This was the most comfortable room I stayed in in Vietnam. The sheets and douvet were SO soft I could've stayed in bed forever. The rooms were modern, full of light, and bathrooms were incredible. Highly recommend booking this hotel if you're headed to Ninh Binh. It's only 10 mins drive from all the tourist attractions, and I liked that we weren't right in the center of it all.

Little charming “village” with great food! The place is like described, natural with outdoor bathroom but our room had both heating and cooling air conditioner which was convenient because it was cold first days. The breakfast was BIG portion and Pho was the most delicious I ate in Vietnam. We ate dinner at the bungalows every day, there is good section.

This might have been our favourite stay in Vietnam and we stayed 3 nights and were sad to leave. The bungalows are in such a great location. It is quiet and away from the busy street but only steps away if you want to be in the action. We easily walked to restaurants, coffee shops, spa/massage places, etc. We used the free bikes to bike to Mua Cave - if you follow google walk directions it is a little rough but a really cool bike ride. If not just follow driving directions and you stay on the roads vs dodging buffalo, chicken, goats and dogs! The breakfast offered is amazing. We had a group of 5 in 2 separate rooms. Each breakfast had 5 fruit, yogurt, toast and eggs, a Vetnamese pancake, and a drink. It was a lot of food and so good! Kept us full for hours. We used the pool at least twice each day. We traveled in Nov but it was still HOT so it was great to cool off and relax for a couple hours as a break from walking in the heat. We rented the scooters which was also a lot of fun. It was a quieter area to try them out and get comfortable before braving out into traffic. But you can also just walk or bike almost everywhere. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were great. Staff is always available to help in any way. You get a welcome drink every time you come back after a day out. And they also offer a foot bath in the evenings after a long day of walking. It comes with a delicious tea. Overall a great place to stay and I would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay! Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The property is located in a quiet area about 5min walk from the town. View from the property is spectacular. Swimming pool is refreshing. Best of all - the owners! We felt so welcomed by the family, they are all super friendly and helpful. We got so many good recommendations on things to do and where to eat. Bicycles are free to use, which was great. We were also able to rent a scooter. The breakfast is delicious (you can choose one main dish, coffee or tea + you get fruit and fresh mango juice). Try the omelette, it’s one of the best I’ve ever had! We would love to come back!

The location of this hotel is hard to beat! You are tucked away in your own little bubble between karsts. The room is very large and comfortable. The pool is very nice to relax in and in general they have lots of little nice chill spots outside. The walk into town is only about 10 minutes (maybe a bit less) away. The walk was well lit at night as well. The staff was super kind and were very helpful and fun to chat with.

After years of travelling and spending hundreds of nights in different hotels, this is the very first time I’m giving a 10. It’s truly a fantastic place, we even extended our stay! The showers are great with good water pressure and temperature, the pool is lovely, and the breakfast is extensive and freshly prepared. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. But what really stands out above everything else is the staff. You simply won’t find people more friendly, caring, and genuinely hospitable. Everything is arranged smoothly and pleasantly, never pushy or money-driven. The view is stunning as well, and with the free bikes you can reach the city centre in no time. I sincerely hope they can maintain this level of quality and service, because they truly deserve it!

This is by far the best hotel we have ever been in Vietnam. The place looks like a dream of a fairy tale (in the day and in the night). The staff is amazing kind and super helpful. The views from the rooms and outside are extraordinary. During the night we could hear the animals and nature sounds, so unique and magical experience! We extended our trip just because we loved the hotel! A special thanks to Quang, which helped us with anything we needed plus helped us with planning trips around the area, booking tickets and taxi's in the best price! The hotel is short distance from all restaurants, 5 minute walk and they will provide you with free bicycle if you wish. The shower was amazing and the bed was big and comfy! We will definitely come back again to this hotel:)

We stayed here for a few nights and really liked it. The guesthouse is new, clean, and the receptionist was so kind and helpful. She even upgraded us to family room for a night. Breakfast was simple and limited, but honestly okay considering how affordable the room was. They offer free bicycles and got a motorbike rental as well. Great value for money overall — comfortable stay for our little family.

