Cheap. Clean. At the foot of the castle. Friendly staff. A place with character. Prayer room.

The staff was very helpful with an amazing personality. The location is also very nearby in walking distance to major sites. Rooms and lobby area are also kept clean throughout the day.

The hotel is new, modernly furnished with all amenities and always clean and warm. The staff is kind, helpful and attentive to the guests. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious.

Staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Chef Emrah was especially helpful and spoke good English which made everything from ski hire to special requests much smoother. Staff went above and beyond to help, offering rides to/from the hotel to the ski lifts (which is usually just a 2 minute walk), took on suggestions for breakfast/dinner options, and accommodated late checkout. Staying at Balsoy was like staying at a second home, highly recommend.
