NetherlandsEverything is truly great! This is an exceptional accommodation recently opened, and everything looks and feels brand new. There is great taste in the decorations, Nature themed, with plants nicely decorating each space. The room was very clean, with an amazing mountain view. The restaurant has tasty food, with plenty of fine dining choices and big portions. There are a sauna and jacuzzi available. We felt great even though we only stayed a night. The staff is accommodating and making sure everything is as expected, very hospitable and funny.

SwitzerlandThis might just be the best hotel around. We booked the suite with mountain view. The quality of the rooms was exceptional, the spa area was just perfect and breakfast was excellent. The location is not exactly central but this makes it definitely more quiet and better suited for a relaxing stay.

Everything was really fine, and I will share my experience with my friends who want to visit Transylvania.
The host was really pleasant and welcoming, leaving an impression of that you're not the tourist, but the house guest. Room was spacious, clean, warm, with the great view. Breakfast was nicely tailored (everybody could find something interesting for itself). Restaurant terrace was perfectly positioned to enable beautiful view. The library in the loft is a place where you can stay for hours enjoying the books or the 360' view. Location is quiet, about 1.5 km to Bran castle, and the castle is visible from the most of facility's premises and guest rooms.

Absolutely clean rooms, friendly staff, ideal distance from Bran Castle, only 10minutes by foot, very quite place.. You can find here perfect relax, big clean dayroom, absolutely clean rooms and bathrooms, perfectly equipped shared kitchen, 2 really big fridges.. New jacuzzi with clean water, a lot of sitting outside with awnings and umbrellas,, grill, cauldron, sitting over the stream! We felt like at home.. We was really satisfied and surpised how quality can be accommodation in Romania. 100% reccomend, many greetings to the owner!

Already the road to the village is an adventure, the nature is just outstandingly beautiful. The owner is very nice, helpful and caring. The apartment is beautiful with an extraordinary view onto the mountains. The apartment was well equipped and internet worked well if you need it - I had to attend a virtuelle conference and the internet connection allowed me to participate with a Mountain view. I will definitely return - I simply felt in love with the area.

We had a truly fantastic stay at the Carpathian Log Home. The property is stunning, with exceptional views out over the mountains. The accommodation was perfect for our group and the chalet was warm and cozy. We stayed over Christmas and it was wonderfully decorated with a large Christmas tree and small thoughtful touches everywhere. Emanuela was an excellent host - and the property was well equipped. We would come back in a heartbeat!

The view was breathtaking, it was like a fairytale because it snowed and we had wine near the campsite and the folk music was perfect for that evening ..."a venit iarnaaa".
Moreover the kids had a lot of activities during the day, too many I would say to choose from - it is exhausting for the parents to go to all of them...

The property has a very nice location, in a quiet area, still in walking distance from the centre. The restaurant is exceptional, with delicious food choices, and a great selection for the breakfast. The room was clean and super cosy, the staff very friendly and helpful.

Based on some reviews of Bran (basically Bran Castle and the...
Based on some reviews of Bran (basically Bran Castle and the surrounding area) I expected it might have been a place that could have been dropped from our list of places to visit. Some people say the castle isn't particularly worthwhile. I disagree. If you get past the Dracula theme there is much history associated with castle. It is truly interesting and has inspired me to research the history of the castle and it's occupants over the years.
We opted to add a visit to the part of Bran Castle that addresses methods of torture utilized over the centuries. It causes one to reflect on the nature of humanity, to consider how far society had come and also how much further we need to go. All in all this was a very worthwhile use of our time.

Great small village, lots of places to visit nearby, be it the great city of Brasov, the Bran Castle or the bear sanctuary in Zarnesti. Or of course hiking in the Piatra Craiului mountains which are really impressive both for the views provided and forcthe hiking trails.

The road to the location was no for the faint hearted, the location is actually in the real mountain area. Don't expect a perfect road to the location, because that would take the out the whole charm.

Every restaurant was great, the bar about the bottom of the castle was fantastic. Cant fault anywhere as all staff are always happy to help

Excellent small village, scattered on a slope, with south exposition, great view on Piatra Craiului and Bucegi mountains, with many hiking and mountain biking options. If you want peace and quiet here you have it.
