The renovation has been expertly done, and respects the architecture and feel of the monastery, and the interior decoration and furnishings complement the architecture. The location is perfect, the staff more than helpful, the room spotless, and both dinner and breakfast delicious.

Czech RepublicIt was such a lovely experience overall, but what we remember the most is a very good sleep ( not sure if those were the cushions or the matraces that did the magic) very friendly and helpful stuff and tasty breakfast. The location was very convenient, couple of minutes away from the beach, the funicular with a good variety of restaurants around, and 10 min walking from the bus station.

The staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms are stylish and comfy, and the activities made my stay even better. You can walk around the property in a dedicated walking trail and go all the way down to one of the surrounding beaches. Recommend!

I’ve chose this place because I love beautiful architecture. And it really is! Building blend in the nature so beautifully.. we arrived quite late and tired so the bath before sleep had been such a relaxing experience after a long trip. Loved this place! Staff is kind and friendly too!

We spent a full 15 days in this apartment with our family,...
We spent a full 15 days in this apartment with our family, and it was one of the best holidays we can remember. The apartment turned out to be fully in line with the description – clean, spacious, and very well equipped, which really matters for such a long stay.
The location is truly excellent – close to the beach, shops, and restaurants, yet quiet enough to relax after a day of sightseeing or spending time at the beach. Our kids felt completely at home here, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable, extended stay.
The hosts were extremely kind and helpful throughout our entire stay – always available whenever a question or need came up. You could really feel that they genuinely care about their guests' comfort.
After these 15 days, we're leaving Peniche with a bit of sadness, but also with the certainty that we'll be back! We highly recommend this place to any family looking for the perfect home base for their holidays.

We love Óbidos, we take all our visitors there.
It was our third time at the Medieval Festival and unfortunately we found it extremely crowded.
It lost some of its charm with all the people packing the streets and dining areas.

Lourinha is just a simple, small town.
Lourinha is just a simple, small town. Pleasant enough but not much in the way of charm or appeal but apart from visits to Lidle didn't spend much time there. My main attraction was the butcher! Worth a visit alone.

Sao Martinho do Porto has a lovely long beach with calm waters and plenty of space for walking. There are many restaurants with excellent choice of dining to suit all tastes and budgets. It is great place for a relaxing holiday and great place for children to enjoy the calm waters of the sea there.

The beaches in Santa Cruz are astounding.
The beaches in Santa Cruz are astounding. The place isn’t very touristy, even at the end of August, and it feels pretty chill during that period as well. It’s easy to get around by car. It’s a perfect place to go surfing or just hang out with friends and relax. Keep in mind that the beaches can become unswimmable depending on the waves

a town with character and he’s just the right size for me. It has a pretty centre with so much within walking distance and with the advantage of a bike I could explore the edges of the city that seemed to have most large stores as one would expect for a town of that size.
On my bike this visit I spent hours getting lost and found on the many small backstreets where I always found people to talk to and redirect me when lost. A friendly place.
Great connections by bus and train, only an hour from Lisbon. And then a fabulous coast to explore by public transport or bicycle.
Lots of great places to sit on taking the scenery from town cafés to country restaurants I love it. For me. Caldas da Rainha really has the wow factor

I love this little laid back village.
I love this little laid back village. You can walk anywhere and there are many places to sit along the beach and enjoy wine for under 2 euros a glass - including Onadas Cafe, Oasis, and Restaurante Marisol. The beach is pristine and the water is blue. It's a lovely spot that I have returned back to now 4 times and have another trip planned this coming fall. We like to eat at Ala Norte and Cocos, as well as Tibino. On the main street, you can get the best take away chicken at Churrasqueira Galaruxo. Be sure to ask for Peri Peri with the chicken. YUM! For a relaxed breakfast coffee and croissant - try Confluencia. Also, be sure to watch for an evening of wine tasting at the wine bar in town - also on Main Street. Trombones is also a favorite local hangout with music and drinks.

It is in easy reach of visiting the walled town on Obidos, Baleal and Peniche. Beautiful sandy beaches but always beware of the time of the tides. There are plenty of taxis but transport is necessary to visit other areas. There are no local shops, the nearest is in Serra D'el Rai the next village. For bigger supermarkets you have to go to Obidos or Peniche.
