The Hotel is in the centre of São Martinho do Porto, just 600 metres from the popular bay area and 350 metres from the historical centre. The accommodation was lovely, it was in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and there was plenty to choose from.
Just 30 metres from the nearest beach and São Martinho do Porto Bay, Albergaria São Pedro offers rooms with cable TV and free Wi-Fi. The city of Nazaré is 9 km away. everything was wonderful! The service and breakfast were excellent! The location was perfect, we could see and hear the ocean from our room. To get to the beach, all you had to do was cross the street. The level of cleanliness was spectacular. We would love to stay again.
Offering a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the pool, Casa Godinho is located in São Martinho do Porto in the Centro Region, 11 km from Nazaré. Fátima is 42 km away. Generally above all expectations. Very family friendly environment. Very clean. The owners are fantastic human beings. We loved it. Will definitely get back.
Offering an outdoor swimming pool, Casa Boavista is located in São Martinho do Porto, 3 km from the centre. This holiday home is located within 200 metres of the Atlantic Ocean. The tranquility, cleanliness, everything was available in the house, peacefulness of the place. My daughter loved the trampoline and wanted to go there everytime. Pool absolutely lovely and close to our Cabana. We were upgrade and had the best Cabana. Hosts were friendly. The place was just what we needed
The Landmart hostess, Raquel, was outstanding, going way beyond the call of duty to guide us in and welcome us when we arrived many hours late due to transport problems. At the end of our visit she huided us on to the A8 back to Lisbon. The location is excellent within easy walki g distance of beach, amenities, restaurants and market. Having an immaculate pool on site was great on thevery hot afternoons. The unit was well equipped but dark and lacking a balcony.
It's a lovely place, with a good blend of touristy lodgings and real Portuguese inhabitants. The town is great in itself, and a very good base for daytrips to Nazaré, Óbidos, etc. One gets an array of both beach and countryside, with lots of different crops along the way and storks nests! Many restaurants, a number of small supermarkets and other places selling food, as well as a bigger supermarket, a great ice cream parlour, etc. In the evening, it is so nice to go for a stroll on the main road that runs parallel to the beach. One sees tourists, young people and families alike. There's not a sense of a holiday place where people go to to get drunk. One never grows bored.
São Martinho do Porto is a great place to enjoy the beach and relax. Walking distance from the food market is Bar Concha where you must try a pastry called trança (braid). The cinnamon and coconut versions are both delicious.
As I already said earlier, the physical shape of this virtually circular bay was something we had not seen anywhere before, and found it very attractive. The town has many apartment blocks which probably mean 'things' get very crowded in the summer - when our impressions were from a Spring visit. It is hard to see how these large numbers of people can be catered for, when there seem so few shops or other facilities for them to utilise.
Beautiful seaside location. Just right for a short holiday or for retirement. Easy walking distance to restaurants and cafes. The weather was perfect also. Local people were most helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed the seafood restaurant, which was close to our hotel.
Great little town, quiet and relaxing, only a few restaurants but good quality , very quiet after 9pm with most restaurants and bars closing but the beach in the day is fantastic not busy out of season
Bernardo is a charming and attentive host who gave us a warm welcome to this amazing refuge. We enjoyed the silence and the location where only the compound neighbours are residing and the clean pool. The accomodations offer ample space and authentic charme from their past and have enough modern upgrades to make cooking and living easier. We are definitely looking to come back someday.
We were very impressed by the quality of the furnishings of the apartment and its location close to bars, restaurants and not being over far from the beach. As retired people, staying on the 2nd floor, we very much appreciated that there was a lift. The cleanliness of the apartment was most impressive, as were the quantities of additional bedding, towels etc.
Location and access is spot on. The views are probably the best ones in Sao Martinho. The property is very spacious. Bedrooms are comfy and decorated in style. The terrace/s are the cherry on top, with amazing views over the ocean. Really nice extras such as the tumble drier and dehumidifier.
Location was good -- a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach at Sao Martinho. And the breakfast was very good. It was a reasonable value, given the high prices of hotels closer to the beach Bed and bathroom seemed clean and bed was comfortable.
Perfect location, close to the beach Spacious and comfortable apartment for a family of 4 Internet connection and cable TV is very nice Apartment opened with door code is practical
New apartment in a small complex, well located for beach, supermarket and restaurants. Comfortably furnished and laid out.
Location great, breakfast good, we had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel, which was very nice too.
location very clean spacious terrace with afternoon sun
everything was wonderful! The service and breakfast were excellent! The location was perfect, we could see and hear the ocean from our room. To get to the beach, all you had to do was cross the street. The level of cleanliness was spectacular. We would love to stay again.
The location, the line of sight for the bay, the good wifi connection.
