Room space was very large. I love the bathroom :). Good for relaxing. Enjoy the place with no rush life. During our stay, the hotel spa was closed. However, we had massages in our rooms from the freelance therapist. The baliness massage was superb and worth every single cent. The rate was just around $12/hr. The food was good. Everything was excellent for 4 of us. We're very happy.

I stayed in the Deluxe Suite with Garden View on the ground floor providing me access to a private garden as well as a well planned outdoor seating area. The TVs had access to a range of streaming services which was great. The inclusive breakfast was great with a range of options however due to a lack of cooling it could be rather hot. Overall, would recommend to any one head to Bali who wants more of a quit vibe, but still wants access to a range of shops and markets.

Maison Aurelia is brilliant! Room setup worked very well for us with young children, a central lounge so we could close off when the kids were asleep. Beds are comfortable. AC works well. Bathrooms are compact and could be cleaned a bit better / upgraded but are OK Cork restaurant is very convenient and good food wise - perfect for the kids and us when we couldn’t get out in the evening. Their wine selection is amazing - live music Monday to Thursday from 7-10pm, we could have a glass of wine and listen to the music from our balcony. Location is very handy with money exchange, souvenirs, grocery shops, pharmacy, and a short walk to the beach. Adult Bicycles available for free to use Very good coffee shops on the way (Lillian, bread basket and kopi coffee very good) Spa on site is very good too and we were happy to pay for the convenience of it all. Many spas also very close to the hotel Staff are extremely helpful, they couldn’t do enough to help us. It was such a smooth experience that we are in fact going back to stay there again! Don’t think twice about booking here

Fantastic place, I will be back! So atmospheric! The owner is lovely and so welcoming! I stayed in the upstairs budget room, and I loved it - feels like you're in a treehouse, the room is overlooking the lush greenery, and I loved the stairs leading to it. I wish I lived in a house like that! The bathroom is an outdoor one, which for me is a big plus, and the shower was excellent, hot with good water pressure. The place was very clean! The optional breakfast is so yummy, and the wifi was perfect for remote work, very fast. There are two friendly dogs and a very cuddly cat, which makes the stay in Little Tree House even more magical! 💚

Kopi Kiosk was a 5minute walk away down Jasmin Gang/lane. Hardies supermarket was next door to the Kiosk for grocery supplies and souvenirs and clothing. I always recommend Sanur to people heading to Bali for a first trip or tenth trip.

The city can be busy, but that’s part of its charm. You’ll find colorful shops, friendly locals, and a lot of interesting cultural spots like temples and museums. The food is amazing—whether you try street food or dine in restaurants, everything feels full of flavor and tradition.

I went to a restaurant: WARUNG KLUMPU DENPASAR very close to the hotel. They had excellent atmosphere good food and if I stayed longer I would have come back. So please try and experience it yourself!

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to...

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to look around. Everyone we met or talked to were very friendly and kind. Highly recommend. Be prepared to spend time in a vehicle as the traffic is a challenge at best. We went to one of the local malls, enjoying it immensely.

We loved the shops including the women with the market stores, the beach was idilic and very clean. The lagoon and reef picture perfect with beautiful blue boats and family life. Easy walking even with the sidewalks being made. Great variety of food and bars. Loved Icon Bali, just fabulous something for everyone's budget. Least favorite was the bikes on the esplanade, I dont mind moving when they ring the bell but some tourists not friendly. Love Sanur, very pleasurable and can't wait to return Next time I'm hiring a motorbike! I recommend Anna's warung and the satay house next to her for delicious food and unique experience

I loved the natural weave of traffic, the kindness and respect of the Balinese people, and how hardworking they are. So much to offer, for all budgets. I have yet to discover more of Denpaser on my next visit.

It was easy to get around but little to do nearby. A great turtle conservation centre that will keep most people occupied for up to an hour. It's very easy to get to the ports - one of the best port experiences I've had in Bali where you aren't overwhelmed by people trying to / demanding they order you taxis or sell you things.

Sanur isn’t too big, easy to get around, not too busy, magnificent eating places for all budgets with beautiful, friendly and helpful staff. The beach walk is amazing and a must see early in the morning 😀

Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer.

Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer. There is history, culture, good food and places with open space, great views and room to walk if you know where to look. It's also a great base from which you can visit other areas and enjoy unique experiences with little travel time. If you are after a unique Balinese experience without wall to wall tourists, do a little research and you may find that Denpasar has a lot to offer.
