Staff. They helped with a balloon flight, and other companies said that there were no places. Allowed to pay for the flight after the deadline, it was very nice because I went there by car and could not be earlier. They were kind and friendly. arrangement and atmosphere. In the room there are a lot of antique things, and all this is furnished with style. at the same time, all the amenities in the room are modern, especially the bathroom. The inner yard of the hotel looks very atmospheric. A good place to seat speak and enjoy atmosphere and life. Nice breakfast. Around hotel lots of restaurants, groceries etc.

I’ll try not being formal, so here it goes. 1. You don’t feel like a guest here. You are part of the family and everyone treats you like that, they share their food, make you meet their family and never say NO for anything that you ask from them. 2. The entire crew goes out of their way to make your experience in Cappadocia the best. 3. The crew also helps in getting the best experiences ( like Red and green tours, hot air balloon, Turkish nights, etc) 4. It’s like they want you to experience the best of everything, especially for those who do not want to go all commercial tourist style. Their style is local and that’s EXACTLY what you want. 5. The breakfast made by Ahmet’s wife is just fab! There is such a lavish spread in the morning and it’s healthy! You’ll be energetic the whole day. 6. At the end, we didn’t just get the best of Cappadocia , but we got the memories and friends that will remain for a lifetime. 7. We got a room upgrade for just €20 to a room with a jacuzzi. The room was superb. NEAT, CLEAN, sufficiently Stocked with all essentials and air conditioned. Thanks to everyone - Ahmet - the most energetic, humble, kind and helpful brother. Being the owner, he not only works in the daily tasks of the hotel, but also spends time with the guests like his own family. He even took me and my friend for a lunch treat to one of the best restaurants in Cappadocia on our last day. Mahir - the most kind and helpful person . Even before I went to turkey, Mahir got in touch with me and helped me with all my transfers and bookings (tours, rented a bike, room upgrade) to make sure I have no trouble finding our way to the hotel. He was also helping in translation of soo much language. Berkay- the brother with whom I made a true brotherhood bond. He took us around in his car, made us meet his friends over some exotic wine tasting, hung out with us while watching the most beautiful sunsets. He’s such an amazing guy to know and be with.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Mira Cappadocia hotel. From start to finish the service was excellent. Prior to arrival the hotel kindly arranged all the activities I had requested and the airport transfer, which was paid for during our stay. The owner was kind, friendly and attentive, as were all the staff. They could not have done more to make sure we were looked after. The activities we booked were varied and were fun and informative. The facilities were spot on. Lovely clean and comfortable rooms with all the basics you would need. The rooms were tastefully decorated and there were nice outdoor sitting areas. The breakfast room was on the top floor and had a fantastic view over the town. There is a terrace also which makes an ideal viewing point for watching the famous Cappadocia hot air balloons. The breakfast was delicious and so filling. It set us up perfectly for the day ahead and what we couldn’t finish was offered to be packed up for us to take with us. The area itself is really nice with plenty of activities within easy reach by car. The town is within easy reach on foot. We didn’t have a lot of time spare to explore all of it but there are plenty of shops, cafes/restaurants, and a lovely riverside where we noticed there are gondola type boats that you can go out on the river in, probably in the right seasons (we visited mid March). If we return to Cappadocia we will definitely stay at Mira Cappadocia and highly recommend it. :)

It is a lovely small town next to Goreme (famous for the hot air balloon rides and pointed rock structures) so its a short ride away with none of the hustle and bustle of a touristy town. It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

The town is very beautiful and traditional.

The town is very beautiful and traditional. Most people speak very little English and most restaurants do not have menus in English. I personally love this and it was so nice to stay here for a few days and experience authentic Turkish culture. There is a beautiful river and an old town that comes alive at nighttime. It’s so much less touristy than Goreme and I would recommend for people wanting to avoid the crowds. So many pottery’s around and beautiful handmade items. I would have liked to explore the area more but it was a 40° heatwave so hiking was off the list.

Beautiful peaceful, and calm place to spend your holiday. Perfect ambiance gives you a homely feeling away from home and our host Nazlim who owns the property was extremely helpful and always available to help with ideas of exploring the city to arranging cabs with reasonable prices you will not just fall in love with the city but with this place too, away from hectic life and daily hustle to experience the serenity Adonos Konuk is your place. Come and rejuvenate your soul. Dear Nazlim if you are reading this will see you soon!!

Prob not as busy or touristy as the other options in...

Prob not as busy or touristy as the other options in Kapadocia. but still easy to get to the other towns to see all the historic sites etc. beautiful river flowing thru the middle of town, with all these lovely geese, ducks, water birds. lovely to stroll around - up little pathways, hidden coffee shops, Pottery shops and restos and quick food places - depending on your budget. I cannot wait to get back here. we stayed 3 days, need at least a week.

Avanos is perfectly located for exploring many of Cappadacia's most spectacular sites, and feels like an authentic town instead of tourist trap. We spent 4 nights there and 3 full days exploring by car, and these are some of our favorite places (all reachable within 15-20min drive): 1/Zelve Open Air Museum, 2/ Pasabag Valley, 3/ Love Valley, 4/ Ortahisar Castle, 5/Uchisar Castle... Boutique hotels, like Haci Asik Konagi, are wonderful places and well worth the money. The new BigShefs restaurant on the river was our favorite place for dinner. Avanos also is the place where you find the Chez Galip pottery store/workshop. Cappadocia is famous for its pottery, but what we saw at Chez Galip is in a class of its own. (Another such store is Yastik’s in Goreme, where we found unique pillow cushions from authentic vintage materials).

Avanos is super close by to all the highlights of Capadoccia, the city at the edge of the mountains is guarded by Turkey's longest river and is an amazing option to stay at while exploring the landscapes and hitching a ride on one of the hot air balloons!

It is a gorgeous hotel!! Our room had its own private terrace with grape vines. The bed was so comfy and all the furniture and decorations were beautiful. The staff were so friendly and the hotel was in a great location in the village of avanos. You could see the hot air balloons flying in the morning too! The wifi worked well and the shower was amazing. We stayed here for a few nights and it was so peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and so many options and all the staff are so friendly.
