We stayed at Akre Hotel for 3 nights in July for my bachelorette — a group of 11 girls — and our stay exceeded every expectation! Mrs. Eleni and her team made us feel so special. They even rescheduled their sunset DJ set so we could enjoy it, and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was unforgettable. The views were absolutely stunning — the hotel has prime sunset views! Since it’s a small hotel, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Breakfast was lovely, and they made sure to set up a long table for our group each morning so we could all dine together. We even used the gym for a group class and enjoyed massages, which were excellent as well! Overall 10/10 I would go back in a heartbeat!

Outstanding place. It is very close to the action (supermarket, restaurants, bars, beach) but still quiet at night. Very modern, very clean, strong wifi and AC, comfortable bed, honestly couldn't find any fault. The hosts were also very kind and helpful in every way.

From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay was exceptional. The property was stunning – beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making us feel immediately at home and completely relaxed. Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. They were incredibly welcoming, provided great local recommendations, and were always available if we needed anything. It’s rare to come across such genuine hospitality. The location was ideal – peaceful and scenic, yet close enough to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and beaches. Waking up each morning to the sound of the sea and sipping coffee on the terrace was pure bliss. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will absolutely return on our next trip to Greece. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable getaway!

Words can hardly describe the wonderful experience we had. I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to support this fantastic place. From the bar staff to the food service and the beach staff, everyone was incredibly friendly. This is the most well-rounded hotel I've ever visited. The decor is beautiful, a perfect blend of boho chic with local elements that respect the natural landscape. The food was incredible, from breakfast to dinner, and it's a huge plus that breakfast is served until 11:00 AM. The cocktails were unique and delicious, accompanied by great beach lounge beats that added to the Tulum vibe. The beach itself is stunning, with soft sand and crystal-clear, calm waters. The hotel's beach setup is a true gem, and the beach staff were attentive and wonderful. Yiannes did a fantastic job managing the beach area and was always lovely. A big shout-out to Sam for welcoming us and accommodating us beyond our expectations. The attention to detail was remarkable—we never had to worry about cleaning, as they always took care of it when we were out, allowing us to return to a relaxing atmosphere after a day at the beach. Sam remembered our orders in the morning, and Vessilis and Erikos constantly reminded us to relax. Special thanks to the entire staff for helping to set up the perfect beach proposal. We could go on about all the good things, but there are just too many to list. This place is special to us now, and we will definitely be coming back.

We had the most wonderful stay at Seven Suites and would give this 6 stars if we could! From the minute we arrived, we felt welcome by Barbora who gave us recommendations for beaches, restaurants and must-see attractions around Naxos. The room was so lovely and clean with a private jacuzzi which felt like a luxury. Our hosts served us a homemade breakfast each morning which was a real treat with different Greek specialities each day. Most of all, Barbora, George and Korinne were the most wonderful hosts. Very friendly, welcoming and always happy to help us - be it organising a rental car or booking us fabulous tables with sunset views at restaurants in the area. We have such fond memories of our stay at Seven Suites and would love to return in the future!

Naxos is a beautiful island, the people are so friendly, the restaurants and bars all excellent, a good range of shopping and enough to do to suit anyone. We explored some history, visited little villages inland (we hired a car for a day), cycled to the beach, had a morning of shopping and exploring the gorgeous labyrinthine streets, and of course relaxed too! The food is all good, I really don't think you can go wrong, and there are plenty of bars to choose from too. No party atmosphere which we appreciated, but we could still have a night out! We rented a car one day but you don't need to - it just allowed us to explore a little further and go to the winery which was a highlight.

Very nice big calm beach but unfortunately I went in October and some days it rained. I would recommend going also to a beach a little south called Mikri Vigla where you can find smaller more intimate beaches.

I enjoy a quiet location but there is not much to Agia Anna, you must walk to Agios Prokopios to access a pharmacy and more facilities generally. I think I only spotted 2 shops apart from supermarkets in the whole area. Food options are okay, a decent bakery would have been great. I think the beach for me was the biggest let down. While out of anyone's control due to a winter storm a few months back there are mounds of seaweed everywhere and it seemed to get worse during my stay. The water is thick with it and my few days on the beach meant I had to go elsewhere, there was no enjoyment staying on the beach at Agia Anna. Agios Prokopios seemed fine and the area immediately south which has no sunbeds etc was much better and water clearer. There is a boat that goes to Koufonissi & Iraklia from the port which was very convenient. Do make sure to look a wind before booking it makes all the difference, and it also goes to Piso Livadi on Paros which I would actually rate above Agia Anna if you want a nice quiet location. Access to Naxos Town is easy enough by bus which runs every half hour, tickets can be bought in local supermarket but driver allowed me to pay onboard with exact change, word of warning the evening buses can be standing room only and that was erly Jun so just consider that when returning back.

I stayed at the far end of Plaka Beach away from the crowds, which suited me. It’s a beautiful sandy beach, with hardly any people.You can walk all the way to Naxos Chora along the beach, about 10 kilometres.

Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for...

Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for accomodation and walking distance to a lovely beach if the north wind is not blowing. Only two restaurant options to walk to at night but it has easy access to hill towns and beaches to the south by car. It's out of the hectic vibes of Naxos Town and very quiet at night so a good night sleep is ensured!

Mikri Vigla is a quiet town with a couple bakeries and restaurants. Beautiful sunsets and beaches, but you should have a car / moped to get around. The bus from Naxos Chora is infrequent and drops off at the beach, not the town proper.

We liked the premises and quiet sandy beach. There is free parking on premise and some very good restaurants nearby. Make sure that when you get the sea view room, you ask for the direct and not the side views room.

Quiet beach with three Tavernas withing walking distance...

Quiet beach with three Tavernas withing walking distance plus some smaller food service locations. There is a mini market where you can purchase essentials. It was very windy in June, less so we were told in September. No bus service, we hired a car but if you are prepared to walk up and doen the beach not absolutely essential.

lovely place to stay at and best of all Tosas mom was the sweetest and makes all homemade goods and breakfast, youll never get hungry here . we were greeted with plentiful of fruits and homebaked goods.the place was quiet and had the best views of the town and seaview..we wished we stayed here longer..they clean the place everyday and provides fresh towels and beddings changed everyday. Tosas had given us ideas to where to go and see some attractions and restaurants too.. we loved our stay here..

Naxos completely exceeded my expectations and ended up being...

Naxos completely exceeded my expectations and ended up being one of my favorite places in Greece. It has a wonderful balance of beautiful beaches, authentic Greek culture, amazing food, and a relaxed atmosphere that never felt overcrowded or overly touristy. What I loved most was that Naxos still feels genuinely Greek. The villages, local tavernas, and friendly people gave us a much more authentic experience than some of the more famous islands. Every meal seemed better than the last, with fresh local ingredients and incredible hospitality everywhere we went. The island offers something for everyone. We enjoyed exploring charming mountain villages, wandering through the old town and harbor, visiting historic sites, and taking in some of the most beautiful sunsets of our trip. The beaches were stunning, with crystal-clear water and plenty of space to relax. Naxos has a slower pace that encourages you to enjoy the moment rather than rush from attraction to attraction. It was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, history, and incredible food. If you're planning a trip to Greece and trying to decide which islands to visit, I can't recommend Naxos highly enough. It's the kind of place that makes you start thinking about your return visit before you've even left. Would absolutely return.
