The Leonardo Plaza Hotel Dead Sea is only 5 minutes walk away from the beach. There is an on-site spa and parking is free. Friendly and caring staff. Thanks to Nicholas Makris the check in was exceptionally fast and pleasant. The Sms-service is immensely convenient. The room was nice, clean and had a balcony as we had asked. The cosy hall with new furniture and beautiful design was pleasant to sit in and have a break with a glass of juice. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and had variety of food. Clean rooms, great breakfast buffet, excellent dinner options (the falafel plate was huge and so tasty), very good dinner buffet, especially on Friday!), clean pool (33 meters) with an incredible view over the Dead Sea, to its right, and beautiful view of the mountains to its north side. Try the SYNERGY-SPA at the hotel (very relaxing, one of a kind view), so many different kind of flowers, trees, and cactuses/cacti, not to mention the various birds-just beautiful and relaxing all-in-all! Just 7 min. drive to the Ein Gadi oasis/falls-a must see! Free entrance to the Ein-Gedi-Baths, “Sea of Spa”, (7 min drive) where you can enjoy floating in the Dead Sea (“free entrance” only for guests from “Kibbutz Ein Gadi Hotel”; free shuttle ride option from the hotel). Masada National Park is 18 min by car. You can either walk up the trail, about 90-120 min., or use the SWISS-Build Gondola-spectacular view! Joram Baworowski, Switzerland
The main attraction here is the Dead Sea and the spas. Masada and Ein Gedi reserve are also incredible places to visit. Ein Bokek itself is not very interesting. It is just a string of hotels and some touristy shopping.
Great place, desert with oasis, Dead Sea, baths, commercial centers... Really a nice place to visit - the lowest point on the globe. Be careful - parking on blue-white bands is 7/7 payable and fines are often given to ignorant tourists
A perfect restful holiday with great spa facilities on the hotel grounds and at the dead sea all included in the price plus, all within amazing botanical gardens, amazing views, perfect weather too.
The Dead Sea is a world wonder. This is a place for those who like the beach with some interesting sites around it. If you don't book half board at your hotel, you will be a little stuck for food choices. You are very limited.
The place is easy to get to by a car, it has a beautiful view. The real pearl of the place is the beach and the Dead Sea itself on the one hand, and on the other hand- the mountains- powerful and huge. Perfect place to escape noisy and crowded city life and have a rest enjoying the beauty of nature.
The dead sea area is amazing calming and relaxing even though the hotel was the worst we enjoyed the air the beach and the calmness the sunrise amd sunset are breath taking don't stay away from this area it is amazing and I recommended every person to stay foe a few days in a diffrent hotel this is one of the best places in Israel but don't forget to take a trip to ein gedi and Jerusalem
We went there to experience the Dead Sea and see Masada. If I could have driven early in the morning to avoid Jerusalem traffic I would have visited Masada early in the morning and gone to theDead Sea in the afternoon and left the region.
It's a one of a kind life experience. Dead Sea on one side and desert like mountains on the other. Views breathtaking. To float on the Dead Sea was amazing. Bring water with you, it's hot. The hotels all sell but there is a store for cheaper. It's easy if you rent a car to then drive to Masada and Ein Geri if you want. We did not have a car but took the bus. That was simple, runs every hour after 8:00am ish. My kids loved it! Incredible! Go to Masada and Ein Gedi while there.
It's the Dead Sea so of course one have to experience it at least once, hotels are quiet outdated and there is no nightlife or shopping unless you are willing to drive 25 km to the city of Arad

The hotel was absolutely amazing, I couldn't recomend it more! Impeccable cleanliness; rooms very big, confortable with a great shower and bath tub; amazing jacuzzi and indoor pool made with dead sea water (good option to enjoy the dead sea in cold or rainy days); delicious dinner and breakfast (I've been in Israel for 2 months and this hotel had the best food so far); staff and management team very kind and helpful; free parking and perfect location right on front of the best beach of the dead sea!

It was very quiet and peaceful. Slept like a baby. The flies are bothersome but that is a problem that Israel and Jordan trying to solve for years. Bring your food since there are no restaurants near by or drive to the Dead Sea hotel area. It’s a quick drive to the hotel zone and they have great restaurants and shopping. It’s a no thrills cabin but We all loved the quiet environment after spending 5 days in noisy Jerusalem. Has gated entrance. IDF soldiers presence there. Felt very safe.

Our stay at the Dead Sea Herods was wonderful. We took a garden room which was an excellent choice as we had the privacy of a dedicated pool just outside our room. The garden rooms are also secluded so you don't feel how busy the hotel is. The staff were extremely helpful and service-oriented. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. The food was outstanding and we especially enjoyed the use of the business lounge in the afternoons.

- The connection the Hotel Spa Club was very good, which allowed easy access to its facilities. - The couples massage therapy was pretty good, and naturally, it's walking distance from the Dead Sea. - The facilities offer some nice things such as chairs for the Dead Sea, towels, etc. - Location is pretty good (as most of the hotels nearby though).

The front desk man named Nuriel goes above and beyond to help out people during the stay! If you eat at the hotel for breakfast, try the omelets made by a Russian woman. I've never had one better! The homemade breads are also amazing and the halva is delightful. The spa itself is useful during the day when the dead sea is too hot to enter.

Shakshuka on my breakfast was excellent, the hotel is close to the snake path so it's a nice option to stay night if you want to meet sunrise on the top of Massada fortress. The view on the Dead sea from the main terrace was amazing.

Location is near the dead sea which is what we were looking for, in a quiet residential neighborhood. It's a private studio, not a hotel nor a guest house. It has all the essentials amenities you need, AC, fridge, some furniture.

This was my third time at this hotel. I love the Isrotel at the Dead Sea. Great food, great pool area, and comfortable lounging outside in the shade even with the high heat.

The proximity to the Dead Sea is perfect. Easy, laidback feeling at the hotel - we felt like we were on a cruise ship. And the buffet was super eclectic and accommodating.

This place is more than a campsite... I was collected from the bus stop personally by the owner who was a reat host and great company from start to finish. What he's done here is really special and I wish i had more time here to relax and take it all in. All facilities are better than any other campsite I've been to not only in Israel but in all parts of the world. He's really put his own personal touch on the place and I take my hat off to him for the work he has clearly put in over the last 20 or so years to get the place looking the way it does. A must for anyone travelling in the region. In comparison to the campsite I stayed at the following night, it was literally night and day.
