"Best beaches in Zanzibar! Specially if you would like to try or improve your kite-surfing skills. They have many schools or just renting options. Also best spot to enjoy diving or swimming with dolphines. Go for fishing with local people / pay for a boat tour. In general there are many different styles of restaurants on the beach, sometimes organizing parties. So you never gonna be bored here. But if you are a fan of simply just swimming, sunbathing - sure nice to stay in Paje ! Summary : Highly recommended & wish to go back again!"

"We loved every minut of our stay at Laluna . This place was beyond our expectations with stunning view from our apartment sandy garden around the pool with coconut trees and sand so clean and soft like flour powder . Staff very helpful and kind willing to do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for a come vacation. We really appreciate the easy access to fresh water which you store it in glass bottles which we think it’s great idea in the way of getting rid of the plastic. Bad things . Well nothing really to complain about this place. The only thing that touched us was the wasting of electricity in the rooms . Cleaning lady’s coming to make up the room every day was leaving behind all the lights open . We thing isn’t necessary !!! This place it’s a haven on earth anyway ;)"

"This place has an amazing ambient and a beautiful soul! It was like a hub for the coolest people from every country, looking for a peaceful, extremely relaxed vacation in a bit of wilderness, heartfelt conversations with alcohol next to the fire… it’s all in the package, and as a bonus you get one of the best teams - owners and staff members that are right there for you literally every minute. Thank you all guys- Benjamin, Annick, Cliffton, Melania, Elisabeth and others whose names we did not get to know;) You were all so amazing that even after two weeks it was a pity to leave. "We stayed at Hoom, in Dongwe, north of Bwejuu. We did not actaully see the village of Bwejuu at all. The main road runs behind the beach from Jambiani to Dongwe and continues up north to Pingwe. You can travel by taxi (expensive - need to negotiate) tuk-tuk (less expensive, negotiate extensively) or daladala (cheap, you need to adapt). There are resorts and hotels along the beach, and right behind it, and also very poor villages. People burn waste in the evenings, including plastics. Zanzibar smells of nice spices, but also burnt plastics. Disposable plastic bags are banned in Tanzania, thank goodness, but plastic bottles are everywhere. We loved the beach in Dongwe because it's less commercial and has lots of natural shade. It also has some nice hotels and restaurants."

We had an excellent week at Lujo Zanzibar; the staff are lovely. We were pampered; the rooms are comfortable, and Lujo caters to your every need to make each moment special. For my partner's birthday, we were treated to a beautifully decorated private dinner, a floating breakfast, a private breakfast on our terrace, and floral decorations in our room. I highly recommend Lujo and would definitely return if I ever come back to Zanzibar.

First of all, the fact that the property is located in Jambiani is a great advantage for tourists, as it is both a safe and well-developed area. From the very first moment we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed with warm smiles, and we were extremely satisfied with the staff’s attentiveness and the quality of service. They were always helpful, incredibly kind, and genuinely friendly. The design, comfort, and spacious living areas of the residence we stayed in made us realize once again that we had made the right choice. As an architect, I was particularly impressed by the hotel’s common areas, landscape design, and the circulation relationship between the buildings and their surroundings. The architectural approach of the property was truly impressive in terms of both aesthetics and functionality. The architect behind this project has done an outstanding job. I would also like to express special thanks to the hotel manager, Mara. She was an incredibly sweet, caring, and elegant person. She took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. We would also like to sincerely thank the team for the surprise birthday celebration and room decorations prepared for my cousin, which made us very happy. It was a truly thoughtful gesture. We greatly enjoyed our time here and truly grew fond of everyone. We hope to see you again soon.
