This was the best Resot I have ever been to. I do fancy holidays every year but the Retreat was without a doubt the best Hotel I ever visited. Firstly this place is aesthetic as fuck. Perfectly designed, beautiful plants everywhere and just a very very nice vibe where you always feel private. The Breakfast: Absolutely Amazing. You get to choose between more than 3 Pages of Gournet Breakfast choices which all taste delicious! The View is also perfect! The Personal is very friendly and you feel very welcomed. Room: Absolutely perfect. Location: Right in the Center where you need to be. Just overall a perfect experience. We from Room 816 thank you guys for this amazing Experience. Kindest Regards, Aramas

Most amazing place, located in the beautiful jungle on the side of the mountain. Incredible view on the sea beneath, beautiful sunsets. The Owner Ben is an absolute legend, super friendly, helpful and always got a good story up his sleeve. He also makes very good drinks.

we came to this resort in 2014 . back then it was just simple bungalows with no pool but I remember it had such amazing vibe I decided I need to visit it one day again . so we came back now ( March 2023 ) and it had the same chilled vibe as I remembered . the staff even remembered me which was sweet :) the property is lovely with big pool and it’s right on the very nice Lonely beach . Rooms are Suoer comfortable ( though tad small so if you want more space , be sure to book poolside villas ) For us it was ok , we were two adults and a child . bathrooms are nice and spacious .staff is lovely and very helpful . their restaurant and bar is nice with plenty of amazingly delicious dishes to choose from big menu . definitely would recommend their Tom yum soup but we tried many dishes in ten days we stayed there and everything was super delicious . we would definitely come back again

We are staying at this hotel for the second year in a row and we are extremely happy with our experience. The rooms are bright and cozy, and they have everything you might need for a comfortable stay: a fridge, bathrobes, slippers, towels including beach towels. Our room had a lovely terrace with a table, chairs and a drying rack, which made the stay even more convenient. The hotel grounds are beautiful, and the pool is wonderful, perfect for relaxing when you don’t feel like going to the beach. There is access to the beach, but it is not the safest, especially in the evening, so it is better to swim in another beach area nearby. Keep in mind that beach bags for towels are not provided. We would also like to thank the staff for being incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Their attentiveness made our experience even better.

They have Laser and Hobie cat sailing boats to rent! Beautiful little spots (hammocks, sun loungers, big rocks to sit on, etc.) that enabled a very relaxing way to hang out watching the sailboats and sunsets. Excellent value for money especially when you factor in the complimentary breakfast and free taxi shuttle to the Ao Nid (Boonsiri) pier. But excellent value for money just based on the bungalow and property too. Super unique and enjoyable pool. Just wish the pool was open later to cool off in after dinner (they currently close to pool at 6 pm which seems super early to me for a pool that isn't lifeguarded anyway). Off the end of the pier, they also have a sunken motorcycle, golf cart, and car along with some coral nurseries that are fun to snorkel around when the water visibility is good. Just watch out for the sea urchins.

Beach line is just a few steps away from the beachfront room, gorgeous sunsets guaranteed. The view from the breakfast restaurant is also spectacular. Reserve rooms are nice and new. Lots of goos restaurants nearby, you can order a tuktuk at reception to get there. When the water level is low you can get there on foot in 10-15 mins through the beach

What I've seen was fantastic.

What I've seen was fantastic. In so many ways, there are a lot of fun hideaways...that you can't mention them all. Feel free to get lost often. I know I did and loved it. After dark on a cycle...not as much. But day time...just go for it! Don't forget to stop by some of the road side restaurants for your favorite drink.

Beautiful island, very chill seclude, not too much touristic, but has everything you need. Cute cafes, a lot of amazing restaurants, quiet and pristine beaches. You can also take a boat to Koh Kham, it’s beautiful! Very easy, ticket only 350 baht.

There just isn't very much to do.

There just isn't very much to do. We needed a night stopover before going to the island and our hotel was nice. Had a tasty pad-thai from the one place that was open and a couple of beers from a very nice bar next to a May-Thai gym. The few streets around the river are lovely and you do get the sense that you're suddenly away from all the tourists and in real Thailand. It is also extremely hot so not particularly pleasant to walk around either. At 8pm everything was shut down, including the night market.

Sylvan is vertical resort and beautiful. They do a great job helping you get around. Expensive but you get your moneys worth. Great staff, great views, Santhiya Tree was impressive but probably looked really nice 8 years ago. Over priced, hard to find. No sign to long entrance road. Restaurant named Apple Kitchen at entrance was great and very inexpensive. I’m 80 and my wife is 83. They gave us the top floor with no elevator. Steps are uneven in height so be careful. A real workout. Breaks my heart to see the wood rotting from neglect. Next resort is Lagoon Prince. Stayed here many times. Old resort, good value, closer to ferry. White Sand Beach is great at night. Food up the beach at Soul & Sand is excellent. Every resort on the beach has a good vibe. From high end to very economy.

Koh Mak is quite small but beautiful and has a lot of nature. Good kick-boxing school. Variety of good eating places Koh Mak seafood being one of them. It is far more relaxed than Koh Chang with less to do but I actually found the peacefulness and serenity more alluring. The people are friendly and it has a up early sleep when the sunsets kind of vibe but also if you want to be out later you can. There are some very picturesque beaches and bars. Also a variety of takes on food By the sea has great sandwiches etc. If the weather turns bad then this is when the boredom may be an issue. However I loved the thunderstorms and lightening shows. Best I had ever seen.

Make sure you stay in town.

Make sure you stay in town. There is no night life, but Trat has great food and a wonderful market. Getting around Trat is not easy, you will have to walk. There are moto taxis but not always where you need them.

Ko chang is a hidden jewel, lots to do and see with other amazing islands to visit. Worth 4 nights stay on anyones itenary. Good viewpoints beaches and bars, much more laid back than pattaya but still things to do. We ve enjoyed the island and would come again

Koh Kood is a genuine hidden gem.

Koh Kood is a genuine hidden gem. The tropical beaches have crystal clear water and there are some great snorkeling spots if you look hard enough. Make sure you get down to The Fisherman Hut and mention Whimsical Tricycle to the owner, Tom. He will know what you mean. Enjoy! But keep it secret. Keep it safe.
