From the moment | arrived I was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The level of cleanliness was exemplary throughout the property and the housekeeping team deserves special recognition for their excellent work. The food was excellent with plenty of choices for everyone , the beach is very close to the hotel,making it easy to enjoy the Sea whenever you want. Guests also have 1 h access to the SPA which is exceptionally clean , well organised and perfect for relaxation.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Sulina in Mamaia. Everything exceeded our expectations! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The hotel was spotless, and the cleanliness was impeccable throughout our stay. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of fresh and tasty dishes. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach. The hotel offers outstanding value for money, making it a perfect choice for a relaxing holiday. We highly recommend Hotel Sulina and will definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The location of the hotel is perfect, great views from the room balcony. The hotel is one of the closer to the beach with loungers included, also drinks available for the beach if you have the all-inclusive package. Very relaxing and good atmosphere. I found all hotel staff to be friendly, helpful and polite. Good food and drink options available throughout the day. The hotel is great family friendly environment and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Really enjoyed the beach here, very relaxing, good loungers, sand and sea clean and friendly.

As a family with two kids under two, beforehand we were worried whether the place would satisfy our needs but everything was perfect. We stayed in an apartment with sea view that offered us amazing sunrises. The apartment was spotless clean and Ms Alexandrina, who was responsible for the cleaning on the 6th floor, ensured all our requests were met. The restaurant had a good variety of dishes and we were happy with all the meals we had there. We will gladly return!

It is a cozy boutique hotel that helps to detach from crowded Mamaia-Nord. The hotel is very clean and modern. The staff is very friendly. Mostly young people speaking fluent English. The pool is very nice, 140cm deep, quite, and clean. It was never too crowded. Restaurant tables are located inside the building and at the pool in the yard, which makes the hotel a perfect place to relax during the day.

Fantastic room with great view! The reception staff (Raluca) really helpful and accommodating Restaurant (Ana Maria) was very accommodating with some of my requests and the team at breakfast was great. Florin (the head of beach staff) was really nice and helpful.

Lovely place with good beaches, cable-car, a "Vacation" village with all kinds of restaurants, terraces, supermarkets, hotels, Luna Park, etc. with reasonable prices and friendly people. Oh, and the Sky View Bar on the rooftop of Park hotel, absolutely fantastic! )

I would not recommend Mamaia, Mamaia Nord, or Navodari for a vacation or leisure getaway. The entire seaside area has become excessively commercialized, overcrowded, and extremely expensive, while offering relatively little in terms of genuine hospitality or value for money. Unfortunately, there seems to be far more focus on maximizing profits than on creating a pleasant experience for visitors. Considering the high prices, the overall level of service and attention to travelers’ comfort falls well short of expectations. For a relaxing seaside holiday and a truly memorable stay, I would recommend considering other destinations.

A good location for families with kids - plenty of...

A good location for families with kids - plenty of accessible restaurants, cantinas, grocery shops. There is only one ramp access point to the beach (South, near Belona). All the others are stairs - some in a very rough shape. You will have a hard time getting to the beach with a stroller or in a wheelchair. And going up and down the stairs every day will soon make you wish you got a hotel nearer to the beach. In the places where the beach has been extended (the entire beach with the exception of the North side, near Delfinul/Steaua de Mare), the sand is mixed with broken sea shells, not fun to walk on, hard to play with. The best thing about Eforie is the sea - it is usually very clear, mild waves, smooth sand with no rocks, very slow descent that allows even young kids to stand up in the water for up to five-10 metres from the beach line. Sure, sometimes there may be algae, medusas or small crabs after a storm, but most of the time this is where you'll find the best water on the Romanian sea side. In terms of restaurants, we always favored Mirage and Terasa cu Ancore, in the North; in 10+ years of going with small kids, these were the places where we never had issues with bad food.

Neglected green spaces, full of weeds and litter. The way to the beach is via some seemingly unfinished stairs, very steep, old, very hard to go down and climb back up, which were probably built as a temporary solution when the resort was first established. Buildings scattered left and right, with no architectural coherence, many without enough parking spaces.

Hotel was very ok, but Neptun was not so clean, amenities were poor, it is a pitty because with some minor investments in green spaces, clean services, parking around beach, beach clean up could, could have a very beautiful and attractive destination, as it was years ago.

Spent only a day there; do not recommend. There isn't much to see, the shipwreck is not interesting in my opinion. The walkway has no trees so it is very uncomfortable to walk in the sun without and greenery. The beach is fully packed with parasoles and people, way too crowded and aesthetically not pleasing at all. Drank a coffee at Mangole coffee kiosk, the owner is sweet and the coffee was nice. The whole town is unkempt, weed grows everywhere, the buildings and roads are not very nice unfortunately. I wouldn't recommend people to visit this town, just go to another coast and if you insist on Romania, stick with Constanta.

Mangalia is a quaint little town, and what I believe, the hidden gem of the Romanian litoral. A place for all, families with children, young couples, or friends having a little vacation. Mamaia has a nice and spacious beach, but unfortunately some areas are poorly maintained. In several places, construction materials and leftovers from works carried out by entrepreneurs are simply left lying on or near the beach. For one of Romania's best-known tourist destinations, this creates a very poor impression. The town hall should pay much more attention to the overall appearance of the resort and ensure that businesses keep the beach and surrounding areas clean and presentable. Mamaia deserves to look like the major tourist destination it is supposed to be, especially because it is quite expensive.
