues they would happily deal with the matter to keep customers happy This place offers daily breakfast with local bread, milk, eggs in a cute basket daily, delivered to your door in a basket! really enjoyed the jam, very fresh! The place is also clean with all the basic cooking items you need to cook apartment was clean and big room cleaning service was also provided Area also great 20 minutes walk to Naxos port however do bear in mind when you are walking there with the luggage with slight up hill to the apartment. Going down hill was easy with the luggage. Bus transfers to Naxo villages are based within the port and to purchase bus tickets in the shop before you get on Halki village etc around 40min bus journey or music easier to rent a car 5 minutes to local fresh fruit and veg. store here 5 minutes walk to local super market and lots of others along the way down into the port. It's great! 10/10 Note: some of the air conditioning can only be turned on if one of the patio windows are opened a jarred. Would stay again next time!

The location is perfect! Just a few minutes from the local beach and also from the old town. The owner, Mr Fanis was great! There was a Supermarket 2 min down the street with everything you needed for the day. Across the street from the Supermarket was Tony's rent a car, where we met great people which rented us a nice Fiat 500 cabrio for touring the island! We also got a discount because we stayed at Hotel Rea.

All the staff - Katarina at the reception and Katarina at the kitchen; Vangelis, Xanis at the bar, Maria, Konstantinos amnd Angelis (I think) are wonderful: smiley, kind and always here to help. I was very happy with my stay at Naxos Palace Hotel. The breakfast is well furnished and the complexe is very nice. The water is not drinkable in th bedrooms but there is places where you can fill up your bottle in the main areas. The staff was very friendly. The beach is not far with a car. There is also a public bus who can take you to Chora.

Lovely area, buzzing little front overlooking the sea, with plentiful bars and restaurants and great food and atmosphere. Close to a lovely beach, again with some nice bars and eateries….looking forward to returning!

Agios Prokopilis has the most beautiful beach with sunshades...

Agios Prokopilis has the most beautiful beach with sunshades and sunloungers and cafes & restaurants. There are places to sit too any of these but it is very busy. The restaurants are mostly the same catering to the tourists and not particularly authentic but you can eat well. The bus serves Naxos town and the rest of the island

Lovely town that continues in to Agios Prokopius, lovely...

Lovely town that continues in to Agios Prokopius, lovely restaurants, each one has great food and great service. Prices are reasonable. Beach is beautiful and it is an easy bus ride to Chora (Naxos town)

I stayed at the far end of Plaka Beach away from the crowds, which suited me. It’s a beautiful sandy beach, with hardly any people.You can walk all the way to Naxos Chora along the beach, about 10 kilometres.

Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for...

Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for accomodation and walking distance to a lovely beach if the north wind is not blowing. Only two restaurant options to walk to at night but it has easy access to hill towns and beaches to the south by car. It's out of the hectic vibes of Naxos Town and very quiet at night so a good night sleep is ensured!

Mikri Vigla is a quiet town with a couple bakeries and restaurants. Beautiful sunsets and beaches, but you should have a car / moped to get around. The bus from Naxos Chora is infrequent and drops off at the beach, not the town proper.

We liked the premises and quiet sandy beach. There is free parking on premise and some very good restaurants nearby. Make sure that when you get the sea view room, you ask for the direct and not the side views room.

Quiet beach with three Tavernas withing walking distance...

Quiet beach with three Tavernas withing walking distance plus some smaller food service locations. There is a mini market where you can purchase essentials. It was very windy in June, less so we were told in September. No bus service, we hired a car but if you are prepared to walk up and doen the beach not absolutely essential.

Near Moutsouna on the eastern coast of Naxos, a small house...

Near Moutsouna on the eastern coast of Naxos, a small house for two people nestled in the peaceful countryside. In the morning, the sounds of buzzards echo, and you can admire the flights of peregrine falcons in a deep blue sky. In the evening, the bells of goats and sheep create a bucolic atmosphere. Nearby, there are beautiful, secluded sandy beaches (Psili Amnos) and pebble beaches (Azalas). Matthew and Giannis are extremely kind and helpful hosts, welcoming their guests with genuine courtesy and delicious produce from their small garden. We spent 12 truly special days. About 12 km south of the house, from the beautiful beach of Panermos, you can daily embark for the splendid Koufonissi.

Beautiful views of the sea.

Beautiful views of the sea. Great weather at the start of June. Terrific hotel prices. Amazing choice of restaurants. Completely charming views and ambience. We did the one-day bus tour of the island. Worth it in every way.
