What a find this hotel is-set in a lovely picturesque quiet village of Yoshida- the hotel which comprises nine floors has only got 16 accommodation units, each is like a mini apartment with stunning views. The staff could not have been more helpful they went out of their way to make our visit memorable.. My wife and I are both vegetarian and they made a real effort to cook a special breakfast for us every morning and a beautiful evening meal. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

This is a beautiful and spacious traditional Japanese style house. A really relaxing environment to absorb the atmosphere of Shodoshima island. All of the facilities were great - it was the ideal combination of modern convenience and traditional Japanese interiors. The futon mattresses were very comfortable. The house is ideally located close to a beautiful beach and with easy access to all other locations. The host was extremely friendly and helpful - he went out of his way to help me out with an issue I had with my car. I couldn't recommend highly enough.

It was an excellent location, stunning in fact. Rooms were. We had a BBQ meal, the steak was superb and the meal was very nice but it lacked any flair! The whole place was a bit tired looking and would perhaps benefit from some repairs to deck chairs and a coat of paint. Notwithstanding this it was clean, the room generous and comfortable and the service was good.

To me at the age of 80 this is the new kind of accommodation (unlike traditional hotel or ryokan in Japan) which meets our requirements. Being a self contained lodge with all necessary facilities such as washing/dry machine and fully equipped kitchen we did't miss anything more. Since it was a low season many of local restaurants were not fully open, so self catering is good to go.

Seasion is a beautiful place to stay. The staff were so friendly and ever helpful and communicative. The apartment was perfect for my short visit. I also really appreciated the creative flair, and excellent coffee!!

Location of this hotel is unique on Shodoshima island, including fantastic view of sunset while dining (or just sitting in the lobby!). It also connects to a quiet park full of Sakura trees. Public bathes have great view too. Facility is not brand new, but the experience of using them was greatly comfortable. Most importantly, service is outstanding. We are a family of 5, not speaking Japanese, the hotel front desk helped us a lot on transportation to and from Ikeda port and local supermarket. we cooked in our family suite and enjoyed three days stay. We highly appreciate the service from hotel staff. Thank you very much!
