Lampang is a great little city and the hotel is in a fantastic spot right near the market and the park with an exercise track that locals head to in the evening. The owner was very helpful and sorted a taxi to the Sky Pagodas (we got there early and it was well worth it). The rooms are a good size, clean and the beds are large doubles. There is a good area with cutlery and crockery for sitting and having breakfast.

The owner is a great lady with class and style. She speaks fluently English. She and her wonderful secretary will do whatever they can to make you feel good. The hotel offers a luxury car with driver to bring you to the places you like to visit. If you want to taste Thai hospitality in an historical building with a lot of history and beautiful antique furniture this is definitely the place you should go. Great Thai breakfast in the morning and every morning something else. Located at 50 meter from the railway station on the line Bangkok Chiang Mai.

perfect for the 1 night stay I had in Lampang. Hotel was very clean and tidy. Breakfast provided was good. The price was amazing. 10 minute walk from the train station and 5 minute to Big C shopping mall. Plenty of good places to eat nearby and coffee shops.

The location is great. Center Lampang and easy access from the highway. The staff are welcoming, waiting for us late into the evening. The check in was a breeze and the receptionist spoke very good English. We ordered breakfast for the next day and it came out in good order at 7am. Very comfortable beds and aircon worked the entire time. Very clean room and the beer from the on site restaurant was the best I’ve had in Thailand. Icy cold and super friendly staff. Everything is super clean and spacious. Perfect for a young family of 4.

The room was huge, with a stunning view over Lampang and the mountains. Every sunset and sunrise was spectacular, we were lucky to see several of them. The wi-fi was good, the shower was nice, and the armchair was comfy. Close to the night market, just over the footbridge. The bed was so big and comfy, we slept amazing.

The room was clean and comfortable. The little balcony gave a good view of the city. We had a little fridge to keep water cool and any food in. The staff were very helpful and despite the language barrier went above and beyond to help with booking excursions and giving recommendations.

Lamphun is a small town with friendly, smiling people everywhere. If I visit Thailand again, I’d love to come back and stay longer. Walking around the town, you can see many temples and experience the local charm.

If you want authentic Thailand then Lampang is the place...

If you want authentic Thailand then Lampang is the place visit. It is away from the tourist hotspots the people are coming and friendly and always have a smile for you. I found this cafe called Glint that is run by a lovely young couple can I highly recommend it food is excellent and the prices are amazing. Lots of temples local flora and fauna and most of all they don’t overcharge all in all its a lovely town.

I found a lot of the locals to be quite stand offish with white people. It was the only town we visited that felt like that in all of northern thailand. for that reason, I would not come back to Lampang.
