Ahmid, the driver, was an absolute pro - skillful, considerate, and patient. He made sure we had a stress-free stay and took us to all the best places on the island. I have been looking forward to write this review, because this place is the best place we have ever been!!! And we have traveled a lot..From we booked to we left yesterday, we have felt so welcome and been taken so good care of! Excellence is the best word, and in every way! Hospitality, staff, food, the bungalows, housekeeping and the setting is spectacular, on one of the most beautiful beaches on Zanzibar. It’s easy to go to every parts of the island, because they have the best drivers on the planet. So calm, safe cars, on time, waiting for you while you do your plan for that day. They organize massage for you outside your bungalow, private barbecue, and set up trips to different activities on the island that you want to see. And the prices are good. What is good to know is that Jambiani Villas have three properties on the beach. The one in the middle has the restaurant for breakfast and other meals. We stayed on the property 350 meters north, but loved that breakfast walk every morning on the beach! The bungalow had the most amazing sea view, and every morning we sat on the balcony taking it all in, before we jumped into the turquoise water and walked for breakfast. They also offer room service for free, if you want your breakfast in your house, but I recommend the 5 min walk! It is also good to know that this is Africa! One row behind, you meet the locals and you see the poverty and the big differences. But you also see how important tourism are for the locals. We buy their beautiful handmade things, they got work on different properties and they are extremely friendly. We were totally safe even after sunsets, walking to a restaurant along the beach.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Blue Oyster, a true oasis in Jambiani. Despite visiting during the off-season when other hotels were more or less closed, the Blue Oyster was thriving with a full house. The entire staff at the hotel provided exemplary hospitality, offering friendly and helpful service. With various room types available, I stayed in room No.19 located towards the back of the property. Despite its location, the refreshing sea breeze was always present, and the room offered partial views of the sea as well as a serene outlook over the central park. The food was of good quality and plentiful, and the level of cleanliness throughout the hotel was impressive. Any requests or needs were promptly attended to by the accommodating reception staff and other employees. The hotel provides an enough number of sunbeds, situated on an elevated place to minimize interruptions from beach vendors, ensuring a peaceful vacation experience. Additionally, the hotel prides itself on maintaining beach cleanliness by cleaning the trash from the beach that was brought by the tide every morning, and they encourage all guests to act sustainably and ecologically. Keep in mind, if you want to swim in the ocean that the beach in front of the hotel is subject to high tidal changes. Overall, I highly recommend the Blue Oyster for a tranquil stay in Jambiani.

Spacious and clean rooms with great sea view. Helpful and hospitable staff and owners. Good, well-maintained facilities and a lovely pool. Breakfast is 'a la carte', starting with a fruit platter and continuing with a great variety of options. There was no restriction - you could order everything you liked from the menu. Hotel was very helpful in arranging our transportation to/from Zanzibar ferry terminal (it is strongly recommended to book a taxi through the hotel, as it is much cheaper and safer than any 'driver' approaching you outside the ferry). The hotel also arranged for us a visit to the Blue Lagoon (again at a much lower price that what tourists could find on their own), where we had a chance to see the spectacular coral reef and its exotic marine species. One of the greatest assets of the hotel is its location right on the beautiful Paje beach, ideal for relaxation, jogging or water sports. (First-time visitors are advised not to pay too much attention to locals trying to sell you stuff, as they will not leave you alone until you buy something from them - usually overpriced at 'tourist rates'.) Around the hotel there is a local market, where you can buy spices, local handicraft and other goods. For handicraft, be prepared to negotiate hard, as the initial quoted prices are quite high.

I love this place so much ! Beside the seaside view of the hotel , friendly staffs always ready to provide help , and beautiful decoration all around , lots of places to chill, like bar at the seaside, hammock , swimming pool, very tropical and African and Jamaica style also delicious food and drinks at reasonable price , in addition, good music taste ! if you also a fan of Reggae, then you will find yourself back at home:), also have cute big dogs hung around waiting for your petting without disrupting you, as they good at ease by themselves. You call also join the dolphin tour or other tours by the bar.
