Review Villa Mantalena Gyrismata Skyros We stayed at this place for four days in May. We had rented the apartment on the ground floor of the windmill. This beautiful location is situated in a lovely spot at the end of Gyrismata beach. The owner, Antonis, built this place himself 40 years ago, starting with the windmill which he restored, and surrounding it, he created villas in a beautiful garden. Antonis is a designer, and that is evident in everything. He has an eye for detail, for pure beauty worthy of the island. The beautiful, well-maintained garden with magnificent plants and trees is a feast for the eyes. The apartments are situated in a truly wonderful location, and every effort has been made to make them as beautiful as possible. The ground floor of the windmill we rented was beautifully decorated in the Skyros style, with attention to every detail. From the tiling to the bedding, the curtains, lamps, etc. so many beautiful, exquisite little details. More than worthy of compliments. Absolutely everything is neat and well-cared for, from the bright white bedding to the tableware. It is spacious and fully equipped, from pots and pans to a large fridge with a freezer compartment. This location is home to the big heart of very dedicated people. Antonis does everything he can to make you feel at home. He gives you tips, responds quickly, has a map of the village with interesting facts, and even a nice route map of the island. Super service. He lives at the location. Antonis is incredibly hospitable, everything comes from the heart. A very, very good host. The island is beautiful. We have visited 4 of the Sporades islands; Skyros is truly unique. The traditions have indeed been very well preserved, and that can be seen and felt everywhere. Highly recommended, for sure. A wonderful hotel, especially for families. We stayed for four nights in an exceptionally nice room that was perfect for our family of five. It was a two-bedroom apartment with two queen-size beds and a single bed, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchenette, and an adorable small dining area. The room was very comfortable for our family and beautifully decorated in a traditional style. The owners are a lovely family who run the hotel with passion and care. Although the hotel offers room-only accommodation, every morning we were served a handmade Greek breakfast plate from the owner. Logistically, Girismata beach with golden sand is 5-10 minutes walking distance. Bakery is also 10 minutes away. We had a great stay at Patriko and found it to be excellent value for money.

I travel often, but Vina Beach Hotel (Pouria) is one of the most beautiful locations I've stayed in! Besides the gorgeous room, I would mention the very pleasant and smiling host! You have everything you want at Vina Beach Hotel: the swimming pool, the sunbeds by the sea, lots of flowers and lots of peace. I recommend that when you arrive in Skyros, you stay at the Vina Beach Hotel because you will not miss anything..

A great pension about 1.5k from Skyros port. Located in a small bay, a calm , pretty place with great swimming. Accommodation nothing short of perfect. The owners are very smiley and welcoming. My daughter fell ill, at 1.30 in the morning Mrs Manolos offered to drive anywhere we needed, what fantastic people:)). Small downside, only 1 cafe/restaurant nearby. However the good cooking facilities makes up for that.

The room and the bathroom were excellent. The space was big, very clean, relaxing. The decoration was respectful of the island aesthetics. The bed was comfortable. Excellent wifi connection. The swimming pool and the swimming pool space was big and not loaded. You felt like you could breathe and let go. Beautiful gardens around the apartments. Very good value for money. It really felt like holidays.

Location was excellent, away from the hassle but close to everything in the area. Room was decorated with good taste and had some loving touches, which showed real care. Kitchen was fully equipped and the manager, Mr. Alexandros was really friendly and gave excellent tips and spot on information on whatever I asked. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and outside seating.

The location was perfect, very close to the beach and very close to Chora. The staff and the owner of the property were very helpful, polite and discreet. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The tavern located right next to the property serves delicious Greek food and excellent Greek coffee. It was, overall, an amazing experience! Highly recommended!!!

Our host was really friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The property is right by where the ferry docks and there are places to eat and drink close by, so it's a very convenient and charming place to stay

Just everything was perfect!! The warm-hearted guest, the location, the beautiful room, the delicious breakfast and the many fresh orange juices that I drunk!! definitely not my last stay there!

It was pure magic!! The room was romantic and quiet, the balcony offered moonlit views, and the staff went out of their way to arrange a surprise anniversary dinner. We'll never forget it.

With convenient access to the beach and complimentary amenities like free Wi-Fi and breakfast, Grand Villa Lino exceeded all expectations. I can't wait to return!
