I loved staying at this hotel because it did not feel like a hotel at all. I was working remotely from here during my vacation. My room had a separate entry from the reception area which as a single gay man I appreciate because I love privacy. The lady of the house is the hostess with the mostest. She reminds me of my sweet late grandmother making sure that we were all well fed and content. If I wasn't so British I would have even hugged her...I love this lady and I thank her for helping me with the internet connection. The lovely lady called the IT guy to help me!! Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Fiona - the view from the rooms are amazing and the location, away from the tourist bustle at the harbor below, is excellent. Perhaps even more importantly, the staff were incredibly kind and made us feel welcome from the second we arrived. Even though we arrived with a morning ferry hours before the check-in time, we were immediately invited in for a complimentary breakfast. When we had to cut our stay short due to an issue with the ferry, the staff were also very accommodating.
This is a special place.

We have traveled a lot with our family but never experienced this warm and heartfelt service and kindness that they show you at Niirides! The place is stunning, I could go down and have a morning swim at the quiet beach ever day! So peaceful! But what makes this hotel top notch and wonderful is definitely the people working there, everyone- the driver, the receptionist, the cleaner, the chef and the all the staff are true stars and we will remember them all they made our holiday unforgettable!Thank you for lovely days!

The location of the Hotel was very close to the center. Just 2 minutes walk.
In the hotel, there was no swimming pool. However, we have been shown that a pool was being constructed.
I stayed with my family. We were all satisfied with the Hotel.
We recommed you to experience this stay.

First of all the host was so helpful - even before my arrival he helped me with an ferry cancelation issue.
At my arrival he offered important information about the island.
The place is central. Very cosy and well equipped. Clean and comfortable. A balcony and in addition cosy sitting corners outside.
I will be happy to come back next time I visit Symi.

Our ferry to Symi got cancelled which meant we would need to cancel a night of accommodation. They let us do this and also refunded us which was very kind. The place is very peaceful and right next to a delicious cafe. It's got everything you need, comfy bed and little courtyard to sit in which friendly cats. Thank you for having us!

We had such a lovely stay at Odyssia. The apartment was so nice and the view from it was breathtaking. Lovely Katholiki welcomed us here and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Definitely coming back again someday.

Beautiful island with amazing Italianate architecture.
Beautiful island with amazing Italianate architecture. Lots of wonderful, reasonably priced eateries. Everywhere felt safe in terms of very low crime. But beware that there are few beaches within walking distance of the main town. You have to rely on ferry taxis and they don't run after about October 18th. I can imagine it gets so much busier everywhere in mid-season and maybe it is not as relaxing as we found it at the end of the year.

I'd absolutely recommend symi it's a beautiful island ,stunning even. If I could give one piece of advice it would be to go for a few days not just a day boat trip from Rhodes. To fully appreciate this little island you really do need to spend at least one night this would allow you to at least be able to explore the old town above the harbour with its very steep and narrow lanes plus two or three excellent restaurants.Be aware that that the old town above the harbour is accessible via extremely steep stairways extremely steep.

Charming island with beautiful harbor and authentic village...
Charming island with beautiful harbor and authentic village on top of it. Beautiful beaches, scattered all around the island. Some of them reachable by bus, taxi or on foot, others are reachable by taxi boat.
Love Agios Nikolaos and fish tavern on it with fresh wild fish, love swimming from Agia Marina to small island with the little church there.
Of course, Agios Georgios is incredible place.
The island is not for mass tourism, of course the boats come during a day, but most of them are not staying overnight.
Some wildlife - spotted seal on the beach in Nimborio, and the other person saw turtles on Marathounda beach.
Excellent taverna Tholos, close to port, our long time favorite, also liked a lot Zoe and Kali strata in the village.
And for a Christian, it is a must to visit both Archangel Michael monasteries - Panormitis (newer) and Roukouniotis (older) with frescoes that date back to 15th century. Also, for an Orthodox a surprise visit to Sergii Sarovski church.
