The buildings are beautiful both indoors and outdoors. We loved the garden with its beautiful vegetation that provided delightful shade. We also had a lot of fun in the the pool, and it was so nice to have our own veranda/outdoor deck.

The location was perfect, peaceful and surrounded by great amenities for the kids to enjoy. When we accidentally left behind my daughter’s bunny, the host contacted us immediately and even offered to meet us halfway, as we were already in Miami. Such kindness! The hotel property is incredible. They have everything you need including a pool, lounge area, hotel shuttle to the downtown core, parking and multiple dining experiences. We really enjoyed the fact that the shuttle to downtown Key West was every hour and there was a conveniently timed pick up. The rooster ear plugs were a nice touch considering Key West is the home of wild roosters and chickens.

Location was fantastic! We loved sitting on the deck and watching the water and boats passing by. We appreciated that we were both right at the hub of Key West, and that Pier House felt cozy and separate from the hubbub. The resort was gorgeous--the landscaping was lush and beautiful. We loved having private beach access, beach loungers, the warm pool, the fitness center, the hot tub. Our room was spacious, and we appreciated all the dresser drawers and counter space for our belongings. We had a delicious breakfast at One Duval. We liked the live music. Everyone who works there was friendly and helpful. We appreciated being able to check in early and check out late.

The room was fantastic! We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with partial water view and it exceeded my expectations. The 2 balconies were awesome- one overlooking the pool and the other overlooking the canal/ water. Absolutely picturesque. Very clean and well maintained. Loved the 4 pools so you never felt crowded. You can pick which one you wanted to go to. I really like how they had free sunscreen and water by the pool too and music. Also having complimentary sangria or juice on arrival plus free shuttles to old town is a big bonus.

Beautiful resort right on the water. We loved the location, beautiful views and beach. Restaurants and snorkling opportunities are right around the corner and Key West is about an hour drive away. This was our first time visiting Key West.

This was our first time visiting Key West. I recommend a place with a pool, nice to have that option to cool off and relax in between activities. Rent a bike and explore the area. We liked the sunset at Fort Zachary better than Mallory Square, less people. Hit the happy hours at numerous restaurants for great discounts. Get out on the water, either fishing, snorkel, boat tour, etc....Music at Hanks was awesome.

Very Nice commendation, we stayed in the hotel, but viewed the RV sites, which were very nicely setup and very accommodating. our hotel room was like a mini efficiency apartment. The pool area was very pleasant with many lounge chairs and a very large hot tub. Also the was very nice was the outdoor bar and restaurant. We would defiantly recommend this establishment.

Big Pine key is the equivalent of a locals restaurant. Not too flashy, not too expensive. 1/2 a dozen places to eat. A full size grocery store. All of 25 miles from Key west. Great fishing. Plenty of key deer. Just a nice laid back spot in the lower keys.

Tavernier is between Key Largo & Islamorada, so it is in a great location. It's an easy drive from Miami airport (just over one hour). It is about a 1 hr. 45 min. drive to Key West, which makes a great day trip (we did it twice during our eight-day stay. Our favorite dining spots are Capt. Craig's (superb chef-prepared meals), The Fish House (a Key Largo institution), and High Tide (best breakfast). For groceries there is Winn Dixie a few minutes from the apartment and Publix in Key Largo (we prefer Publix for better produce and selection). For activities, there's a small beach at Ocean Pointe which was nice, not too crowded, and relaxing. There is John Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo, only a few minutes away, with lots of activities like snorkeling, canoeing, paddle boarding, and glass bottom boat rides. We always take a half day of fishing with Capt. Jordan or Capt. Matt (Key Largo Fishing Adventures) and if you like to sky dive, go to Key West for a day and jump with one of the great instructors there. It's worth it! Getting around in the Keys is super easy - one road in (Overseas Hwy.) and marked by MM (mile markers) so everything is straight forward.

As quiet and laid back as the any of Keys could be. Refreshing after the hustle and bustle of Key West. Snorkeling over at nearby Looe Key, relaxing at Kiki’s, looking for Key Deer over on Big Pine, or just hitting the water in a kayak, it’s an “Old Florida Keys” experience.

Cudjoe Key is centrally located to access other Keys, Cudjoe Key itself has limited activities so everything is a 15-45 minute drive but we preferred to be in the middle rather than missing part of other keys. Definitely hit a visitor center first thing as they have access to all of the tourist activities and provided lower costs than even the best coupons. They could also help book, give addresses as well as reinforce what to pack.
