This journey was the most surprising aspect of my stay in Cappadocia. Firstly, its geographical location is extremely advantageous, with almost all the attractions being very convenient. Moreover, it only takes ten minutes to walk to see the night view.What surprised me the most was that I met an employee of this hotel（ Farshid Sarwary☺️☺️ ） He is not only sincere in treating people, but also very enthusiastic in his work. He is also very energetic and kind. Choosing this hotel is the luckiest thing for me. I hope all travelers to Cappa can choose this hotel

As I leave Göreme and Cappadocia, I look back at the five wonderful nights we spent at Olivia Cave Hotel—truly among the most beautiful nights of our trip. The hotel is charming, very family-friendly, and everyone there goes above and beyond to help the guests. A special thanks to Gencay, who helped us arrange everything—from the hot air balloon to the other activities in Cappadocia. We were extremely lucky to fly the balloon on our first day, especially since it was canceled on the following days due to weather conditions. Gencay and his brother were very kind and supportive, helping calm our fears and encouraging us to take the flight—and we’re so glad we did. He was always friendly, polite, and respectful, and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast deserves a special mention. It was a warm, family-style breakfast, freshly prepared every morning with great care. You can truly feel the homemade touch and the love behind every dish, which made each morning start in a cozy and authentic way. I also want to mention his father, who was incredibly warm and kind. He said goodbye to us last night as if we were part of the family. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone I know visiting Cappadocia, and I will certainly stay here again on my next trip.

Great hotel situated around 10-15 minutes walk to centre of Goreme (where you can find the main bus stop and atms). Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and restocking of water bottles. Highly recommend their Turkish breakfast spread. The front desk staff was very helpful, helped me book the balloon tour and the green tour. I was very pleased with the price I got for the balloon tour. I only saw that price in one other place online. But booking with the hotel makes the refund process easier if your tour gets cancelled (didn’t happen to me). Will fully recommend this place to my friends visiting in future.

It's an amazing property with extremely helpful and jovial staff. Rooms are well equipped and present you with a unique blend of modern amenities with cave enclaves, break fast spread was quite excellent, with most of the stuff freshly baked and cooked. The hotel and rooms are clean, staff is extremely helpful, and they ensure they go out of the way to make your stay a memorable one The hotel is peaceful and is slightly away from the main centre so you might find it difficult to venture out for dinner, alternatively dinner at the hotel is quite delicious and freshly made.. Mr.Burhan, at the reception services, is extremely helpful. He assisted us in booking a few of the tours at short notice.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We were checked in earlier than the official time and were even invited to enjoy breakfast without any extra charges. The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to help, and they assisted us with organizing excursions and the airport transfer. The hotel is located at the highest point, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings. The restaurant is fantastic, and the breakfasts were varied and absolutely delicious. The hotel is really museum, situated in the caves and ancient buildings. Amazing view, amazing rooms, perfect service. At the hotel they have 2 gardens, tutrttels and hot swimming pool, it is very pleasant at the cold times. You can also have breakfast at the terrace watching the baloons every morning. The staff provides you excellent service every minute. Nice restaurant.

A place of exceptional historical value. So much to see.

A place of exceptional historical value. So much to see. You need to book tours to take you as all the sites are spread out. The guides are good. The balloons are a must and hiking the valleys. We found the evening best time to hike due to the heat and the light. Everyone is so mannerly and helpful.

Stunning location dominated by the amazing Uchisar castle. However, the authorities really need to be careful not to overdevelop it, which seems to be happening at quite a rate. They should also establish some rules on noise pollution. On Friday and Saturday nights, there is a venue that blasts loud live music till 1am in the morning, which is really unacceptable.

Hot air balloon rides to bustling decent crowd in the evenings, the place has an awesome vibe. You can enjoy the nature and man-made recreational experiences alike. A must Go To location for the families and friends alike.

Get a private guide and avoid the massive crowds.

Get a private guide and avoid the massive crowds. Stay in a smaller village around Urgup. Try to stay in a 'cave' type facility, it adds to the adventure. Get out of the mainstream and visit the smaller, lesser known sites. There are more underground cities than the two main ones that are besieged by bus people. Try the one in Mazi, the staff is wonderful, parking easy and the village great to visit. The smaller villages offer so much more culture and lesser crowds.

It is a lovely small town next to Goreme (famous for the hot air balloon rides and pointed rock structures) so its a short ride away with none of the hustle and bustle of a touristy town. It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

We stayed in Ortahisar during our visit to Cappodocia.

We stayed in Ortahisar during our visit to Cappodocia. It was the right speed for our family, we could walk around and explore in safety and felt like we were in places that reflected the history of the region, not like the major commercial zoo that is Goreme. It's a small place, but had what we needed for our 4 days stay, multiple restaurants, coffee shops, markets. The people were welcoming and it was one of our favorite stops on our trip.

The old civilization and their remains is a main attraction.. the monk valley view is good and caves of this city is lovey to watch .. night dance live show is wonderful .. u can have a green tour there if u want to explore more about the city .. and hot air balloon is one of the main attraction of cappadocia…

The views, the sunset, the hot air balloon ride is not to be missed. The place is however expensive given Goreme being a touristic hotspot. USD, Euros, and pounds are often the preferred currency to do business.

Amazing- stayed 3 nights, we managed to do the Balloons and...

Amazing- stayed 3 nights, we managed to do the Balloons and also a guided tour. Its well worth staying at least 3 nights to do the guided tours and take time to walk around and have nice dinners in the restaurants.
