It is the most beautiful and relaxing place I have ever been to. The deco is a unique mixture between local and Jamaican culture. There are so many beautiful little hideouts where you can just lay down and relax. The pool is extraordinary. The food in the restaurant is incredible and at a very good price. The staff is so friendly and genuine. The discrete music is a beautiful mixture between african vibes and raggae. And also, we were not bothered by not having a beach. When the tide was low we walked around admiring little șea creatures and we visited the village nearby. When the tide was high we swam around. I fully and absolutely recommend this place.

I came with my friends and we had an amazing time. Our room was spacious and everything was clean, making the stay very comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience.

This place is heaven on earth! The best hotel on the Island and the best hotel we‘ve ever been to. It feels like paradise! Everything was simply perfect: vibe, interior, food, service. A big thank you to Tarek who sweetened our stay in Zanzibar - we will definitively come back!

The aesthetics of the room, the beautiful swimming pool and the fresh breakfast. The receptionist Emmanuel was particularly friendly, hospitable and kind. When we checked out and moved to a different hotel, we forgot some of our luggage. He brought the luggage to us which we had not even noticed we had forgotten. That was very kind of him.

What made this place truly special was that the guys were also surf guides and showed me some real hidden gems of Zanzibar — remote, secret surf spots I would never have found on my own. It became an unforgettable experience, and honestly my vacation exceeded all expectations because of that. Huge thanks for the memories!

One of the most beautiful accomodation visited in Africa, a real 5 star experience. Hotel has all the facilities that someone should have in the structure. Staff is very kind and helpful, jumbo room, comfortable bed. Moreover, hotel's restaurant is a real must!

What was there not to like? Everything was perfect. We went on our honeymoon and had an amazing time. Our room was very big but confy at the same time. The pool has the right size and the sunbeds are to die for. A lot of natural shades were a big plus ( the sun is so strong that we could only be in the shades ) The bathroom is amazing.!!! The outdoor shower is great to cooldown during the day and the bathtub is perfect for a relaxing bath during the hottest hours of the day We left the room to go for breakfast and dinner. Otherwise the room has everything you need. A cofee maker, a water heater, bottles of water are given every day, fruit

We had an excellent week at Lujo Zanzibar; the staff are lovely. We were pampered; the rooms are comfortable, and Lujo caters to your every need to make each moment special. For my partner's birthday, we were treated to a beautifully decorated private dinner, a floating breakfast, a private breakfast on our terrace, and floral decorations in our room. I highly recommend Lujo and would definitely return if I ever come back to Zanzibar.

The staff provided outstanding service and they are super friendly and helpfull.. Rooms are spacious and well organised. The hotel is located at the centre where you can easily walk to the beach and supermarket. Breakfast is tasty and of varieties.
