Lovina is quiet and that’s about it.
Lovina is quiet and that’s about it. We have stayed there twice now and there’s not much to do. We’ve had a go at the dolphins. Fantastic if you don’t mind the sound of around 200 small outboards at 6am in the morning. It was very underwhelming. Other than that there’s not much to do. I was expecting to be able to go for swims but the beach is dirty and the water is worse. Took two trips from here. One to see the dolphins which is a sad experience. Far too may boats ( I counted about one hundred) literally chasing the dolphins as they surface. I also went to a day trip to Menjangan Island snorkeling site and this was very good.AnnaaromaNew Zealand - Scored 1010
We love Lovina.
We love Lovina. The beach is close and the sunset cocktails are affordable. There are heaps of nice Warungs/Restaurants within walking distance and the snorkelling day trip with the local deer at lunch time was amazing. Lovina isn't packed with loud partying tourists so has a very cool, chilled vibe. Definitely worth a visit 👌ToneeNew Zealand - Scored 1010
It was a beautiful and quiet place!
It was a beautiful and quiet place! The rooms were all air conditioned and quite spacious. The view was extraordinary and so was the service from the manager. He made sure he brought us whatever we needed. The place also has a breathtaking view of the sunset!

Lovina is far from the airport and prices are commensurately lower. We spent 2 days there and swam with the dolphins, snorkled the reef, visited 4 waterfalls, and a buddhist temple. It's away from the crazy bustle around Denpasar and was lovely. Bit tougher to find things like ATMs or grocery stores as a result, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the trip.AAnonymous - Scored 1010

Lovina beach is a black sand beach, during the sunrise you can have a nice swim in warm, clear water. In the evening you can enjoy sunset views, while having dinner at the beach or just a nice walk.

The Balinese decor of the room and overall of the hotel looked beautiful and well maintained. It was just a step onto the beach from the pool. We had a buffet breakfast first morning and A La Carte second morning, both very nice and dinner at the restaurant first night. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. We will definitely stay at the Bali Taman again
