The staff were extremely helpful, kind, welcoming and accommodating. I have rarely seen such good people and service. It shows that this is a family-run business as it is worth it! For example, the host helped us figure out how to pay for a parking ticket, which would have ruined our last day trying to solve ourselves. The villa is superb inside and out, for its facilities, architecture, landscape and location. The food was tasty and plenty (we had breakfast included), the coffee and fresh morning orange juice - excellent. The location offered superb views towards the sea, it was quiet and peaceful, with a tropical aesthetic. We stayed here for 5 nights and used a rented car to get around the island - without this it would be a bit difficult to get around, but not impossible. Overall, this is the best accommodation I have ever stayed at, in my fair share of experience with rentals. 100/10 would recommend.

We spent three nights there in early October. While it is a bit hard to find and can be (especially during high winds and rough seas) a bit noisy due to its location right on the waterfront, we really enjoyed our stay there. It is a simple hotel with simple rooms and the next bus stop and parking lot is a 20 minute hike - but that is exactly what makes it so charming. No busloads of tourists, no people who accidentally happen to be there. Just a really cozy hotel with a really nice family owning it.

Amazing location with views of the bay and Capri in the distance. Relaxed quiet atmosphere. The true star is Christian who is an amazing host and made us feel at home. He was incredibly helpful and friendly, amazing at what he does. Stay here and you will be looked after very well. There are a small number of rooms so it never feels busy.

We arrived on our scooter and were welcomed by the two lovely brothers who seem to run the hotel. We couldn't drive the scooter all the way to the hotel but they helped us find a great parking about two minutes away (cost about 3 eur for one night). The brothers and the rest of the staff made us feel very welcome and taken care of. The room was very clean, not very modern but in a classic style, we felt like home. Lovely view of the mountain and a bit of the sea. Super close to the beach with crystal clear water and serveral nice restaurants. We would love to come back!

We vacationed here with our family and were very pleased. The entire hotel area is divided into zones, so even with a large crowd of people no one disturbed each other. Very friendly staff - from the kitchen staff to the cleaners We could always get what we wanted. We will have very pleasant memories.

Picturesque Island of Volcanic Rock, Thermal Spas and Pristine Beaches

Located 30 km from Naples and formed by a complex volcano, the pristine and breathtaking Ischia Island is Mother Nature’s hidden gem in the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is surrounded by an unspoiled coastline, thermal spas, several hiking routes and spectacular scenery.

Built in 474 BC, Aragonese Castle which is perched on natural volcanic rock, is the most impressive historical monument on Ischia Island, and is a modern day reminder of the islands past. Another wonder of island is the Gardens of La Mortella. Filled with tropical and Mediterranean plants, these picture-perfect gardens offer some of the best views over the region and Forio Harbour.

Other attractions on Ischia Island are beaches such as Maronti Beach and Citara Beach. There is also the Angelo Rizzoli Museum, which is a museum of the famous Italian publisher and film producer Angelo Rizzoli, along with the mushroom rock (known to locals as the Fungo) located just off the port of Lacco Ameno. Several local restaurants and bars are scattered around the island serving traditional and local delights.

One of the most interesting and unique areas on Ischia Island is the bay of Citara, and the famous Poseidon thermal Gardens. It features several pools, spas, a traditional Roman Sauna, a private beach and various restaurants. Visitors also have great transportation links by bus around the island.

The accommodation was excellent. The room looked very nice, and I believe it was completely reconstructed. The room was big, the bed was comfortable, and the interior looked beautiful, with nice tiling. The bathroom was spacious. Another advantage is a large balcony, where it is possible to sit and relax. The air conditioning was brand new. The accommodation was just a few minutes from the main building, but it was mainly connected by other buildings. There is also a golf cart transfer if your room is not directly in the main building. However, I was accommodated close to the reception and restaurants as well. During evenings, there was also a live performance by musicians. The breakfast was great; the choice was excellent. The resort offers a very nice view of the sea. The beach is not far, about ten minutes' walk. I think the price/quality ratio was very good. I strongly recommend the resort. My friends and I were very satisfied.

I had an exceptional stay in the beautiful island of Ischia in hotel Terme Oriente. Loved the spa facilities, rooftop terrace with thermal jacuzzi (try it at dawn!) hotel grounds and decor. Great choice of music by the pool by the way, perfect for relaxing and not too loud. I could smell the fresh croissants baking in the morning, and then eating them at breakfast. Had a beautiful view from balcony, room size was just perfect for a single traveller. Location is ideal: next to bus stop, few minutes from the port and about 20 mins lovely walk to the castle. Overall really happy with my choice and would re-book next time no doubt. Highly recommended! Also big thanks to the reception staff for the later check-out, it was a much needed hour of extra sleep.

Breakfasts are Italian style, with lot of sweet pastry. Nice and strong coffee or cappuccino on request. Very polite and professional waiters. Clean and well maintained pools are good standard here for a long time. Hotel location is convenient in the heart of Ischia Porto, near to grocery and bus stop, location safe due to police station nearby. Reception professional, kind and very helpful. Happy to return back soon.

Very nice hotel , great location , in a cove with a small intimate beach, with some stones but without beiya problem. The sunbeds are included. We were in a big group , families with teenagers, we chose the half board option, the dinner was very good. The hotel is very well maintained , with attention to details, lots of greenery. Another plus is that you can reach Forio on foot in 15-20’.

A beautiful island with a range of personal experiences that made our vist unique. Everyone we met was so friendly and we enjoyed all of our time on the island. We did find the roads very narrow and different to drive with a hire car. Th thermal pools at Poseidon were outstanding. We visited in mid-October and found that the island was in the process of shutting down for the off season. Despite this, we are now missing the fabulous family run restaurants and quiet hotel. Would love to go back and visit again.

One of the best places I've been.

One of the best places I've been. Everything was wonderful from beaches to restaurants to views. We took advantage of the local bus service to get to S. Angelo in 2 directions. The rides were unbelievable. Will hire a scooter next time.

Lovely island, it felt like a hidden gem. Not many tourists there this time of year (october). We loved Poseidon. The town Sant'Angelo was beautiful! The Marina/beach and restaurants nearby was very quaint and clean.
