The homestay staff was very friendly, picking us up from the ferry and diving us back for departure, answering all our questions and offering lots of advice for our time on the island. We could rent a scooter directly from thé homestay, breakfast was great.

Host was very helpful in multiple ways and concerning our whole stay (not just accommodation); for example, he gave us early warning and recommendations regarding an approaching typhoon which eventually led to ferry and flight cancellations but we were still able to leave the island on the day as planned

Great location. It is near the harbor so you can go anywhere in matzu from here. The hostel is extremely clean and most of the facilities that you expect to see for a hostel, it is there. The bad is comfortable and big enough for a single solo traveler. There is also a warm public space for talking and the host is friendly and very helpful to provide local information for travel. You can also rent a motorcycle on the spot.