Everything :) The staff were really nice and very helpful. The place was very clean. The room was very spacious. The breakfast was good. Maybe the place is a little bit remote but it was quiet and possible to reach the city center, eating places, and some places of interest even on foot.

One word. Amazing! Chez Beo is such a relaxing place. It was hard to leave for our excursions each day. We stayed 4 days. The food was amazing. The staff were amazing! We were a party of 5 and rented 3 rooms. All very spacious with private bathrooms. Hot water was plenty. Cabins are made with wood and bamboo, no insulation. Beds have mosquito nets. It’s rustic! You are in a jungle setting so be realistic and don’t forget your bug spray. Don’t be in a rush at meal time as they prepare each dish fresh so it can take a while. The vegetable spring rolls were the best Ive ever had as well as the pan fried noodles with egg and veggies. 10 stars! ⭐️ x 10! You won’t be disappointed!

Memorable bungalow in wonderful location, with cute swimming pool with mountain view. The accomodation really exceeded our expectations. Very clean location, and yummy breakfast. Super Plus++: we had planned to reach the Halong Bay on the check-out day, but in the evening had booked nothing yet. The guy at the reception came back at 9pm -even if he was supposed to be already off- and helped us organizing the entire trip (transfer from Ninh Binh to harbour, Halong Bay tour 2D1N, transfer from harbour to Hanoi the next day), at a cheaper price than the (only) one still available found online. All this without asking anything for it. Just wholehearted. Truly grateful!

The staff are very kind and made good recommendations to help us enjoy our short stay, such as where to do self-guided bike tours and when to go on the boat tours (eg avoid the heat during midday!). They also helped us get a car to Hanoi Noi Bai airport for after we checked out. Breakfast included has Vietnamese and Western options, and has vegetarian options. We had buffet style one day and ordered from a menu the other day. Bikes are available for rental, nothing fancy. Rooms are clean and pleasantly decorated. There's a nice quiet vibe as the place is a quick bike ride from the busy streets / restaurants.

The hotel staff and especially manager Hung were so kind and welcoming. The location was relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Tam Coc (don't think we would've gotten any rest there). The hotel also helped arrange a private car to Sapa for us at a slightly better price than we could find on our own.

It was an amazing little place to stay. The room was absolutely magnificent. I was in a little bungalow to myself. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was large and had plenty of hot water. The room also had heat for the cool nights. I cannot say anything bad about the place.

We actually stayed in Tam Coc, a nearby smaller tourist town next to Ninh Binh. We stayed for 6 nights total and there were lots of things to do around. Pagodas, tamples, lots of caves, boat tours through those caves, Hang Mua view. I can definitely recommend it.

The bed was a king size, comfiest bed I have slept in all Vietnam, also the air con worked, having your own bathroom and shower, and the staff were super lovely. Loved the stay here felt super luxurious.

As far as I can make out, this town is a suburb/area of Ninh Binh, less than a mile from the train station. It is probably the friendliest place I've ever been - I think I was "helloed" by just about everyone under 10 I saw. But the highlights are really in the surrounding countryside, so I would recommend planning for a few days out to see the nature reserves and participate in the activities. You don't need to travel far, and can get Grab taxis or bikes if you don't have your own transport.

After few days in hectic but great Hanoi, I thoroughly...

After few days in hectic but great Hanoi, I thoroughly enjoyed Ninh Binh. I explored the area including the Trang An boat through the Halong Bay on land (it really is), cycling around the rice fields, visiting the Mua Cave (and going up the mountain), the hidden parts and cafes. It’s a slower pace place but this makes it special.

I had a wonderful experience at Lighthouse Hotel in Ninh Binh. The hotel is located in a convenient location, near markets and attractions, making transportation easy. Rooms are clean, comfortable and fully equipped with amenities. In particular, the receptionist is very friendly and enthusiastic, always ready to assist customers. The hotel also provides a private cooking area and dining table for guests, creating a feeling of home. The yard is spacious and airy, providing a relaxing space after days of exploration. I will definitely return to Lighthouse Hotel on my next trips to Ninh Binh.

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real...

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real attraction is Trang An. Get there early - 6:50am, choose Route 1, and prepare to be transported into another world. Pictures do not capture the other worldly atmosphere of the place - it really is something special.
