"Beautiful city with amazing local food! The people are so friendly! We went to a restaurant called Piccola Osteria Zemian. It has the most amazing delicious local food and local wines! The quality of the produce used and the brilliance of the cooking were absolutely mind blowing! I’d highly recommend anyone visiting Modena goes there. It’s so reasonably priced and the staff are so friendly! The owner is also an expert sommelier who will help you pick out the best local wines to go with your food."

"We stayed 2 nts in Maranello. On arrival we went to Dinner at Drake and then our full day was spent at Ferrari Modena (classic exhibitions) and then back to Ferrari Maranello - factory compound bus tour followed by museum which was modern display and f1 area which we loved! We eat at the Paddock restaurant- delicious food! Next day we went to Lamborghini Museum 30min away. And travelled to venice - great road trip!"

We stayed at this lovely hotel in the hills of Italy for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was very clean, and the owners and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We had some problems during our trip, but the staff helped us so much and made us feel at home. The hotel is in a small village on a mountain — a perfect place for a real Italian experience, surrounded by beautiful nature and warm-hearted people. We will definitely come back and can recommend this place to anyone visiting Bologna or Modena. It's quiet and peaceful, but the big cities are still easy to reach by car. Definitely coming back! :)

Lovely city, shame we only had a day there.

Lovely city, shame we only had a day there. It was so quiet and untouristy, possibly because it was so hot! Very walkable with lots of attractions. Food was great and good value. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

We stayed in Maranello quaint town but with Huge history went to Ferrari museum which was great you see the fabulous cars and the simulators were a big hit can also.book factory tour and track tour. Really.lovely thing is when there's a Grand Prix on the Enzo Ferrari audotorium in the town centre shows it for free on a 1st come.till it's full basis this was great the excitement and enthusiasm of the locals, workers at the factory and the die hard tofoso. There was also a very large market (on a sunday) had some.lovely meals and partner took a Ferrari.for a.spin all available within a short walking distance

The infrastructure is good: huge rooms, huge bathrooms, huge...

The infrastructure is good: huge rooms, huge bathrooms, huge parking space (and Tesla superchargers!) but obviously you're in the middle of nowhere and the outlook of our room ws a DHL warehouse. Wish is ok when you are just on transit in the area, but I wouldn't stay here more then one night.

We arrived Sunday-evening in order to visit Ferrari Museum next day. Very soon we noticed that on sundays the place is dead, almost all the restaurants were also closed and it was almost impossible to find a place where to eat.

The town was centrally located to Modena, Parma and other...

The town was centrally located to Modena, Parma and other cities but still in a more rural setting. The town had all of the services we needed for our weeklong stay oncluding nice grocery stores, a conveniet ESSO station, gelateria and a self-service laundry. We enjoyed numerous food specialities from the region.

Our stay was absolutely brilliant.

Our stay was absolutely brilliant. Maria is a fantastic host who goes above and beyond to make your stay unbelievable. Maria is a lovely lady, very professional, very approachable and we think she should be very proud at what she has achieved with her property. We will be returning one day in the near future. We visited some beautiful villages, ate some traditional Italian food. Everything is accessible. We took a lot of the history of the area.

It is a nice small city where food experience is truly central. Vegetarian may survive but not vegetarian will feel better. I am a bit annoyed about public transportation as it stops very early in the evening and in some cases drivers do not stop a unless you are very visible when you are on the road, same when you are on the bus in case you do not ring the bell a lot in advance at extected stop. Neverthless theer are a lot fo bus and you may reach places easily

Maranello is home to Ferrari ... but also central to Motor...

Maranello is home to Ferrari ... but also central to Motor valley so Lamborghini, Pagani, Ducati nearly. Not far from Bologna. Makes a good stop over if driving east toward Venice or south toward Florence.

Perfect if looking for just overnight stay near autostrada. Accomodation is a country villa in the middle of fields away from town. Lovely typical grand villa in big garden. Ideal for travelling with dog. Friendly host and comfortable room. A bit difficult to find location and to gain entry as there is no advertising the place, just a normal set of bells to ring outside a big gate. Worth persisting as the stay was perfect - once found. Saw nothing of Carpi as such as villa located outside of gown near autostrada.
