Boutique is the perfect word, a great place with simple but great rooms in an easy location. The breakfast is actually very good for what is on offer in the included part, staff are fantastic. It is a great place with only about 11 rooms in all.

Staff was so nice...I needed help with my wifi, and took a bottle of wine downstairs to open...The clerk fixed my iPad and opened my wine...Another clerk copied the TV guide for us...A few minutes later there was a knock at our door, and he brought us two beautiful wine glasses. We had to leave at 5:30am for the airport...The free shuttle driver brought us two lunches since we were going to miss breakfast...He was very nice...

Leon is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, rich in Mexican culture and history. It's also Mexico's leather goods and shoe production / sale center. If you don't plan a trip to Leon as a destination but are visiting Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende you won't go wrong making a day-trip to Leon.

A good combination of antique architecture and modern buildings. Clean and well organized. Public transportation is very smooth, which is better than CDMX. Climate here is also cozy and mild. A great variety of foods can be enjoyed here.

The streets are kept spotless at all times.

The streets are kept spotless at all times. In el centro, the area surrounding the Parroquia, the cobblestone streets have been preserved, and they look nice but are tough on tires and feet. Wear sturdy shoes. That part of town is hilly, walking on the streets can be strenuous. Recommend the restaurant at the Hotel Santa Monica, excellent food in beautiful courtyard. Also enjoyed, in addition to Parroquia, the Museo de Juegetes (Toys). On the top levels are the ingenious moving handmade toys by Mexican artists. Never seen anything like this museum.

The museums and Artesania were incredible!

The museums and Artesania were incredible! The studio of Gorky Gonzales is a ‘must visit’. We loved eating at the smaller traditional restaurants like Oajillo, Pink Pepper, and Comedor Traditional. Bring your walking shoes! There are many hills and steps!

Check in times in general can be a little too late 3pm. Morelia its selft has alot of Hisotoric and Culinary places to experience. I feel like Patzcuaro has a more diverse and authentic art, curios, souvenir community.

I liked cibeles, restaurants sabor a café, café boulevard, el rincon del cafe, mi lindo sinaloa, it's easy to get around the city in camión, or Uber and taxi even they sometimes overcharge, use common sense when you are in certain areas, don't show valuables such as jewelry, money, or cell phones, be careful at all times and enjoy your visit

I wanted to go to the market and the plaza, but the traffic, particularly the bike and motorcycle traffic, were seriously dangerous. Very crowded and not picturesque to see (what I saw). I changed plans and departed for the hotel. But, if looking for places to eat, I recommend Los Plebes, an outdoor covered restaurant with great food and good service between town center and the airport.

The centro area is car free in all directions so it makes for a nice stroll around the historic area. It's very flat with nice sidewalks and ramps. If we had spent more time there we would have taken a winery tour of which there are many. I think Tequis would be a good two to three night stay.

I was there for work, but was able to enjoy the town in my off-time. This is a great town that's not crowded with tourists. It's "tranquilo" and a great place to just walk around and enjoy.

I personally did not like that the lost and found department...

I personally did not like that the lost and found department are not reliable. I left my information to front desk for them to call me back regarding my adidas shoes and pants I left In my room, However no call was ever returned. I won’t be staying here, there has to be more respect for people’s belongings that are left behind. It’s a hotel these type of situations happen, and for them not to return your items is wrong.
