We stayed at Ursa Mica Glamping Resort for two nights in a tent, and it was an amazing experience. The resort is peaceful, with breathtaking views and delicious food at the restaurant. Even though our second day was rainy, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They even offered to upgrade us to a room, but we chose to stay in the tent, and they provided extra firewood free of charge. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway!

If you want a design and renovated hotel this is not the place for you. I loved the retro and authentic 80s atmosphere, it is located in a unique place with great nature, on the lake, spotlessly clean, with kind staff, nice restaurant and absolute quiet. Be careful what car you go with because it has a 7km dirt rough road.

For such a majestic location, I did not expect to have amenities as spa and a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was great, especially the fresh water melon and the mineral water available everywhere. Communication in english was great.

my main interest was in the Sf Nicolae Church of the...

my main interest was in the Sf Nicolae Church of the Valachian princes, dating from 14th c, one of the oldest in our country and with great old frescoes inside and the ruins of a valachian princes court (Curtea Domneasca) nearby. there is still to visit "Manastirea Argesului", the church housing the remains of the romanian kings, but as it was completely rebuilt in the 19th century my interest for it's architecture is lower. Curtea de Arges is a small town very easy to get around. most restaurants are on the main street and I could find some take-away even in late evening. the town is a good starting point to cross the mountains on Transfagarasean, a high altitude and spectacular street over the Carpathians but also for a journey in the hill land below the mountains in the counties of Arges and Dambovita.

Although known for Dacia, also the cultural environment is good. When I was in autumn, there was an autumn fair. Now, the Christmas fair. I cannot wait that the museum opens. The villages around are also interesting (Stefanesti, Golesti, Mioveni).

Wonderful small town (population approximately 30,000)...

Wonderful small town (population approximately 30,000) located in the Carpathian mountains. Many restaurants to choose from. No "mainline" hotels; however, many pensions with wonderfully quaint rooms and restaurants. Short drive to mountain areas with hiking and river activities.

The host was so kind we would stay again just because of his kindness. Google maps took us to the wrong place so use apple maps to get there. The host sent pictures to help us find where to park. It is on the main road. Very easy once you know where to go.

The location was perfect, the house amazing with all the commodities, everything amazing. Very nice the background, clean, the breakfast just perfect and also the staff, nice and gently. The only small problem, the internet connection doesn’t work well in the room, although they have different free wifi and you have to change them every time in order to catch the good connection, but definitely it was an amazing experience, everything as you see in the pictures, maybe even better.

Place to eat: Curtea Veche and Pastravaria Zavoi (they have a child playing area open space). Visit: Manastirea Argesului, Manastirea Corbii de Piatra and climb on the trail to see the village from the top of the hill, Nucsoara Lake - very quiet and peaceful, Barajul Vidraru (you can see bear on the road) Place for the kids bad weather: Edyvers Kids Nice place to drink arizanal beer: Rock Beer Pub near THR Hotel Shopping: Kayfland / Lidl for food - many others stores

Pitesti is very clean and has everything you need, great...

Pitesti is very clean and has everything you need, great beauty & spa services and great access to shops and malls. The forest (Padurea Trivale) is a short walk from the centre and a big beautiful park (Lunga Argesului) is also within walking distance from the centre, people are very nice, respectful and the travel connections (bus) are well thought and can take you everywhere you need. The sense of community and the cleanness of the city are also great!

4 generation, 5 adults and one toddler and a baby, enjoyed the weekend stay at Three Poneys, Cirbeni, Arges County, Romania. Highly recommended place to enjoy with family and friends, hold birthday parties or spend some time in the nature.

Very nice town, nice people.

Very nice town, nice people. We managed to visit the monastery and in the evening there was a national event so it was very nice. I think that within the limits of our time we covered the main thing. I think it was possible to have more fun in the town.
