This hotel was great. We loved how comfortable and clean the room was. We organized a private full day tour with the hotel. Our guide was so friendly and made the tour memorable. I think you could find the tours cheaper outside of the hotel, but ours was so much fun. The restaurant was amazing, they really have everything in their buffet breakfast selection. The a la carte menu was even better, the Filipino food was so tasty. The hotel is in a great location and near a busy boardwalk that comes alive at night.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the time. Facility can’t be better with super awesome stunning views. Lovely cats sneaked in our terrace several times and looked innocent. They care animals a lot and recommended us to visit tarsier sanctuary instead of the other commercially managed park, which I did respect. Philippine breakfast is recommended.

It was the most memorable stay during our honeymoon. The place is extraordinary. You can hear only sound of the wind and the animals. The staff is the most carrying. We got sick and they were constantly asking if we are ok. I got so much peace there! The view from swimming pool is stunning. The place is far from touristic resorts and you can connect with locals. It was real rest time. Very private place and warm hearted staffs and boss. I’ve got transportation to the city safely and comfortely. They informed the English mass time, so we could attended the holy mass. The breakfirst option was simple and healthy. While we were swimming, the delicious pasta and icecream were serving near the pool. We did enjoy the meal and kind staff’s nice serving. During my stay, I have to go out for a tour at 7am. As I told my schedule, the staff kindly arranged eating time in my room. It was great! Thanks to Marquis, I fully enjoyed my first trip to Bohol.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Bohol. The hotel is beautiful, with an amazing pool and a very relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a huge family room that was beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable. The location is great, just a few minutes by tricycle/tuk-tuk from the main street, so it was easy to get around while still enjoying a quiet area. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Nice clean rooms. Many activities on offer eg: SUP , firefly watching. Appreciated that they help arrange tours, motor bikes , tuktuks without over charging. Silva, Irma, Chrissy were super responsive and friendly. The breakfast buffet had decent options with an egg station . The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. There is a second pool for those booking premiere rooms .

During our stay, the beach in Panglao wasn’t as clean or as pretty as the photos made it look—there was a lot of seaweed. But if you went a bit deeper into the water, it got super clear. The Virgin Island and the other islands we visited on our island hopping tour were absolutely beautiful though—crystal clear and amazing.

The chocolate hills are truly amazing, no wonder it is ranked 9th wonder of the world. The 7 km man made forest is beautiful. It will be nice if those trees are well protected and preserved, The mirror of the world is a plus, In a day, we were able to see the important landmarks of New York, Neitherland, Japan, Cambodia, Paris, etc. The floating resto was excellent. I enjoyed the cruise to the Loay River and the Ati -atihan tribe. We enjoyed the Bohol trip!

We had planned to do river trips but instead just did our own paddling on the river. The river isnt particularly special and it seems there are limitations to the trips (e.g. frequently you cant swim at the falls). It does have a strong current so be careful when in the water. The hotel provides a guide in case of difficulty. BTW: The Tarsier "sanctuary" was a massive disappointment. Just a photo op. Chocolate Hills platform gives a lovely view, but an hour is enough. We did these on the way to the hotel, so saved a day trip.

Beautiful quiet natural beaches.

Beautiful quiet natural beaches. Fabulous for walks in either direction. Lovely friendly locals. Great wildlife. The plantation restaurant was really lovely and such a nice stroll along the beach to get to it. On the way home along the beach….in the dark lots of fire flies and beautiful twinkling stars!

We just stayed the one night in Carmen which was perfect as it allows you to see the chocolate hills (including at sunset) and also do any activities like the Adventure Park which was a highlight. It’s a small town so not a lot to do.

The island has definitely become busier since we last...

The island has definitely become busier since we last visited but in a good way. A lot of good restaurants, from local to international, local transport, tricycle or tuktuk, are everywhere but the rates does not seem regulated. You need to ask the driver for the cost before getting in. Nonetheless, the water in Panglao Island is still pristine turquoise in color and clean.

There is really not much to do in Tagbilaran, only a statue, two churches and a square. It can be seen in an hour (and a half). Clubs, bars and restaurants have moved from Tagbilaran to Panglao - because that is where the most tourists are. If you want raw real Filippino life and people looking at you in surprise because you are there, go to Tagbilaran City, but leave your valuables in the hotel.

Loboc is a beautiful place to stay because most of the well known attractions like Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruises, and the famous Tarsiers are all so close to Loboc. If you intend to see those places, Loboc is the best one!
