I seriously liked everything about this place! Especially the room, bed, pool, breakfast, staff, quietness. It’s really what you call a resort and there are so many nice details and professionalism about this resort. I do not understand how this place is not a 4 or 5 star resort! I really enjoyed it. This Gem is just awesome! I was there a few times for drinks & dinner and was finally able to book a room with my partner. Im not surprised their constantly sold out. This place is peace of mind and great for a couples retreat. The room and the view is awesome. The food is very good & high quality. The wine menu is showing that there is much knowledge and passion behind. The staff is super well trained and attentive. We loved it here and we will be back.

This property was one of the highlights during our stay in the Philippines. We loved the layout of the rooms on this property. It is actually nicer than the photos. The room was massive, including the bathroom. Very modern and clean too. Breakfast was good as well, a lot of variety to choose from. We just thought it was a bit absurd to be charged an extra 35 php for an extra slice of bread (wasn't expecting that). They also have laundry service available and is ready the next day. The place is around 7 minutes by motorbike from Alona beach and the main area. One can hire a motorbike from the property or else ask for a tricycle. Hiring a motorbike was very convenient for us to explore Bohol. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

It was the most memorable stay during our honeymoon. The place is extraordinary. You can hear only sound of the wind and the animals. The staff is the most carrying. We got sick and they were constantly asking if we are ok. I got so much peace there! The view from swimming pool is stunning. The place is far from touristic resorts and you can connect with locals. The location was fantastic and very peaceful. Having the diving facilities, Anda Diving, just down the road made it perfect!! We went diving every day and so many turtles, beautiful fish and coral. The hotel tried to be helpful any time. They even helpedl in arranging our direct transfer back to Panglao Island when we checked out, with their transport. We will definitely come back!! Special thanks to Charlene, Dawn, Chris and Ryan for taking such great care of us! Also all of the pool, and cleaning staff

The resort itself is beautiful. It is surrounded by wildlife and jungle. Our room was really big, bed was comfortable, food in the resort was really tasty. The pool was lovely and big! We spent 2 nights here and I would of stayed another couple of nights but we had to move on to the next place. The staff were so friendly and they even memorised our names which made us feel even more welcome. I will be recommending this resort to anyone who visits Bohol!

It's a perfect place. a hidden gem of a place. It's a good place to forget everything in the world and rest about once a year. The owners Fred, Alodia, and Brestine, and the staff are all kind, so I feel like I've been really well rested and treated. If we recommend too much, it seems like our own jewel-like resting place will disappear... Nevertheless,I really recommend this place.

There is really not much to do in Tagbilaran, only a statue, two churches and a square. It can be seen in an hour (and a half). Clubs, bars and restaurants have moved from Tagbilaran to Panglao - because that is where the most tourists are. If you want raw real Filippino life and people looking at you in surprise because you are there, go to Tagbilaran City, but leave your valuables in the hotel.

We had planned to do river trips but instead just did our own paddling on the river. The river isnt particularly special and it seems there are limitations to the trips (e.g. frequently you cant swim at the falls). It does have a strong current so be careful when in the water. The hotel provides a guide in case of difficulty. BTW: The Tarsier "sanctuary" was a massive disappointment. Just a photo op. Chocolate Hills platform gives a lovely view, but an hour is enough. We did these on the way to the hotel, so saved a day trip.

The advantage of being self-catering is that you can get European bread and sausages. As well good foreign Restaurants. Except for the area in Alona, ​​riding a motorcycle is very safe. Snorkeling and diving in Balicasag and Napaling Reef nice. Bohol daily trips anyway

Beautiful quiet natural beaches.

Beautiful quiet natural beaches. Fabulous for walks in either direction. Lovely friendly locals. Great wildlife. The plantation restaurant was really lovely and such a nice stroll along the beach to get to it. On the way home along the beach….in the dark lots of fire flies and beautiful twinkling stars!

An incredibly beautiful property—the garden is a delight. Lhoy and Jean welcome you to their home and treat you like family. Jean is a fabulous cook! Lhoy is very knowledgeable in horticulture and the healing properties of local fruits and herbs. I highly recommend the LhoyJean Garden Hostel.

We just stayed the one night in Carmen which was perfect as it allows you to see the chocolate hills (including at sunset) and also do any activities like the Adventure Park which was a highlight. It’s a small town so not a lot to do.

there are many nice beaches with clean water for the kids to play in. lots of interesting places to visit on Bohol and its only a short drive to Alona beach where there are plenty of eateries, bars and live music, there is excellent diving trips for experienced divers, hire a motorcycle and get around and see plenty, all in all an Island that is well worth a visit

Loboc is a beautiful place to stay because most of the well known attractions like Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruises, and the famous Tarsiers are all so close to Loboc. If you intend to see those places, Loboc is the best one!
