We loved this hotel. The reception staff (Maamoun) was very friendly and nice. The room was spacious and clean. We were surprised by the fact that all the drinks and confectionary in the mini bar were free. The breakfast was fantastic and we particularly enjoyed the fresh orange juice that was complementary. We would like to visit this hotel again.

I was very kindly welcomed by Firas and his colleague. They recommended me stuff and they took plenty of their time to explain me Petra, Jordan and the culture. We had long discussions about anything! I have never ever had such a good hotel experience! And I stayed at 5 star hotels like Hyatt before! I highly recommend Sunset hotel, because of the exceptional staff!!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. It is very clean and extremely well kept, especially for a four-star hotel, everything feels cared for and well maintained. The value for money is exceptional, honestly hard to beat. What truly makes the stay special, though, is the staff. They are so, so kind, always helpful, and genuinely go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best possible. You really feel welcomed and taken care of from start to finish. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and outstanding service.

We had a wonderful stay at Dana Trail Hotel and truly enjoyed our time there. The food was absolutely amazing, and the views were unforgettable, making it a very special place to relax and unwind. Our host, Alex, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the experience even better. The rooms were very comfortable and provided the perfect place to rest and recharge. Unfortunately, due to bad weather and a tight itinerary, we didn’t get the chance to do any of the trails, but that just gives us a great reason to come back and stay longer so we can fully explore the area next time. One thing to keep in mind is that the shower temperature can switch between hot and cold, but this wasn’t an issue for us. We were simply grateful to have a shower after a day of travel. A beautiful place with a warm atmosphere, and we’re already looking forward to returning.

Newly opened hotel in the heart of Petra, very close to everything including the Petra visitors center. The staff at this hotel was absolutely amazing! They went way and beyond to accommodate us. Amazing breakfast and great dinner. The room was very clean and fresh with heating. We met 2 girls in Wadi Rum and recommended this place so they booked it on their way to visit Petra.

Great Breakfast with omelettes, scrambled eggs and a huge buffet. The room had all mod cons and a good balcony with views. The staff were amazingly accommodating welcoming us after a long flight from Australia with tea and croissants then ferried us to the Petra entrance as soon as we asked. We toured Petra twice and to our delight in the morning before being taken to the Petra Gates in the hotel bus we were presented with lunch bags complimentary to make our day just that much better. After visiting each time we were picked up by the hotel mini bus and taken back to the venue after calling them on the phone number they provided again complimentary. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff of this hotel. It was wonderful. To top it off Zayed booked a private transfer for us to Aqaba and as usual with this venue the car turned up right on time. I would recommend this hotel as a genuine quality venue with absolutely committed to service staff.

In Jordan, we didn’t just discover breathtaking landscapes, but also people who put heart into everything they do. This hotel was not just a place to stay – it was a warm refuge where we felt truly blessed to be welcomed. Everything was beyond perfect: spotless cleanliness, peaceful atmosphere, and real comfort... but what truly touched us was the genuine hospitality, the sincere smiles, and the care we felt in every little detail. We didn’t feel like tourists – we felt like cherished guests. For all this, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We leave with full hearts and the deep wish to return someday.. The staff at the Seven Wonders Bedouin Camp at Little Petra were excellent , in particular the manager Ater, who welcomed us and was super helpful in helping to organise our walk around Petra , the accommodation was really good , very clean and comfortable, the food was great as well, local dishes. I would highly recommend a stay here , particularly if you wish to enter Petra through the much quieter and less touristy back entrance that brings you in via the Monastry at the top. .

We had a wonderful stay at the Dana Guest House. One of the best experience of our life, all the staff is here to make you feel at home, with authenticity and generosity. The view on the Dana Reserve is breathless, especially as you can even enjoy it from your shower! The home-made diner was amazing with a lot of choice. And Salem was an incredible host, with great advices and always paying attention to us. If you come to Jordan, you should not miss this place !

My favourite places in Wadi Musa were definitely the amazing viewpoints, the ancient surroundings of Petra, and the hidden spots that gave the whole experience a unique feeling. The beauty of the area and the peaceful atmosphere made every place feel special. For food, I enjoyed trying local restaurants and traditional Jordanian cuisine. The meals were a great part of the experience, especially enjoying authentic flavours after exploring the area. Getting around Wadi Musa is quite easy. Most places are close by, and taxis are available if needed. The town is small and convenient, making it simple to explore without much planning. For groups of friends, there are many great activities to enjoy together — exploring Petra, watching the sunset from beautiful viewpoints, trying local food, visiting nearby attractions, and enjoying the unique desert atmosphere. It is a perfect destination for friends who want a mix of adventure, culture, and unforgettable memories.

This is a gem of Jordan for me.

This is a gem of Jordan for me. It's the place of nature and Bedouin lifestyle. I highly recommend to reach out to the hotel you're staying to ask for options of activities. Talking to the local definitely give you the most insightful and good choices. They know all the good things to offer and always share everything first and let you choose what resonates to you. The hotels in Dana were renovated from the abandoned houses. Many Bedouin people left to find jobs to lead an easier life. One family stays to bring the live back to village and give work to the community. So staying there means you support this lovely community and keep the village alive. ---- Tourist tips - Recommended mean of transport is driving - Food are homecooked. You can also join the activity of cooking in the wild. - Plenty of trails to trek and hike

we have encountered fraudulent behavior on the part of the accommodation operator. after making the reservation via "booking.com" we arrived to the location - meeting with the resort representative "Ahmad" we were taken to another camp resort ( very old, nor matching the pictures during the booking, empty ) being told that the other "camp" is full... but 1 room could still be found - as long as we're happy to pay double price. We accepted as we're in the middle of desert. But this was clearly deliberate fraudulent conduct. Our recommendation would be for Booking.com not to keep contractual relationship with such accommodation providers.

The village has been abandoned and then rebuilt as a hotel. It sits above a valley and has a stunning view that goes all the way to the Dead Sea. The very friendly Musaad made sure that everyone felt welcome and helped. He also set up a guide for our trip to the nearby Sela' fortress, which is a very interesting Nabataean site. A beautiful spot away from the crowds of tourists, a chance to see the real Jordan.

Well the landscape is breathtaking and there are some hikes provided. But sometimes, they require you to pay entry or hire a guide (for like 30 JD a person), which is a lot considering you are staying. Also if you want to do the Wadi Dana trail, you would have to arrange a 2-hour ride back.
