This is an amazing hotel in Chorio, its in perfect location as just around the corner from the bus stop and the stairs down to the harbour. Just outside the gates there is a mini market and a tiny bakery, too tempting to walk past .....The room was perfect with the most amazing view of the sea and the harbour, we never got tired of looking at it. Everything is spotlessly clean and there was a never ending supply of fresh towels, toilet rolls etc. Great aircon and very comfy beds. There wasn't a breakfast option upon booking but the lovely lady at the hotel is around from approx 7.30 am setting up a wonderful array of complimentary breakfast items ( eggs, bread, rolls, cheese, ham, cereal, yoghurt, honey, juice, tea, coffee.. etc) in the dining area where you can eat on the terrace looking out at the amazing view. It's a lovely touch and a great way to start the day. You won't be disappointed if you choose this fab hotel .

Comfortable apartment in front of the sea with big terrasse and magical postcard view to the magical port of Symi!! Stone building which keeps you cool. Fantastic! In addition you have clima. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the center away, so you stay in a quite place and the night you sleep like a baby. In the apartment you find place to store your luggage, all what you need for breakfast (on the terrasse), also things to clean and dry your dishes and in the bathroom you find toilet paper and shampoo. The owners of the apartment are very kind and help you where they can. Just ask them! A kind man picked us up from the harbour with his car as we arrived to the island and he brang us to the port again as we left Symi. We very recommend this place to you. This view you won't find in an other place! From the port you can make day trips to single beaches or an island trip with BBQ.

we come back to this every year with our Greek /Norwegian family . Family suites are spacious and super if you have children as they have two bedrooms . Love the smell of herbs, the flowers, colours ,fig trees , cute cats . We got a renovated room with super comfortable beds , nice renovated bathroom. Great mountain view over symi , especially by night. The people and family that owns this place that works there are warm and loving . See you next year.

A small jewel in the beautiful island of Symi, right in the heart of Kalistrata, the great, ancient staircase that from the port comes to the upper part of the island. Confidentiality, silence, courtesy from all staff. Traditional environment finished with modernity and elegance. Delicious continental breakfast enriched with fresh local ingredients and views of the small, magnificent port of Symi. Absolutely recommended

Beautiful island with amazing Italianate architecture.
Beautiful island with amazing Italianate architecture. Lots of wonderful, reasonably priced eateries. Everywhere felt safe in terms of very low crime. But beware that there are few beaches within walking distance of the main town. You have to rely on ferry taxis and they don't run after about October 18th. I can imagine it gets so much busier everywhere in mid-season and maybe it is not as relaxing as we found it at the end of the year.

I'd absolutely recommend symi it's a beautiful island ,stunning even. If I could give one piece of advice it would be to go for a few days not just a day boat trip from Rhodes. To fully appreciate this little island you really do need to spend at least one night this would allow you to at least be able to explore the old town above the harbour with its very steep and narrow lanes plus two or three excellent restaurants.Be aware that that the old town above the harbour is accessible via extremely steep stairways extremely steep.

Charming island with beautiful harbor and authentic village...
Charming island with beautiful harbor and authentic village on top of it. Beautiful beaches, scattered all around the island. Some of them reachable by bus, taxi or on foot, others are reachable by taxi boat.
Love Agios Nikolaos and fish tavern on it with fresh wild fish, love swimming from Agia Marina to small island with the little church there.
Of course, Agios Georgios is incredible place.
The island is not for mass tourism, of course the boats come during a day, but most of them are not staying overnight.
Some wildlife - spotted seal on the beach in Nimborio, and the other person saw turtles on Marathounda beach.
Excellent taverna Tholos, close to port, our long time favorite, also liked a lot Zoe and Kali strata in the village.
And for a Christian, it is a must to visit both Archangel Michael monasteries - Panormitis (newer) and Roukouniotis (older) with frescoes that date back to 15th century. Also, for an Orthodox a surprise visit to Sergii Sarovski church.
