Facing the seafront in Kota Belud, Bigfin beach resort features a private beach area. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a garden. The property provides sea views and a terrace. -The location is unique, literally. Isolated but not too remote, with a perfect beach, surrounded by superb jungle (and its sounds) -infrastructure is in line with what can be expected for the price (reasonable). No airco and limited power, mosquito nets, fans, adequately ventilated rooms.... with superb views!!!!! (On mount K). In fact, infrastructure is adapted to the environment and that creates also the experience - food is great (and included) - staff is very nice , without exception. Love & kindness - diving is great, and other activities are possible I liked it so much that I d come to Sabah only for that place..... Congratulations to the owners for creating this environment and the experience it offers, with their team, and being able to maintain this over time.... 🙌

Nestled amongst the natural and lush greenery of the rainforests near the border between Malaysia and Brunei, Mulu Marriott Resort is located on Melinau Paku River in Miri. Just exceptional! The staff were delightful, and although we're not really Christmas people, they went out of their way to make it a very memorable one. The location is idyllic and utterly relaxing, as was simply sitting with a glass of wine on an open terrace listening to the incredible soundtrack of the rain forest. Great information, support, and service to and from the National Park. It's a long way from where we call home, but how we would love to go again..

Brunei Darussalam is located on the north coast of Borneo and is a unique kingdom rich in Malay culture, peace, and tranquility. This place is quite amazing and impossible to describe. You just have to go. It is huge and they have everything. The grounds are so large they pick you up in a cart to drive you to things. The lobby has massive white and gold pillars. The room was huge and spotless. We had a stunning ocean view. The bed was very comfortable; we slept so well. The breakfast was amazing. The room wasn’t cheap but it was a great value. The service was absolutely impeccable.

Set amidst a nature reserve overlooking the South China Sea, Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu features relaxing stays in elegantly furnished guest rooms. Amazing property with truly world class amenities and crew. Great pool and beach. Spent most of our time at the Samoan bar in the evenings during sundowner. Great food, great cocktails and wonderful staff led by Fen and her team of Febby, Nazirul, Stephanie. Great team and wonderful to interact with. Hats off to their professionalism. Comfortable resort located close to the city centre. It has quite a large pool and other amenities/ facilities for a comfortable stay. The parking lot has sufficient spots. The resort faces the sea and has a decent view of sunsets.

Boasting 6 dining options, an exclusive Chi, The Spa and an outdoor pool with water jets, Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Kota Kinabalu offers luxury beachfront accommodation in Tanjung Aru. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The location was great - a short ride from the airport, city, and attractions. The hotel was clean and it had amazing facilities. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. A wonderful stay!

Petronella Apartment C1 Marina Court se află în Kota Kinabalu și pune la dispoziție cazare cu WiFi gratuit și vedere la oraș, precum și o piscină în aer liber, un bar și un cazinou. The apartment was very neat, tidy, comfortable and seemed to have had relatively recent work done on the bathrooms which was nice. Check-in was a breeze and Stella was always available via WhatsApp to answer any questions that we had. The location was super central which helped with access to markets and shopping. It's also only 15 minutes from the airport. We had an afternoon flight so asked for a late check-out which was really appreciated. Apparently there's a large pool but we didn't use it.
