The Palms is a clean and cheery hotel, yet on the peaceful side. The staffs are friendly and helpful. What I liked most is our bedsheets! They are clean, white and I can smell the clean linen scent. That was really important to me as I was unwell during that period and to sleep on a comfy and clean bed in a clean room was a bonus! The only setback is this hotel is slightly far from the centre but everywhere is accessible via GRAB/Gojek and the transportation cost is very low even during peak period! Well, if you are lazy to get out, you can always hang around at their lovely reception lounge and pool area. They serve bar snacks and lovely drinks/cocktails. Our laundry was done in a jiffy! Will be back!

Great hotel with many incredible amenities. Pool area is amazing with sandy area, pool bar, slides, mini water park and rentals. Kids club was very good and helpful however not included in the booking price as other resorts. Breakfast was okay with good variety of food. Area is good for walking but keep in mind is very congested in the afternoons to drive.

Fantastic place near beaches, restaurants, shopping and attractions. Food is good and staff is amazing. If you want to take surfing classes or yoga just check the schedule, the view is unique and you can walk to the next beach easily. Be ready for the stairs it will be a daily complementary exercise in special when you go out of the Hotel.

I loved the warm water at the beach.

I loved the warm water at the beach. However there was a lot of rubbish in the water, plastic bags, bottles, and remains from the nightly fireworks. The stall holders clean up their own patch of sand which is good to see.

Ginger Moon, Kilo restaurant and Mammasan are excellent for dinner. Eat st just down the lane. Great acai bowls down the street for brekky, just past Kilo on the left. Excellent coffee at How I Met Your Coffee, just down the road. Handy circle K. Night club can add night noise with drunks. Not really a problem in our stay. Traffic still a nightmare. We walked everywhere.

Good quality cafes and retail, if spread out along busy roads that aren't easy to walk along. Grab is most useful to get around. Not well connected retail and cafe areas. Beach areas are fantastic.

I highly recommend staying at Kirana Hotel in Canggu! We originally had a different hotel booked, but it was sold out, so we chose Kirana—and honestly, it turned out to be the best decision. The location is perfect, close to all the great spots around Canggu. What made our stay truly special was the amazing staff. My husband requested a pool-front room as a birthday surprise for me, and they went above and beyond to make it happen. It was such a thoughtful and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. We even came earlier than our check-in time, but they still accommodated us and allowed us to enter the room early. Every staff member was incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The housekeeping was also impressive. No matter how messy we left the room, we would come back to it perfectly cleaned and organized. They made sure everything was in order, regularly changing the bed sheets and towels—nothing was ever missing. From check-in to check-out, the service was consistently excellent. They made us feel comfortable, respected, and well taken care of throughout our stay. If you’re planning to visit Canggu, I truly recommend Kirana Hotel. You won’t regret it!

If you are looking for Balinese culture, then Nusa Dua is not for you. It is a westernised, gated community, that requires you to travel outside if you want to experience Balinese culture or street food etc

Good bars and restaurants with a mix of live entertainment or just a quite meal with a few drinks. Beaches are clean with lots of sand and bars and restaurants to watch the sun sets. Plenty of shops and litle markets to spend your money.

We found a shop in Kerobokan where all the locals went to buy clothes etc, the prices were set and very reasonable if you didnt want to barter for everything Our villa was at the end of a driveway a fair walk from the shops etc, we couldnt find a salon nearby to have a massage. We were close to a laundry however and their prices were amazingly low and their services was excellent

We were in a good location from everything we wanted to do🤔🤔 We ate at many restaurants in the area. I got to watch the AFL and NRL games at Rama Garden bar and Restaurant. The seafood there was very good and freshly cooked.
