- From $587.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 475 reviewsThis hotel has been recently renovated in excellent taste. The interior decoration has a neuvo nautical / resort vibe and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds are super comfortable, the bathroom is large, well - lit and sparkingling clean. The entire hotel is clean, well kept and has beautiful grounds including a pool, plenty of deck space, fire pits surrounded by outdoor sofas, cabana style outdoor beds, large lawns with lawn games and Adirondack chairs, hammocks, picnic tables and fire pits, all pristine and overlooking Narragansett Harbor with views of the Newport Bridge. The pool staff was accommodating, and they set up your chairs with towels and umbrellas if you prefer shade. The pool decks overlook the harbor, and there is a bar and snack shack with poolside service of drinks and small plates. The drinks and food were excellent. We also ate at the Torpedo lounge the second night of our stay. There was live music on the deck, and the food was amazing. The salads and homemade dressings were really excellent.Guest review byIlyseIsrael
- From $196.62 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 717 reviewsUnfortunately I missed the breakfast as I didn't realize there was one. I thought the place was exceptional. Loved our room, loved the location, was thrilled with the size, cleanliness and the jacuzzi. Regret I didn't use the swings. Unfortunately was assaulted by some intense biting bugs when I walked in the garden, but can't fault the Inn for that. The view from our room was awesome (we had the end room looking towards the "beach" as well as the golf course). Loved the property, the garden, that there were actually tomatoes growing as well as a bunny. Couldn't have been happier- thanks for a lovely stay Winnipaug Inn!Guest review bySophiaUnited States
- From $249.47 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 634 reviewsThe rooms are very, very clean with updated appointments and amenities. The room size is efficient, however adequate. The grounds are meticulously maintained and very colorful, with a wide variety of blooming plants and shrubs. The owners live on site and are attentive to your needs. They are also very friendly! The available bagged ice and bottled water was very convenient and saved us trips to the store. Of course, the location is just perfect. I highly recommend this property.Guest review byLUnited States
- From $394.37 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 256 reviewsIt was worth every penny. Perfect, clean rooms, restaurant on site, bar on site, beach right outside the door. They even had a basket full of free trashy beach novels to read! Most importantly, the staff truly cares. while I was there I was given extra days off by my boss. The staff at the desk went the extra mile to extend my stay during a holiday week! I will be returning next year!Guest review byBethUnited States

I've been coming to Newport for the Jazz Festival for almost 20 years. It's a trip I look forward to every year. Once I park the car I rarely have to move it since most of the places I frequent are walkable. I always make my way to the cliff walk as i find it very relaxing.Guest review byTarr - 10.0
Actually, I didn't see much of the city.
Actually, I didn't see much of the city. I mainly toured other towns in RI, but I had to come to Providence to catch the train home. The one night I spent at this hotel, however, was a great way to end my vacation.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Middletown is absolutely beautiful.
Middletown is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of beaches to chose from and all have great views of the surrounding area....eg. cliffs. Lovely coast road drive which leads to Brenton Park for flying kites or have a picnic.Guest review byMarvinUnited States - 8.0
City of Warwick is fine.
City of Warwick is fine. However, the hotel should have had a prior warning about the construction which was in progress during my stay. I felt it was rather unsafe to walk through workers to and from your room.Guest review byCharles - 10.0
Shopping along the strip was very good!
Shopping along the strip was very good! “Maggie’s”, a shop right in the Pleasant View Inn was our favorite! Also shopped at “Jules” and “Alfies” Other restaurants…Andreas and Maria’s were very good. Even the hot dog at the little spot next to Jules ( mostly an ice cream spot) hit the spot!Guest review byJulieUnited States - 10.0

Definitely you want to visit this island at least once. It has breathtaking views, hikes in the nature unspoiled nature with sight of wildlife. The New England experience at its best! I was in town to set up a new apartment.
I was in town to set up a new apartment. My husband and I are from New England and planning to stay in RI during the summer. The South Kingstown/Narragansett area is a hidden jewel - everything you need to set up house, useful stores and very close to Jamestown and Newport.Guest review byFielding - 8.0
Smithfield suited our needs for this trip.
Smithfield suited our needs for this trip. There was ample retail to assist with some items we needed. Our business took us to a nearby town not allowing us much time to explore but the town looked interesting. We did notice that this area evidently is home to university/college students but that presented no problems whatsoever.Guest review byDaleUnited States - 10.0

5 Huge Stars to the Staff, room size, cleanliness, parking, wifi, and location. Felt safe. So much shopping. Loved the recliner, kitchen, hardwoods, bathroom, and desk. The bed was nice. Clean. Just bring earplugs. The walls are made of paper and you hear everything above and next to you.Guest review byc - 4.0

We had a problem with our room, no hot water and the TV did not work. I believe the hotel had just opened for the season so we did not mind being moved to a new room. A hotel representative provided us a $28.25 credit for the inconvenience but we never received the credit. After 4 voicemails and an email or two, the hotel responded and told us they credited a Destination fee. We book the room through Booking.com and they charged us the $28.25 for a Resort fee so I believe these fees are the same fee because they are the exact same amount and why wouldn't Booking.com have charged me for both fees when I booked the room. It's not much money but it makes me wonder about Management's integrity and attention to detail.Guest review byAnonymous
