Wow! Incredible hotel, from top to bottom. Rooms, private Onsen in your room, location, THE VIEW and most of all: the food. By far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in and worth every penny. The staff is very helpful and professional. complimentary and fast transfers to the bus station were great. I can also recommend the hotel sunshine cruise.

The accommodation is in a quiet location. The room is large and everything is super clean. From the balcony you have a wonderful view over the lake and you can enjoy the same view from the huge bathtub. In the room there is a fridge, kettle and some snacks and drinks. There are fresh towels every day and the snacks are replenished.

With a 180-degree full view of the lake, our brand-new hotel is just a 3-minute walk to Shuishe Pier and only a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

This hotel feels like an institution, despite muted impressions from the facade when you see it for the first time. Fantastic attention to detail, great food and facilities. Hotel is located only 10 min away from one of the most beautiful temples I’ve ever seen. Staff and management went above and beyond to make out stay comfortable. There is also hotel provided shuttle bus to/from Taichung high speed station.

I am regretted that I just booked for a night. i could stay for more days! like literally just stay in and use the facility. the spa facility - free onsen and sauna or even onsen in room are just perfect, the facility and equipment are all new! also location is just perfect and it situated right the ita tsao street. you can grab all the foods and shopping there in just 2 mins walk.

We had a very comfortable stay at TaiHu Hotel. A lot of shop just outside the hotel. Fascinating view of Sun Moon Lake just 5 minutes walk. Very satisfying breakfast too.

Open in Feb 2016, 39 km from Taichung, Shui Sha Lian Hotel is located in Yuchi. It features a sun terrace and views of the lake. Free WiFI is available in all guest rooms.

Easily the best hotel in Taiwan (yes comparing to other cities). Best service: exceptionally friendly staff, free afternoon/evening service (simple drinks and snacks to mingle). Common area has games and also open area was beautiful at night. Best rooms: new furnishing but also excellent quality for the price. Room size is small but adequate. Beds were the best we had (solid and not fluffy). Toilet was clean and bright. Best soap ever, we wanted to buy but couldn't find it in stores outside! Best exterior.
