Friendly owners who gave us great tips on restaurants that we tried and how to navigate the ski system going to Campiglio and back

Newly built, nice atmosphere with beautiful and spacious rooms. The breakfast is great and the staff is always very kind and helpful. The garage for parking is very useful, as well as the ski room if you are there in winter. Overall greatly recommended!

We've been there 4 times and we consider Lefay Dolomiti a gold standard in hospitality. Everything is perfectly organized, there's never anything about them that we can complain about. They always help us and accommodate our requests, the people are nice and welcoming, always helpful. The Spa is high quality and they have those amazing thermal pools - those alone are worth the stay. The rooms are very large and clean, some of the best beds we've slept in. The main restaurant is very large and provides amazing views over the nearby mountains, you can always find a table there for breakfast or dinner (at least in October). The breakfast buffet is one of the largest and highest quality we've seen. We'll be back.

Everything! Friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful location with a big parking, spacious rooms with an amazing view on the mountains. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and the hotel has a lot of "cachet" - beautifully constructed. They have a restaurant where you can try local Trentino cuisine and tasty grappa! The food is excellent and has good value. The breakfast was huge and they also serve you freshly made orange juice and omelets. I can't think of another place I've been where I got such value for money.

Our stay in this hotel was an unforgettable experience. We booked the Lovely Lodge with private sauna and hot tub at the last minute for 1 night as we were spending a week in the Dolomites and the weather was showing rain for 2 days so we just wanted to relax and couldn't have made a better decision. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a nice lady at the reception, who walked us to our lodge and showed us everything we needed. The lodge was love at first sight. It had 3 floors, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchenette with everything we needed, and as I mentioned before, a spacious terrace with our private hot tub and sauna that we could use at any time. We were welcomed with a plate full of hams, salami, cheeses, several types of wine were also available (for a fee). We even received a welcome package with some little things for our dog. I was pleasantly surprised by the equipment of the lodge, there was, for example, a Nespresso coffee machine with capsules, a milk frother, various kinds of loose teas, which I liked very much, a juicer, everything necessary for cooking, a dishwasher, slippers and bathrobes. There was a TV on every floor. There was underfloor heating, so we were definitely not cold. From our lodge, it was only a few steps to the Spa area, where I again liked the details such as the possibility to have refreshments (nuts, tea, water), to relax in the relaxation area or bask in the outdoor pool, which offered us a view of the snow-capped mountains. After spending a few hours in the lodge, we decided to extend our stay by 1 more night, even though our lodge was not available, they offered us a different one that was just as great. As an advantage, I also have to mention that our car was parked in the garage all the time (free of charge), each lodge has its own parking space. We had breakfast included in the price of our stay, it was delicious, the staff in the restaurant was very nice and helpful.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the Daolasa ski lift, less than 10 minutes by ski shuttle and there are 3 frequent buses that stop at the door step of the hotel! Pool is great, water is warm and area is well looked after. Adult only sauna area is nice for childless travellers. Supermarket across from the street is a plus and a selection of restaurants and bakeries close by. Free outdoor parking next to hotel, access with a key for guests only- stress free! Underground parking for a fee. Ski storage with boot warmers, self service. Breakfast has a wide selection and was always stocked up. Rooms are clean and warm and all the the staff were friendly and efficient. Our room had balcony and huge terrace. Dinner service available and later a small bar and lounge room with music from around 8pm to midnight.

Amazing Mountain Getaway at Hotel Gaia We had a fantastic stay at gaia! The staff and owner were incredibly friendly, and we even got a free upgrade. Our room was spacious (got a free upgrade) and offered stunning mountain views. The area is perfect for hiking, with many trails nearby. One of the highlights was pressing our own fresh juice every morning. The spa was well-equipped, and we loved the two swimming pools and the relaxing area. After a day of exploring the mountains, it was wonderful to unwind in such a serene environment. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Everyone who works there is near perfect. The room was ideal. The spa service was brilliant, as was the location. Breakfast was ideal. The bartender i have to say not only made me a cosmopolitan that brought a smile to my face. His aura was just magnificent. You are very lucky to have him. I'd happily steal him for Scotland as that's how a bartender should be. Exceptional stay. I will be back on my next motorbike tour

Absolutely amazing! Owners are very friendly, apartments are very cozy. You are delivered to ski lifts and back by car drived by Enrico. Jus text him on the top of the cable car and he is waiting at the bottom. Best wishes to Mattarei family from Vilnius :) It was maybe the best place in our traveling history.

I have to praise the ski resort - it is excellent for skiing...

I have to praise the ski resort - it is excellent for skiing because in winter there is always enough snow, the landscapes are stunning, and there are diverse ski slopes for both beginners and experienced skiers. And the place itself, although small, has a few cafés where you can relax by the fireplace after skiing.

Nice little city, though bigger than it seems from the main road. Worth an evening stroll to explore the streets, the church, etc. Streets are well maintained and clean, there is a nice little park, clearly the mayor is doing a good job. There are two small supermarkets, a cheese shop, restaurants, and cafes. Great place for hikers as you are close to many great hiking trails.

Nicely placed city in the valley but very close to Daolasa station (6 mins with the bus) to get into the mountains. City is clean, has a number of shops and restaurants and very cool Dolomite climate to it.

Val di Rabbio is for the off the beaten track tourist who...

Val di Rabbio is for the off the beaten track tourist who likes good fodd and good hikes. they have Golden Eagle and Bearded Vulture in the valley. It is also good for fly fishing and they are proud of their heritage e.g. their sawmills. If you look for a place that is not crowded yet and that gives you a lot of quality for your money, give it it a try.

Marilleva 1400 is up in the mountains. There is a good road for cars, but, I can imagine, when it is snowing, it could be a trouble to get there without snow chains. I tried to find out the snow conditions before arrival, but I did not succeed. Therefore I bought snow chains for sure, but I did not use it. If you stay in Marilleva 900, you are on the safe side and there is also a lift to M-1400. On the other hand M-1400 is less busy place without dozens of busses and turists.

Beautiful small italian village.

Beautiful small italian village. Charming with small shops and restaurants. Fantastic for skiing holidays s nicer than Tonale since it has a charm of the small town. There is swimming pool as well and ice skating. I think it is great place in summer holidays as well.

Passo del Tonalle surprised me with its variety and diversity of downhill tracks. At the time of our stay there was little snow, but the slopes were perfectly groomed, so the quality of skiing did not decrease. There is no shortage of opportunities for cross country skiing and walking.

Small, beautiful town in the Alps.

Small, beautiful town in the Alps. Mainly with hotels, a few shops and restaurants. Amazing views from every part of the town. Perfect for skiing as situated nearby 3 large skiing areas of Val di Sole. Ski busses going mainly to Folgarida, but also close to Madonna di Campglio and Marilleva. There are also some walking routes for those that do not ski.

Beautiful natural scenery of the Dolomites.

Beautiful natural scenery of the Dolomites. Marilleva 1400 unfortunately is not a very pretty or character filled resort as it is made up of purpose built concrete apartment/hotel buildings which are not very attractive compared to resorts in France, Austria or Switzerland.
