Located in the heart of Gisborne, Emerald Hotel features 1000MB free WiFi per day, an outdoor swimming pool, a spa pool and a fitness center. Room 8215, excellent. Excellent room size, spacious. great bathroom size. Great view, may consider second floor for a better view of the river. Good location, well sited within easy walking distance for dining out. Parking was easy and convenient, The balcony for this room was quite large and would have easily sat up to six at the table.

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the center of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. Room was clean, bed comfy, shower and spa very nice. And the lady at reception was very friendly. This is how all accommodations should be.

It is the most beautiful art deco home. We lived it. Stunning windows and it was roomy enough for us all to spread out.

This was the nicest cottage with a wonderful view of the ocean, situated amid a lush green garden with succulents and orange trees. It is a large room with a fully equipped kitchen and all-round windows, bright and airy. The bathroom is private and in a separate building but just a covered short outdoor passageway from the cottage door, lit up at night. It also had a washing machine with detergent provided, which came in quite handy. the whole thing is very private, and we were only sorry that we only spent one night here. We would definitely come here again and hopefully spend more time.

The location for this property is really special. To be in the middle of a vineyard, especially in the evening and early morning when no one else is around was such a privilege.
