Everything is immaculate from the incredible staff, the drop dead stunning location, comfortable and beautiful rooms, delicious food, nothing can be faulted! We didn’t expect to love it this much and absolutely plan on returning one day. I wish I could give 1000/10 because I would! You will not regret booking Kato Dool.

Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. Stunning, serene location. We got river view rooms, which added to the overall experience. The staff (particularly restaurant and house keeping - Noura) were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Early check in was arranged without any hassle, and the management was very understanding when our departure got delayed by several hours, and we were able to stay on and use the facilities at no extra cost. Also very friendly with the children.

The reception team reached out right after I made my booking and even checked in about my arrival time, which was a nice touch. When I got there, they gave me a full run-through of the resort—restaurants, gym, all the facilities. The Jazoor restaurant was a real highlight: great food, beautiful Nile view, just the perfect combo. Breakfast was just as good in the lounge. Big thanks to Dina Hassan at reception, she was super supportive and really made the stay even better.

Our stay at Kato Waidi was the highlight of our trip to Aswan. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like family. They were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded our room to a Nile view for free, and waking up to that scenery was absolutely breathtaking. They also allowed us a late checkout, which made our departure so much more relaxed. The breakfast was amazing—fresh, authentic, and plenty of variety. Special thanks to the team for helping us arrange our transport; they worked within our specific budget to ensure we got where we needed to go without any stress. Highly recommend this gem!

We stayed here for three nights and loved it. The temples can be done in one day, but this hotel is so nice that we felt sad leaving. The staff is super friendly.

Absolutely LOVED our stay one of the things that love the most was the service which I find that exceptional! Marina was so kind and sweet with my boys. The hotel manager is AMAZING what a KIND human! The foot of the hotel is so good We really enjoyed having to half board because dinner was so delicious

The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!
