CanadaJustine was an outstanding host who took care of our every question and need while we were here, all with charm and a sense of humour. The pictures do not do the place justice; Well worth the money for the seaview apartment. A bit far from town (40 minute walk) but restaurants are willing to pick you up, hitch hitching was easy, and scooter rentals reasonable. Got to meet the artist himself who still lives in the top suite!

We stayed at an overwater bungalow at the end of the pontoon, and had the most beautiful lagoon we’ve ever seen to ourselves with a breathtaking views of mount otemanu. What made our stay truly special was the amazing staff who catered to our every need and exceeded our expectations in every possible way. This resort is the ultimate vacation for any couple who’s looking for a most romantic gateway in paradise. Thank you very much for making our stay so incredible and unforgettable.

It’s not you resort style stay so if you looking for that keep scrolling this is for the hippies and explorers at heart not saying you don’t get resort style accommodations you just don’t get the other folks around you!! I can’t thank the entire team enough seriously, I wired Tea months in advanced and was kinda scared doing so not going to lie….. but it was the best decision I’ve made to date for a stay out of the country and I WILL BE WIRING HER AGAIN!!!! Local hotel beach (on lagoon) right across the road, restaurant on site where you can eat on the beach. Excellent breakfast! The hotel provided transportation to/from Vaitape. Matira beach is walkable. A small store is walkable. Touring/snorkelling in the lagoon and nearby ocean are exceptional! There are 3 bungalows hidden in a kind of Botanical Garden with lots of statues and meandering foot-paths. The bungalow we stayed in was large and had an open kitchen and fining area that is well equipped with all amenities. The bathroom has a portion in open air which is out of the ordinary. Bora Bora is a slice of paradise. We rented a scooter for a day and saw the whole island. What was best was Rudolph at H2O was an amazing tour guide. Well worth the money. Our favourite place was on the lagoon. We hired a pontoon boat and spent a day on the water, one of the best experiences was snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It was great. Lots of different fish, coral gardens and many sea life. Water was crystal clear and vibrantly blues and greens. Views were endless. Swam at Matira Beach. Wish I could go back there.
