This hotel was a very pleasant place. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. We were just a short walk across the Lion bridge to historic old town. Breakfast was a nice surprise hot and delicious. I would recommend to all my friends that the Marker is a great place to stay

I was really happy with our stay. Nick was a great host! Close enough to downtown without being in downtown. Right across a busy street to the beach! I would definitely return for another stay. Maybe even as soon as October. The room itself was clean & roomy. Private patio on first floor. I'm so glad for an almost full sized refrigerator since I had leftovers for almost every meal! The pool was not heated to 85°, but we weren't in it anyway. I just spoke to other guests. I really appreciated warm breakfast every day & the popcorn & cookies at 5! I'm so tired due to the time change between our central time & your eastern time, but the beds are very comfortable & I slept well. They are almost too tall, but I managed. Very happy with the big TV. Usually hotels don't have big enough TVs. Happy for housekeeping every day. Other than that, I was very pleased with our stay! St. Augustine is a great place to visit & Ocean Sands Beachfront Inn is a great place to stay while visiting. Reading other reviews, I find it extremely difficult to understand the great stays from the awful stays. Obviously, someone is lying about their experience. I did not see one bug, nor a speck of dirt! Everything was almost perfect. I noted what wasn't.

Nice and quiet location. Beachfront room has a beautiful view. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff at the front desk are very friendly. The coffee maker had a broken lid on the pot but the coffee maker works. Bathroom was clean and has a nice roomy shower. Convenient location to downtown St. Augustine and many other beaches. Cresent beach is very clean and well maintained. I will definitely stay at Beacher’s Lodge again.

We enjoyed the walking wine tour the best!!! It was chock full of history shared by our guide; delicious treats of food paired with a wine tasting along the way. We met some fantastic people in our group as well. I would HIGHLY recommend it! We also toured the Lightner Museum which was well worth it!

Nicer than expected.

Nicer than expected. Quiet with a big beautiful beach and less touristy and run down than Daytona. Great breakfast with a beach view and a bar at Crabby's, a hidden gem and a great casual beach restaurant

Nice clean beach with white sand and clear water. It wasn’t overcrowded. Parking is available, but you have to come early. Parking on the beach is also an option. There is a restroom available in the parking lot.

It is central to St Augustine and Jacksonville; so very easy to get around. Loved being on the beachfront! Only downside is walking our dog on A1A because we didn't want him in the sand. However, it was doable. would definitely stay here again!

This historical nugget is one of the best kept secrets in the state. I grew up in Florida but never made it to St Augustine until about 4 months ago. Of course, now it's a family favorite - my husband dropped a surprise on me this past Saturday and insisted we drive up for a quick stay. It did not disappoint! This time we shot over to Vilano Brach for some intracoastal activities. Lovely spot

We have visited the St.

We have visited the St. Augustine area several times over several years. The St. Augustine Beach area is nice - away from the downtown and heavily touristy areas, and a nice broad beach. You can reach all of the St. Augustine area attractions within minutes from here. Good restaurants and clubs here, too.

It was perfect for me & my little dog. However, for other people the only thing missing would be some beach accessories, & notes/tips/coupons for new area visitors for dining/entertainment/outdoor activities, etc. There's a lot to see & do there, but newbies may not know.

It's a huge beach and you can walk for miles and miles. It's pretty quite may be due to this time of year and it's a great place to relax just by walking and listening to the sound of the ocean. The water temp is good but due to huge waves, you won't be able to swim there so we just jump in the waves,
