Beautiful, modern hotel, in a very good location, room overlooking the bay. Great spa area with saunas, pool overlooking the sea, and rooftop jacuzzi all make for a really relaxing stay at the hotel. Breakfast delicious, varied and not just sweet ;) Lovely, friendly staff. Our warmest greetings Sylwia and Wojtek.

Everything exceeded my expectations! The description of the hotel and facilities are very accurate on the hotel page: close from the beach (cca 250 m), close from the marina-restaurants-shopping area (cca 450 m)! So its not in the middle of the town, but I am sure you will appreciate the silence when you need it! It has a private parking place, but you do need to reserve one in advance, and trust me, it`s worth it! I havent asked or searched if the hotel is newly renivated, but everything looks brand new, very functional and perfectly maintained! The staff ....it does not really act like "the staff" all the time, but more like a friend you have not seen in a while, and it`s buzzing around you asking how to help, or what do you need, everytime with a nice smile! Thank you for a most wonderful holyday and for sure we will see each other again! Congrats for your work and attitude!

A cozy hotel in a very pleasant town. A perfect location for a peaceful weekend, or a great alternative whenever you need a place to stay in the vicinity. The rooms provide all the comfort you need; a good night sleep is guaranteed. At breakfast, the selection of savoury and sweet will match any preference. Otherwise, feel free to ask the staff for additional options. For dinner, the Grape should satisfy your taste buds and your stomach perfectly. Consider spending at least one evening at Meja for a very unique dining experience. You will not be disappointed, either way.

we had such a fun time here!! Location is super, you can make nice walks directly from the property. We have dogs, so this was extra nice. Pet friendly place, the surcharge is 5 euro per pet per night. The apartment was wonderful. All is renovated, it’s clean and comfortable. There are washing machines on the premises one can use for 3,50. Staff is super friendly. If we ever return to this area, we would definitely come back to this place!

Great location, great food, fantastic spa, very friendly staff. I celebrated my birthday and they surprised me with a cake and a lit candle at dinner. Really friendly. When we were leaving, we asked if they could extend our stay by 1 hour and they accommodated us without any problems. We will be back. Keep it up.

Grado was good, with lots of shops and dining options.

Grado was good, with lots of shops and dining options. However, there are parking issues all over town and if staying a bit out of the city center, it can be very difficult to find parking and requires lots of walking or biking. The beach was good but the water was dirty, unfortunately, very unappealing to go swimming.

A classic Italian 'old town' with lots of character.

A classic Italian 'old town' with lots of character. Local Italians were friendly and engaging but reported that they are already feeling like "strangers in their own town" because of a considerable influx of foreign migrant workers who do not seem at pains to integrate; giving the town a somewhat 'alien' feeling when walking around. Difficult to find a food outlet for example, that still served both typical Italian food and alcohol.

Gorizia is an undiscovered gem in Italy, main boulevard has wide, tree-lined sidewalks, many cafes and plazas, a fascinating castle and so many churches to check out. Food has been fantastic, people are helpful and friendly. The town is just the right size, not too big/not too small.

Many food places were in walking distance.

Many food places were in walking distance. Most people speak zero english. There is a cool "geek shop" called Magician's Circle, I enjoyed that. THEY MOSTLY HAVE SEA FOOD ONLY. I didn't know that their food is regional. Barely any of the classics you would expect (couldn't find any carbonara nearby for example). Only 2 playgrounds, terrible. Very few games to play there so if you got a kid, good luck. Not every place delivers food to non italians (their website only accepts italian phone number format). JustEat.it was a good food delivery site. Sea is pretty close by car. Just write Sistiana beach, it's 15-20 minutes. 35 euros for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella. 15 euros for a whole day of parking. Calm place, but it doesn't scream "italian city".

There is no basic store nearby to even buy a bottle of water, there is a lot of garbage, the seaweed is not removed after the tide, there is a stench, the municipality does not monitor this, the green area around the beach is covered in shit, although there is a toilet on the beach

I was researching somewhere quiet to stay for one night before an early morning flight home from Trieste airport back to the uk and i found Statranzano -Donatella gave us directions to walk to the property and back to the airport - a code to get throught the gate also meant we were able to leave the property at 3.30am for our 20 minute walk to the airport. Likewise if we had chosen to arrive later for our stay we had the option to use the code. The property was perfect in a peaceful area and the room and facilities were excellent.

It's a great place to stay both if just spending your day at the beach and also if You want to visit some nearby places to view. Maybe best to combine the two: when warm and sunny, head to the beach (most places it is mandatory to rent a parasol) and if not, than there is Aquileia, Duino or even Venezia.

We chose this hotel because we did not want to drive for more than five hours in one day. I thought that this may be a good stop for a one night stay. But we were WRONG - and if we had known it would have been so good we would have stayed for at least three. The room was perfect as was the breakfast - especially the room. We also had an evening meal in the bar which again was very good. I do believe we will put this hotel on our 'to do again' list - But for longer. Thank You

Gorizia ia a wonderful city to wander through on foot. The older part of downtown is well kept. The downtown area offers plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. I think it is good for about two or three leisurely days. There are a few sites to visit and Slovenia is close by. We ate at Peperino(excellent food and an attentive staff) and La Chincaglieria(sp?)(food and wine were really good, the atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly). Overall, I would visit again.

Don't hesitate to book a room here. It has everything you need. The bathroom was big, the bed comfy and we had a room with a table and 4 chairs. Hotel is clean with a bar and restaurant as well. We did not use them, but by the looks of the rest of the hotel, we would have used if we had a longer stay. The front desk staff was friendly and called us a car to take us to the airport at 5:45 for a 6:30am flight. We checked in so quickly at Trieste airport and had plenty of time for our flight.
