- From $250.81 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 581 reviewsAbsolutely perfect staff !! receptionists I talked to ... , staff in the restaurant ... , cleaning service ... every single person I met was friendly and helpful. This is not always a standard also in other 4* hotels, especially during high season and fully booked hotel. What else ? we missed the dinner first evening (as we arrived too late), the dinner was waiting for us prepared in our room ! without asking/ordering in advance. Absolutely quiet location in the night, after 22:30 you can hear waves from the sea also in rooms oriented to the pool. No noise from other guests, no shouting & laughing from the bar ... The hotel was full of families with children (including mine) and the night was really quiet every time - I was surprised - we could sleep with window open although our room was oriented to the pool. Hotel was fully booked but there were no queues in restaurant, neither morning nor lunch or dinner, as mentioned already, the staff did a great job. Food was very good and tasty, with so many choices of cold and warm kitchen, fresh fruits and vegetables. Nothing was missing even if we came 15 minutes before closing ! We also very much enjoyed Croatian water melons, they were just great. Big plus is also an option to eat on big and spacious terrace (if it's not too hot), close to promenade. Room was pretty small and simple furnished, but clean and practical. However the stay in this hotel was not about the room, but rather about the service and the food and the sea of course ...Guest review byMilanSlovakia
- From $234.43 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 2,984 reviewsHave stayed at many hotels, but I came back to this one for the second time because it truly felt convenient and enjoyable from the moment you wake up — the day starts with a great breakfast, followed by time to relax at the wellness center, enjoy the poolside, or spend time at the beach. Then, just in time, it's dinner — which offers everything you could want. We enjoyed every part of our stay. We’re definitely coming back again because everything about this place makes it worth it! P.s stayed in May so the weather was 18C° - 25C° so it wasn’t that cool as you can imagine since it is a seaside resort so you better packing up summerish clothes tho, even tho it was cold to swim, it was warm enough in the afternoons to relax in the outdoor pools :)Guest review byDiellezaKosovo
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 904 reviewsWe loved the room and the beach. The staff was great, everyone was so nice. The piñas coladas at the Kaktus bar were amazing and the food was also delicious. It was my birthday and they prepared me cupcakes with candles for dinner. The place is amazing and the beach is beautiful, just be sure to take some shoes because there are rocks at the beach. There are a lot of activities to do during the day and the island has beautiful spots. After the check out they let us stay there and use the facilities, which was great. Thank you for an amazing stay we had a lot of fun!!Guest review byAlexandraGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,797 reviewsGorgeous hotel right next to the beach. Has huge territory compared to others hotels in this area. Lovely spa, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness room. Very good breakfast and dinner was included, which is a huge bonus, the food was fantastic with a very good selection. Hotel helped with a smoot airport transfer. It is about 1:15 from Split airport. One of the best spots to stay on Dalmatia coastGuest review bySergiiUnited States
- From $198.27 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 653 reviewsVery cozy hotel. The rest on the island is much more relaxed than on continent. I had read many comments about the food and was expecting to be disappointed, but it wasn’t bad at all. Yes, it is a bit modest, especially snacks, but while you won’t find delicacies, there was a variety, including fish and even stewed calamari one evening.Guest review byIgorHungary

So historic, beautiful, and classic. You want to immerse yourself in the entire city. Was super easy to get around and we had an incredible time watching both the locals and the tourists. I will say we didn’t find the perfect food spot.Guest review byeleanorUnited States - 10.0

Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find everything you need just in few steps. Big grocery store just next to the bus station, big outdoor market place, fish market, promedande, countless number of restaurants, public transport and several beaches. The only downside is that during the peak season it is really crowded.Guest review byEvaSlovakia - 6.0

Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September. July and August is very hot and a lot off tourists on the beach, and on the streets. A lot of traffic, problem to find parking place. We only walk and stay overnight in Makarska center. Biokovo skywalk is fantasticGuest review bySlobodankaNorway - 6.0

Hvar centre is over priced and if you do not get recommendations where to eat you could end up paying a lot of money for poor quality meals. The island itself is beautiful and worth exploring on your on own. Jelsa would be a much better based than Hvar old town, where a glass of wine is half the price!Guest review byPhilG75United Kingdom - 10.0
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.Guest review byKrzysztofPoland - 10.0

Kaštela is a great & beautiful little town with great little restaurants with reasonable prices, nice architecture, 1500 olive tree, & picturesque beaches. Very close to big cities Split and Trogir as well as to the airport. Idea for the calm family vacationGuest review byViraPoland - 8.0

Nice beautiful place but mostly if you are with car so you can move around in all Makarska and even Split and Trogir quiet easily, food isnt the strong side of this area ,best time to go is September or June for sea and sunGuest review byShimi MichaeliFinland - 10.0
Perfect for a chill holiday.
Perfect for a chill holiday. Beautiful, lots to do, great restaurants. Would recommend the Golden Horn beach for a swim, booking SUP boards for some exercise and wine tasting at Stina winery. If you decide not to do the wine tasting tour, it's a lovely place to sit and drink their amazing whites on the promenade overlooking the sea. My favourite restaurant was Vendetta - Sushi boats for 2 are a must! Family run Pumparela restaurant at the Port was also superb, delicious food (including vegetarian for my daughter) and really friendly. EnjoyGuest review byMaryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Initially we thought it was a bit far from Split, but then realised it has a lot to offer (good beaches, restaurants, cafes) and transport into Split is one bus ride. For us it was all we needed - swimming every day in sea and hotel pool, good lunches and dinners in local restaurants, a trip to Split and a trip to the island of Brac for variety. Omis nearby is interesting too.Guest review byWebsterUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom...
Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom even when it’s deep. The water is so clean it’s almost unreal, like swimming in a giant natural pool. If you love pristine beaches and amazing water quality, this place is absolutely worth it. The only downsides are that getting into the water can be a bit tricky since it’s rocky rather than sandy beaches. Also, the supermarkets have very limited options - even the biggest one doesn’t have much variety if you’re planning to cook during your stay.Guest review byЕвгений ПрусовGermany
