NetherlandsEverything is truly great! This is an exceptional accommodation recently opened, and everything looks and feels brand new. There is great taste in the decorations, Nature themed, with plants nicely decorating each space. The room was very clean, with an amazing mountain view. The restaurant has tasty food, with plenty of fine dining choices and big portions. There are a sauna and jacuzzi available. We felt great even though we only stayed a night. The staff is accommodating and making sure everything is as expected, very hospitable and funny.

BulgariaBran Castle is also known as Dracula's Castle but there is no real link with either the historical or fictional Dracula. Nevertheless, the view from the hotel is spectacular. The hotel's restaurant is very good: try the platter of local cheeses with the Fume Blanc white wine. (Unlike in the UK, a cheese board is considered to be a starter in Romania.) Breakfast was huge - I think we only managed to eat about 30% of it. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Off-street parking is available at the back of the hotel.

The village of Măgura is one of the last true fairy-tale places left — every corner, every traditional house, every view feels enchanted. The studio is perfectly located at the end of a quiet dead-end street, on top of a hill, offering breathtaking views of both the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi mountains.
The studio itself is spotless and decently equipped with everything you might need for cooking. The bed is large and comfortable, and the bathroom is surprisingly good — strong water pressure, perfect temperature, everything works perfectly. The place is also very warm and cozy, which feels great after a day spent hiking.
I brought my dog since pets are welcome, and we truly felt that — plenty of space to roam and no restrictions from the host. Speaking of the host, Vlad was genuinely welcoming, helpful, and always available when needed, yet discreet enough to give full privacy.

Absolutely clean rooms, friendly staff, ideal distance from Bran Castle, only 10minutes by foot, very quite place.. You can find here perfect relax, big clean dayroom, absolutely clean rooms and bathrooms, perfectly equipped shared kitchen, 2 really big fridges.. New jacuzzi with clean water, a lot of sitting outside with awnings and umbrellas,, grill, cauldron, sitting over the stream! We felt like at home.. We was really satisfied and surpised how quality can be accommodation in Romania. 100% reccomend, many greetings to the owner!

The view of Bran Castle from our balcony was fantastic, more so at night when it was lit up. The staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast options were varied, and the portions were large - although delicious, we couldn't finish them. The hotel is well-situated is the town, being close to everything a tourist wants to see. Highly recommendable.

The room was stunning. Actually it looked more like an apartment than a room. Comfortable living room with plenty of space, nice views of the garden while it was snowing, cozy bedroom with a window on the ceiling, 2 fully equipped bathrooms. Very nice breakfast. Kind receptionist even though his English was really poor.

Beautiful location with amazing views. Cabin looks great like in the pictures, room very nice, comfortable beds, all rooms have local elements.

Based on some reviews of Bran (basically Bran Castle and the surrounding area) I expected it might have been a place that could have been dropped from our list of places to visit. Some people say the castle isn't particularly worthwhile. I disagree. If you get past the Dracula theme there is much history associated with castle. It is truly interesting and has inspired me to research the history of the castle and it's occupants over the years.
We opted to add a visit to the part of Bran Castle that addresses methods of torture utilized over the centuries. It causes one to reflect on the nature of humanity, to consider how far society had come and also how much further we need to go. All in all this was a very worthwhile use of our time.

Great small village, lots of places to visit nearby, be it the great city of Brasov, the Bran Castle or the bear sanctuary in Zarnesti. Or of course hiking in the Piatra Craiului mountains which are really impressive both for the views provided and forcthe hiking trails.

The room was pretty large and clean, however, the bathroom lacked proper ventilation and illumination in the shower area.

Every restaurant was great, the bar about the bottom of the castle was fantastic. Cant fault anywhere as all staff are always happy to help

Excellent small village, scattered on a slope, with south exposition, great view on Piatra Craiului and Bucegi mountains, with many hiking and mountain biking options. If you want peace and quiet here you have it.
