I would like to share a very positive review of Hotel Boutique. The hosts were exceptionally kind, honest, and helpful especially that we visit Ischia with child. The hotel staff was highly professional yet very friendly. The cuisine, especially the dinners, was outstanding, featuring regional dishes made with local ingredients.

This charming, family-run hotel goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, catering to every guest’s needs, from personalized recommendations to accommodating special dietary requests. We had dinner included and food was also amazing, with typical recipes from Naples and Ischia. Both meat and fish dishes were served every other day. The hotel’s covered thermal pool is the perfect retreat, especially on rainy days. Located just a few meters from a public transport stop, it’s well-connected by Circular lines and Line 1, which offers frequent trips to Ischia port. The area boasts breathtaking surroundings, including a scenic 15-minute walk to the picturesque Sant’Angelo peninsula and easy access to the stunning Cavagrado beach nearby. During our stay, the small village of Succhivo (where the hotel is located) had loads of celebrations with fireworks and a stunning concert. Our bed was very comfortable and I would fall asleep in just a few minutes every day (and sleep like a baby 👶 ). Also, almost every other guest was a returning guest. I guess this last line says it all.

Loved this hotel, so beautiful, common areas and gardens are gorgeous, with amazing breakfast in the garden pavilion. Staff were splendid both on reception and at breakfast. I loved my stay here so much, I would gladly stay here again but in a room facing the garden.

Paradise can be as hard to define as it is to find. Yet La Gondola came as close as you can get to perfection. Stunning location where a kind of old school dreaminess exists. Devoid of flash and pretence, the hotel offers the traveller a charm and peace that belongs to an age not found in today's gaudy, noisy world. Indeed, a sign by the thermal heated pool reads "No shouting"! The staff were laid back but attentive, the food 9/10, cleanliness 10/10. Many guests (mostly Italian & German) were there as repeat visitors. Once you go there you will definitely want to return.

Picturesque Island of Volcanic Rock, Thermal Spas and Pristine Beaches

Located 30 km from Naples and formed by a complex volcano, the pristine and breathtaking Ischia Island is Mother Nature’s hidden gem in the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is surrounded by an unspoiled coastline, thermal spas, several hiking routes and spectacular scenery.

Built in 474 BC, Aragonese Castle which is perched on natural volcanic rock, is the most impressive historical monument on Ischia Island, and is a modern day reminder of the islands past. Another wonder of island is the Gardens of La Mortella. Filled with tropical and Mediterranean plants, these picture-perfect gardens offer some of the best views over the region and Forio Harbour.

Other attractions on Ischia Island are beaches such as Maronti Beach and Citara Beach. There is also the Angelo Rizzoli Museum, which is a museum of the famous Italian publisher and film producer Angelo Rizzoli, along with the mushroom rock (known to locals as the Fungo) located just off the port of Lacco Ameno. Several local restaurants and bars are scattered around the island serving traditional and local delights.

One of the most interesting and unique areas on Ischia Island is the bay of Citara, and the famous Poseidon thermal Gardens. It features several pools, spas, a traditional Roman Sauna, a private beach and various restaurants. Visitors also have great transportation links by bus around the island.

The accommodation was excellent. The room looked very nice, and I believe it was completely reconstructed. The room was big, the bed was comfortable, and the interior looked beautiful, with nice tiling. The bathroom was spacious. Another advantage is a large balcony, where it is possible to sit and relax. The air conditioning was brand new. The accommodation was just a few minutes from the main building, but it was mainly connected by other buildings. There is also a golf cart transfer if your room is not directly in the main building. However, I was accommodated close to the reception and restaurants as well. During evenings, there was also a live performance by musicians. The breakfast was great; the choice was excellent. The resort offers a very nice view of the sea. The beach is not far, about ten minutes' walk. I think the price/quality ratio was very good. I strongly recommend the resort. My friends and I were very satisfied.

Nestled in a private and peaceful tranquil setting with spectacular views from the wonderfully maintained, extensive gardens and terraces, just over the Baia di San Francesco. The Hotel Tritone has an elegant atmosphere. Guests are delighted by a superb staff, from the moment of check-in, the front desk personnel was extremely welcoming and helpful, making the stay truly special. The staff at the therms was great, suggesting the best personalised treatment. A special mention for the staff of restaurant: they’re anticipating every wish without being pushy, genuinely pleased that their guests are so delighted to be there.

The hotel is at a very central location, very alive but still quiet. It’s very clean and although the building is maybe a bit old, all facilities are perfectly functioning. It’s also very safe for female travelers. But the big plus of this hotel is the staff- always genuine smiling and helpful, they are really adding at the experience! I hope we return one day and definitely we will stay again at Conte!

Relaxing and quiet hotel with a good amount of sun loungers/ free towel and good sized pool. Excellent and extremely helpful owners who gave great recommendations for dining out in Forio and the local area. Free shuttle service helped us get around the island as well as the local bus service which stops just outside the hotel. Clean rooms and a great view.

A beautiful island with a range of personal experiences that made our vist unique. Everyone we met was so friendly and we enjoyed all of our time on the island. We did find the roads very narrow and different to drive with a hire car. Th thermal pools at Poseidon were outstanding. We visited in mid-October and found that the island was in the process of shutting down for the off season. Despite this, we are now missing the fabulous family run restaurants and quiet hotel. Would love to go back and visit again.

One of the best places I've been.

One of the best places I've been. Everything was wonderful from beaches to restaurants to views. We took advantage of the local bus service to get to S. Angelo in 2 directions. The rides were unbelievable. Will hire a scooter next time.

Lovely island, it felt like a hidden gem. Not many tourists there this time of year (october). We loved Poseidon. The town Sant'Angelo was beautiful! The Marina/beach and restaurants nearby was very quaint and clean.
