Sibuya Game Reserve is a truly special place with an incredible atmosphere. The whole experience feels very intimate and authentic, allowing you to see amazing wildlife up close in a very natural setting.
The team on site is unbelievably kind and welcoming and takes care of everything so you can fully enjoy the experience. You can really feel how passionate they are about what they do.
Seeing such incredible animals in this beautiful environment was absolutely unforgettable. If you are looking for a unique safari experience with a very personal touch, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 4 nights at "The Lodge", an amazing historic family home that takes you back in time 100 years. Beautifully furnished with antiques and animal skin rugs. Enjoyed the fragrance of Mansfield Private Reserve's signature linen spray, moisturizer and body wash. The surrounding wildlife and birds were wonderful. . . herds of Impala, Zebra, Wildebeest and a few Blesbock were frequently very nearby. Kingfishers, Horn bills, Hoopoes, Starlings etc. flitted through the trees. A Magical Experience in every way.

Our stay at River Lodge was truly magical. From the moment we arrived, until the final goodbye nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were superb, especially our safari guide Kyran. We were treated to some of the best that Kariega has to offer, newly born impalas, very young elephants and white rhinos. The chance to see a trio of young lions hunting zebra, moon-lit giraffes and so many experiences that will stay with us for ever, made our time at the River Lodge the highlight of our garden route adventure.

Experience of a lifetime! Highly recommend - Our guide Matthews was great. He made sure everyone saw the animals they wanted (we saw lions (including cubs), rhino's, hippo's, cheetahs, giraffes, etc. etc.) to and the resort-like set up (all meals included, all game drives included) was incredible.

Perfect for getting away from the busy cities like Cape Town...
Perfect for getting away from the busy cities like Cape Town and Durban during the festive season. The town is clean and I enjoyed being able to shop. Its also closer to other small charming seaside neighborhoods like Kenton On Sea.

Paradise on earth! Want to go back. So much to see and do. Loved swimming in the ocean and in the Estuary. Boknes Lagoon was a wonderful treat. We also walked to Shelley Bay, which is breathtakingly beautiful.

Really interesting community.
Really interesting community. Best place is on the stoep at the Pig and Whistle. Their food was great, there is a pool table for entertainment for the kids. Prices are very good and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Port Alfred is a wonderful mix of beautiful scenery, lovely clean beaches, and great restaurants. Very definitely worth a visit.
The Schools Boat Race Regatta is held in Port Alfred every year, in December. It is a firm favourite on our rowing calendar.

A great little town with beautiful beaches and river frontages. Lots of little places to visit around town as well. Prefer it out of season as it becomes very busy and you loose the charm. A coastal gem that invites you to slow down and enjoy the sea air

Port Alfred is a small and attractive town with beautiful and clean beaches . It has beautiful villas guest houses and nice hotels with tasty food .There are so many tourist attractions eg. The golf club. It has two malls, Heritage mall and Rosehill mall. We went to eat at spur with my family.

This is the place to stay for easy access to Private Game...
This is the place to stay for easy access to Private Game Reserves and Safaris. Recommend Addo Elephant Park, Pumba Private Game Reserve & Sibuya. The restaurants were amazing too. Stanleys is a must. Pizzarella have amazing pizzas. Vollo and Voila also great.
