It was an excellent experience, everything was explained and organized, rooms are great and clean! The most memorable is of course the NUXE spa. Although it’s not included in the hotel price, it costs all the money. It costs 60€ /person however if u take a treatment in a spa like massage, etc - then the entrance is free. You can also divide this entry fee into 2 days - so if you stay in the hotel for 2 nights like we do you could go 2 times for 4 hours and it’s enough! Spa in a grit is amazing Saunas are amazing Jacuzzi as well Never overcrowded, etc We also had once a dinner in restaurant - we took 3 course menu per person it was 75€ and it was amazing ! Overall stuff and everyone were very nice and all worked good!

The swimming pool, whilst small, was perfect for a refreshing dip. I was very lucky to have it all to myself at 8am. The sun terrace would have been lovely but it was so hot on the day I visited, I could only take about 10 minutes out there. The bar was good for a quick drink before going out for dinner and for a night cap Location, not difficult in such a small place, but ideal at the foot of the castle and 2 mins walk from a selection of good bars and restaurants.

Wow what a wonderful establishment! Staying on the river itself has such a magical feeling and then the rooms just add to that. Very clean and modern with a few vintage touches here and there which draws on the hotel's wonderful history. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant also serves top quality food and their day menus are something to look forward to everytime.

Luxemburg is just beautiful and every aspect (infrastructure, houses, shops) has a high quality of living/maintenance. I enjoy nature there, with the beautiful hills, and people there are always friendly. Additionally, they normally speak French, German and English, so communication is not a problem.

Clervaux is a small town in the heart of the Luxembourg...

Clervaux is a small town in the heart of the Luxembourg Ardennes. The town played a key and heroic part in the Battle of the Bulge toward the end of the Second World War. You will be able to see an American Sherman tank that had a pivotal role in the battle for the town and which has now been restored. There is also Clervaux castle and the Family of Man museum along with the Museum of the Battle of the Bulge. And just outside the town you can visit the Saint Maurice de Clervaux Abbey.

Wilz. What a disappointment.

Wilz. What a disappointment. For such a large town in the Ardenne with all its great country trails and forests around, the town has little to offer except being a base to sleep. It feels very functional and food choices ae limited. It's high spots are the chateau grounds and its Battle of Bulge museum, some other gardens and a memorial tower, but plan for less than 1/2 day. Sports facilities are a plus point too - not that you'll need extra fitness - streets are steep. For one solid memory, head west out of town to the National liberation memorial at the Schumanns Eck crossroads. It recognises the allies liberation of the area in late 1944-45 through a 3km installation trail of 65 life-size silhouettes images of real US and German soldiers and civilians present during the Ardennes offensive. Go early and in eerie silence appreciate your freedom.

Diekirch is a wonderful place to visit.

Diekirch is a wonderful place to visit. For those interested in World War Two, the town was in the path of battle in 1940 and again in 1944/45. The National Military Museum is superb. The town is well worth a two-day visit, very picturesque, the Sauer (Sure) River flows through, walk along the river, it's very nice. One caution: most restaurants are closed on Sunday and Monday, so you may have to search for a place to eat. On the square in the pedestrian zone, there are a few open.

We want to thank Olivier for the help he give when my partner was falling from the stairs outside in the evening and Olivier called the ambulance and take care for my partner all the time. Also Olivier is a great doglover and he give our dog some special dogfood, that was a nice surprise for our dog . all the staff are so friendly and nothing is to much for them if you want something. This is one of the most beautiful villages I have ever visited, with a nice riverside setting for Cafe's and Resturants and the Castle ruins on top of the hill, which can be walked up to from the village centre. Wonderful small City, cute, but that has it ALL.

Wonderful small City, cute, but that has it ALL. Lot's of nice walking trails too, and outstanding Public Transport going just about everywhere. Very friendly inhabitants too. = 10/10 !

The castle is a brilliant visit and a walk along the Our Promenade are two excellent activities in Vianden and there are plenty of well marked hiking trails in the area as well as free public transport to adjacent areas.
