For the second time we had an amazing stay at Milionis. Its very close to the center and is located in the forest. For the price you have a nice breakfast. All in all we had a great time.

We absolutely loved La Moara. It’s in the middle of the remote Valia Calda mountains, cozy and warm - fires in the bedrooms, fur rugs on the chairs, no sound but birdsong and the river running below. Some rooms are in treehouses and some are on wooden walkways. We had the warmest welcome I can remember from the owners and Petra. They were incredibly friendly and kind, and made us a delicious dinner full of local specialities and a lavish home cooked breakfast. We had a fantastic time exploring the valley - we found bear prints on the bank downstream! Valia Calda is in the Pindus national park so is full of incredible wild animals and plants. It was glorious to be so taken care of and feel so close to nature. This would be a wonderful place to watch the seasons change. We didn’t have time to check out the sauna and Turkish bath but I imagine it would be especially lovely in winter.
