The resort provides some rooms with sea views, and rooms have a balcony.
We had the most incredible stay at Mai Sunset Island Resort in Fiji, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made us feel like family. The resort is a true paradise, nestled on a pristine beach with swaying palms and crystal-clear waters that seem to glow at sunset—hence the name, and it absolutely lives up to it!
Our bure was a perfect blend of traditional Fijian charm and modern comfort, with a cozy bed, stunning ocean views, and an outdoor shower that felt like a little slice of luxury under the stars. The food was a highlight—fresh, local ingredients crafted into delicious meals, with the coconut ice cream being an unforgettable treat. The compulsory meal plan was worth every penny, offering a variety of dishes that showcased Fijian flavors.
The activities were endless and so much fun—snorkeling over vibrant reefs, kayaking along the shore, trips to the local village or just lazy stroll along the beach. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every experience was seamless, always with a smile(thank you Male, Nivi, Ave, Vinie, Rauga).
What truly sets Mai Sunset apart is its serene, intimate vibe. It’s not overcrowded, so you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. The connection to Fijian culture was also special—learning about local traditions and seeing the care put into every detail made the stay meaningful. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and create memories that last a lifetime, Mai Sunset Island Resort is pure perfection. I’m already dreaming of my next visit!

Nestled on a stunning white sandy beach in the heart of the Yaskawa Islands, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort offers the perfect island escape with beachfront dining, a vibrant bar, and a unique Japanese tapa-style restaurant. Difficult to say. All. The location is a paradise. We had a wonderful beachfront palm villa with two bedrooms, fantastic open air bathroom with two showers, very spacious bedrooms, living space... We had our own patio and reserved sunbeds by the beach. The resort is very nice and the coral reef in the lagoon mind blowing. Meals arrangements in two restaurantd are super good. We loved, literally loved, the japanese spot. In the morning 10 choices to pick 2 tapas style and in the night for dinner 10 small plates, high cuisine. Extraordinary. The other restaurant front beach also very nice with music by night. Excursions organised by the resorts to snorkeling and to a cave we loved it. Great, great time, highly recommendable.

Kuata
Ideally located for diving, Barefoot Kuata Island Resort Island offers a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and games room. Most friendly and welcoming people there!
There are 3 super nice beaches where you can watch sunrise / sunset (+ beach bar) and super clear water with beautiful reefs
There’s also a beach volleyball field where we played with the locals
Lots of free activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, marine talks and also a free dive!

Guests can enjoy a range of leisure activities including diving, kayaking and snorkelling. Stunning location, beautiful coral reef for snorkeling in front of the resort, the room has comfortable bed, the food was really great, and staff are welcoming. There were always some activities going on - free & paid, we also enjoyed the walk around the island to the other side - "sunset beach". Particularly I would like to highlight the restaurant area with almost 360 views. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back.

People were so friendly!! Kind, helpful. Snorkling great off resort. Shark snorkel really fun and I saw a lot!
Second time for us in the last 2 years so we really enjoy this piece of paradise . It has a relaxed vibe and an understated ambience that results in a lovely restful holiday. Beautiful snorkelling just off the beach and even with low tide can get out swimming. Staff are friendly , manager is very involved with helping out with chores around the resort. Food is nicely presented and tastes good. Great massage at the spa
Absolutely fantastic resort. I did three resorts during my Yasawa islands stay (Barefoot Kuata, Barefoot Manta - all three in dorms) and this one was the best. By far the best food, super nice staff, lot of different activities and trips available. Also the hike above the resort was the nicest. Dorm was clean, no bunk beds and lots of personal space. Beach was great - hotel has a nice entrance to the sea and if you wish to snorkel you can simply walk 1 minute to the Blue lagoon resort beach and there is nice coral. Loved it
It’s just a wonderful resort, there is tours, diving, activities and the restaurant is fantastic.
We loved the small resort vibes with there only being a handful of bungalows. The staff were all so lovely and the whole place had an amazing chill vibe. The best was the island doggos who came paddling boarding with us! Beautiful and spacious rooms and loved all the small details.
The staff were amazing, food incredible and the resort as a whole did not leave you wanting for anything. Will be back 100% Our two little ones were so fussed over, it was an amazing holiday for the whole family
Octopus resort is situated on a beautiful beach with fabulous snorkelling right off the beach. It’s possible to swim at both low and high tide and there is also a lovely swimming pool. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Everybody who works there are so friendly and helpful. It has a really welcoming family atmosphere. The food is absolutely exceptional. There’s a great range of activities, and a spa that offers a great range of massages and treatments to make your holiday the perfect relax.
The staff were great. The meals varied between inedible and good. Breakfast was probably the best value for money. We went to the resort to see manta rays, a bucket list item... we did. The best shore snorkelling we have seen in quite some time. The corals were extensive and alive.
Everything in Coconut Beach Resort is perfect. Excellent geographical location, stunning scenery, perfect beach, excellent accommodation environment, friendly staff, diverse activities, and delicious cuisine... Anyway, everything here exceeded my expectations!!!
