Where do I start this place is a WOW!!! Factor, as soon as you walk in, its lush palm trees and beautiful gardens are honestly just stunning!!! My room was so beautiful that every detail was perfection. The pillows' sheets mattress everything, was top notch 👌 the staff go above and beyond for you there hospitality from the chef to the cleaners the reception lady iluh especially helped me with a tricky situation that was stressful and difficult and she just did everything she could to help me and fix it it im so grateful this place is a hidden gem 💎 it even has the most beautiful clothing shop onsite the food was so delicious the massage was incredible like a sanctuary this place magical sunrises and sunsets its for pure relaxation it is now my favourite place in Bali to stay i can't rate this place high enough i had 3 spectacular days there and I just felt pure bliss 10/10 all round i can not wait!!! To return back very soon, slice of paradise ✨️ 💎🌈🌴

Mayura bali villa looked after us so well while we were there, they were helpful, flexible and ready to serve us with whatever we needed. The views were stunning! Incredible location. We loved absolutely everything! Especially the architecture and the interior design! The restaurant was also excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The view was extremely beautiful as you could see till the vulcanos of Java. Also we loved the hut tub with the sunset view! Highly recommend!

A wonderful surprise in Lovina! I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The setting is beautiful, with a great swimming pool surrounded by a well-maintained garden. The beach access is a huge plus — it’s practically right in front of the hotel, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The rooms are designed like small bungalows, very comfortable and full of charm. You immediately feel relaxed, in a peaceful and exotic atmosphere. But the real highlight of this place is definitely the staff. They are incredibly kind, always smiling, attentive, and ready to help. A special shoutout to KOCONG🙏, who made the stay even more enjoyable! It’s rare to feel so genuinely welcomed. As for the food, everything was excellent. The breakfast and meals were really delicious, and the value for money is outstanding — hard to beat at this price. If you’re coming to Lovina, I highly recommend this hotel without hesitation. I will definitely come back here on my next trip. TERIMA KASIH

I loved the stunning sunset view over the ocean, outdoor dining area that overlooked the water. The beautiful pool, happy and attentive staff. The bathroom in my room was huge and I loved that it was open air. I had a relaxing and wonderful stay at this property. Dian, the owner, went out of her way to collect me from my previous accommodation, and was always happy, smiling and ready to help me with anything I needed. The entire staff were happy and helpful and just lovely.

Munduk has a lot to see and enjoy.

Munduk has a lot to see and enjoy. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and wish I had been there longer. The mountains are really beautiful and it isn’t crowded or touristy like other places. I really, really loved the mountains and found it easy to navigate on a scooter. People are all really friendly too.

I have been going there once or twice a year for 13 years.

I have been going there once or twice a year for 13 years. The locals are so friendly and honest and many are now family to me. The beach is so lovely with all the local dolphin tour boats moored there. A great place to visit for nightlife is Poco Lounge Bar especially on a Thursday or Saturday night with the great bands. It is very well run by a lovely owner and there is never any trouble. Once you've been to Lovina and experienced the real Bali you won't stay in the south of Bali again.

I love this place, the people are just beautiful. We came to freedive and had the best time here. Very cheap accommodation and the food was lovely and very cheap. Would highly recommend coming here and having a very relaxing holiday.

You do need to appreciate this area is a long way from...

You do need to appreciate this area is a long way from Denpasar and has limited facilities, particularly medical. It is GREAT if you are into diving / snorkelling or birdwatching / photography. Also, my wife likes horse riding and we found some excellent stables near Permuteran for that. I enjoy using a scooter to explore nature and the salt pans were very interesting for birds. Eating out - there are some Warungs but we stayed in the resort. Whilst you can hire a scooter, your only other option is taxi and the resort can help you there.

Located outside of Singaraja by about 10kms is "OMunity Bali...

Located outside of Singaraja by about 10kms is "OMunity Bali". It is situated in the traditional highland village of Sudaji.. To get to this location you need to make your own transport arrangements to go there and especially leaving is harder as the local Grab App doesn't seem to reach to here. OMunity prepared food is delicious and creative but eating out elsewhere didn't have much choice esp if vegetarian. The ambience is relaxing, friendly and uncrowded. Walking around the neighborhood is pleasant, and there are short road trips with walks or treks to some of the most stunning scenic places in Bali.

I just needed a rest and tranquility. The place is quite amazing, only 4 rooms and it is such a difference with those resorts where you meet hundreds of noisy people. Rent a scooter or take a driver, there are quite a few nice things to see but perhaps, if you take a scooter, you are more free to go around as you deem.

It is great to stay in the north of Bali! Getting around takes time and requires a private driver. Management & Staff was just Wonderful and made all our wishes come true. Very responsive via What's app - all day long. Great location on the mountain, fantastic view. Private infinity pool! The place to feel into the magic of Bali!

Very quiet - somewhat off the beaten track - but very good for Sekumpul Falls (Villa Markisa, where we stayed, is just about half an hour from Sekumpul). - we must have, int he coure of our stay in Bali, visited 8 falls - but Sekumpul and Fiji were clearly the best

Munduk is a beautiful place really.

Munduk is a beautiful place really. But it is kind of remote so be prepared for not having any sort of public transportation or other types of amenities you might be expecting anywhere else in Bali that is more touristic. The landscape is very beautiful and it's a place full of genuine Balinese culture. Be prepared for riding your own motorbike though, because Munduk sits halfway to the top of a very high mountain, and so any place of interest other than the famous waterfalls are very far away and inaccessible by foot. There are no taxis so you are completely dependent on either your own driving or some nice locals that might take pity on you and give you a ride on their motorbike for a (small) fee (usually 50k IDR). Be prepared and come with plenty of cash because there are no easily accessible ATMs and nobody takes cards.

Great, relaxing place right on the waterfront. The staff are fantastic!! Highly recommend it, if you are looking for some chill-out time.
