My wife and I liked everything we did and everywhere we ate the only downside of our trip was so many homeless people. Our favorite place that we ate was Vic’s on the river and Huey‘s Our favorite spot was the river walk To get around Savannah, I would suggest taking the hop on hop off trolley even though it’s $40 per ride very expensive. Highlights of our trip was the Springer Opera House and the Infantry Museum. The show was well-casted and professionally performed. The museum was very moving and educational. The displays were some of the best I’ve seen. There’s quite a variety of shopping and restaurants on exit 10. We stayed at the courtyard by the airport and it was a good location to go north or south for any of our events this weekend. You don’t need a lot of time in Columbus; a weekend will do. If you have kids or are adventurous, river tubing is available. We had lunch watching people mosey down the water. There are so many shops that can be explored, specialty fudge, cheeses, toys, blown glass, and on and on. There is minerature golf course, and camping areas too. Many places are pet friendly as well.
