A wonderful mountain hut surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Each room has a large window with a view of the mountains. Wonderfully relaxing and an excellent place to spend a couple of days away from everything. Great walks and plenty of fresh air. Wonderful young couple who are very welcoming and excellent hosts. Stayed at Falkensteiner Hotel Kronplatz and honestly, it was perfect. The staff were amazing-super friendly and always went out of their way to help without ever feeling over the top. The pizza-making class was such a fun touch-really hands-on and relaxed, and the pizza turned out great too. The facilities are next level, especially the spa. Everything felt really high quality but still comfortable and welcoming. The food throughout the stay was genuinely fantastic. You can tell they care about what they serve-every meal was a hit. Would go back in a heartbeat. One of those rare places that gets everything right.

We had a great time at the hotel! The kids enjoyed the pool. The dinner was served in 7 dishes, To my wife they prepare a gluten free menu! The hotel crew was very nice!. The location is super for hiking nearby. My son had a birthday and they decorate our breakfast table with ballons!! We are defently recommend the hotel! Baron family.

I spent five magical days at Hotel Monika and did not want to leave! I've stayed at many 5-star resorts and Hotel Monika tops my list. It's the perfect balance of luxury and "coziness" without pretentiousness. From the moment you check-in, you feel welcome and pampered. The hotel's spa facilities are absolutely wonderful. I spent hours in the outdoor infinity pool enjoying the majestic mountain views. The sauna, indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room are all 5-star: clean, peaceful and spacious. The meals at the hotel are top-notch and better than many 5-star restaurants I've been to. I had the 5-course menu every night of my stay and I was astounded by the quality and presentation of food each and every time. The staff is very professional and friendly and as a solo traveler, they made feel comfortable and at home every single day. And I can't say enough about the owner, Alexander who greets the guests every evening personally and serves them delicious bread. He is truly the most gracious host and gentleman. And the lovely Albin at reception will answer all your questions and help you with whatever you need. He even gave me a lift to the train station! Hotel Monika is so fabulous that I almost want to keep it a secret for myself. Go there and stay as many days as you can. You will love it!

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed in with the most incredible views of the Dolomites on your doorstep. We stayed in their Yakima (tent option) which was very comfortable and spacious, with spacious storage units underneath (but be aware of ladder access only to use these). The facilities on site were incredible, super clean and lots of them so it wasn’t busy! Lovely sauna and spa included, and some of the best breakfast (included!) options. Options for dinner on site were so well made, and the on site shop and electric charging came in very useful. Would 10000% stay here again when we come next time.

great SPA, two sauna ceremony every day, great equipment for kids as well as for adults only, amazing food, plenty options on breakfast, dinner was excellent, we have enjoyed a lot, very good position for hiking as well as for skiing, just 5 mins by car from cabin lifts on Jochberg or Gitschberg, you can use also ski bus directly from hotel, Malga Fane nice walk for families + hotel's own Masl hut with brunch, very nice daily program organized by hotel, we definitely return in future :)

This whole hotel surpassed my expectations. The food was incredible with a massive array for both breakfast and dinner. A small lunch was included which was a bonus. The staff including the waitresses at dinner were very friendly. The wellness facilities were brilliant with a massive selection to use and lots of beds - we took part in the free Finnish sauna experience which I would recommend. Overall great hotel, lovely room and excellent food. Would recommend.

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination.

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination. Many slopes of varying difficulty. Something for everyone. All are very well groomed every single night. Lifts are refreshed / replaced by newer at extreme rates. Parking at the bottom station of the gondola is the best that you will ever experience and the price is quite affordable.

Dobbiaco is a really beautiful town.

Dobbiaco is a really beautiful town. There is a train station for trips to other nearby towns or into Austria. The bus service is excellent. You can go for hikes up the Dolomites and reach the famous three peaks. So much to do. The drinking water is amazing.

This was a great location with easy drives to Lago Braies (30 min) and Tre Cime (one hour). The town itself was small, but filled with restaurants and shops. The views were beautiful. And while we played golf at Alta Badia (one hour drive and best views), there is a golf course right around the corner from this hotel that looks pretty great as well. The area was a great home base to go to many different popular sites.

San Candido is by far the most beautiful town in the Drei Zinnen area. Its central pedestrian zone offers a charming selection of cafés, restaurants, and small shops. Extremely touristy but also extremely beautiful. The lake struggles with too many cars and too many visitors. We were able to get a special pass to parking because we were actually staying in the valley which is preferable but expensive.

A very neat, clean and perfectly organized city with...

A very neat, clean and perfectly organized city with Austrian organization and Italian flair. The feeling of security is very high, there are no beggars, no suspicious men. The stores sell excellent goods, there are no cheap stores like New Yorker, generally there are no international brands, but that's why you find very high quality goods at reasonable prices. The food is gastronomic, and the prices are acceptable. The architecture is first class.

Nice village, easy to stroll around - few shops, caffees,...

Nice village, easy to stroll around - few shops, caffees, restaurant available. Great for cross country skiing - Dobbiaco is linked with all neighbour villages and long distance trails are also starting from here. Easy access by car and skibus to 3Zinnen ski lifts.
