Had a great stay! The room was modern, clean and had everything we needed, comfy bed, amazing room amenities (this shampoo!), and a Nespresso machine and they kept it well stocked. Staff were super friendly, and the pool was a nice bonus. Everything felt fresh and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

The staff, small/boutique hotel, views and breakfast were all fantastic. The owners and staff couldn't have been more welcoming. They really went above and beyond to make us happy and comfortable, and even let us enjoy a room with a jacuzzi for the day because it happened to be free, while keeping our room which had lovely views. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and this is one of those places that in my opinion is great value.

Everything was simply perfect! First of all I have no words for the staff, so polite and friendly and ready to help you with whatever you need. Special thanks to Nasos and George who tried and succeeded to make us feel like home. Even my young daughter loved them and wants go back to see them! The rooms are beautiful and spotless clean. Our rooms were stunning, comfortable and cleaned daily. Extra little touches with complimentary drinks and snacks. The little kitchen was well equipped with a coffee machine and kettle. The owner was just lovely, so friendly and helpful and gave us all a little pressie when we left. Our whole stay was exceptional and we didn’t want to leave.

Of the entire experience, the best part was the very kind elderly receptionist!! As soon as we arrived at the home, she gave us a homemade apple cake, water and invited us in making it feel like home. She allowed us to check in very early as we came exhausted from our ferry, and then gave us very detailed things to do and places to go. The room itself was clean and very well maintained, thanks to our cleaning lady (who did all the hard work while pregnant!). Thank you to the entire team for being great hosts!

It’s touristic but kept its authenticity.

It’s touristic but kept its authenticity. The old market, the castle…etc all the historical stuff is very beautiful. Beautiful beaches even though not all easy to drive or park to. But you can easily access other by foot. Amazing restaurants everywhere !

Agios Prokopilis has the most beautiful beach with sunshades and sunloungers and cafes & restaurants. There are places to sit too any of these but it is very busy. The restaurants are mostly the same catering to the tourists and not particularly authentic but you can eat well. The bus serves Naxos town and the rest of the island

I stayed at the far end of Plaka Beach away from the crowds, which suited me. It’s a beautiful sandy beach, with hardly any people.You can walk all the way to Naxos Chora along the beach, about 10 kilometres.

Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for accomodation and walking distance to a lovely beach if the north wind is not blowing. Only two restaurant options to walk to at night but it has easy access to hill towns and beaches to the south by car. It's out of the hectic vibes of Naxos Town and very quiet at night so a good night sleep is ensured!

Mikri Vigla is a quiet town with a couple bakeries and restaurants. Beautiful sunsets and beaches, but you should have a car / moped to get around. The bus from Naxos Chora is infrequent and drops off at the beach, not the town proper.

We liked the premises and quiet sandy beach. There is free parking on premise and some very good restaurants nearby. Make sure that when you get the sea view room, you ask for the direct and not the side views room.

Quiet beach with three Tavernas withing walking distance...

Quiet beach with three Tavernas withing walking distance plus some smaller food service locations. There is a mini market where you can purchase essentials. It was very windy in June, less so we were told in September. No bus service, we hired a car but if you are prepared to walk up and doen the beach not absolutely essential.

Near Moutsouna on the eastern coast of Naxos, a small house...

Near Moutsouna on the eastern coast of Naxos, a small house for two people nestled in the peaceful countryside. In the morning, the sounds of buzzards echo, and you can admire the flights of peregrine falcons in a deep blue sky. In the evening, the bells of goats and sheep create a bucolic atmosphere. Nearby, there are beautiful, secluded sandy beaches (Psili Amnos) and pebble beaches (Azalas). Matthew and Giannis are extremely kind and helpful hosts, welcoming their guests with genuine courtesy and delicious produce from their small garden. We spent 12 truly special days. About 12 km south of the house, from the beautiful beach of Panermos, you can daily embark for the splendid Koufonissi.

Naxos is a beautiful island, the people are so friendly, the restaurants and bars all excellent, a good range of shopping and enough to do to suit anyone. We explored some history, visited little villages inland (we hired a car for a day), cycled to the beach, had a morning of shopping and exploring the gorgeous labyrinthine streets, and of course relaxed too! The food is all good, I really don't think you can go wrong, and there are plenty of bars to choose from too. No party atmosphere which we appreciated, but we could still have a night out! We rented a car one day but you don't need to - it just allowed us to explore a little further and go to the winery which was a highlight.
