This is my second stay at Kuda Laut; I spent 8 days last year and decided to return for more diving and underwater photography for 9 days. I enjoyed again both the hotel facilities and the Bunaken reef and wall dives. The dive boats are well equipped and the dive guides well trained and safety conscious. My special thanks to Luther, my guide in 14 dives, and to the very friendly personnel of the resort. The only negative thing is the many hours of flight from New. York. I hope to return again.

Featuring sea views, Sunmoon Beach Resort Likupang Timur in Pulau Mogogimbun features accommodation, a garden, a private beach area, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar.

There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hairdryer. Sun moon was a fabulous location not far from Bitung and right on the beach. The accommodation and communal spaces were of exceptional standard as was every meal. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming also great to spend time chatting with. Can’t recommend sunmoon enough and look forward to returning one day.,

Bolilanga Island Resort - Togean Island has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Angkayo. Among the facilities at this property are room service and dry cleaning services, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Staff on site can arrange a shuttle service. Amazing experience. Beautiful island, beautiful beach, beautiful snorkelling just in front of the bungalows. The food is also super good. Thanks a lot to the staff for this experience. The fact that there are no other hotel on the island is also nice and makes you feel like you're on a private island.

Situated in Bunaken, 13 km from Manado Harbor, Lekker Gezellig Dive Resort Manado features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. With a restaurant, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can make use of a bar. "Lekker gezellig" fits perfectly for this dive resort. The staff always takes the time for a friendly conversation and is super helpful. Greis and Inka really made a difference to our stay. Everything we need is arranged very quickly. The pickup from the airport was very well organized. We have enjoyed the food, both indonesian and Manadonese dishes, it is very fulfilling and accommodating to our preferences and needs. Breakfast is a pleasant surprise every morning and always comes with bread, fresh fruits and local coffee. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. We really like the terrace with the view, too. The pool is awesome for relaxing and bird watching. Additionally, the owner appears to be very involved and genuinely cares about the guests' happiness. We love the jungle vibe of the resort, very peaceful, with many birds and other beautiful creatures around. The jetty through the mangrove really adds to the experience, a perfect location to do mindblowing dives.  I would recommend lekker gezellig to anyone who enjoys the jungle experience and is looking for warm North-Sulawesi hospitality.

K2 Lembeh Dive Resort features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bitung. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The air-conditioned rooms provide a mountain view and come with a desk and free WiFi. Staff was amazing ! The couple in the kitchen was so nice, food was the best we had during our whole stay. We even had a special cake to celebrate our 100th dive! The dive team was exceptional, Man and Piky helped us see the most amazing stuff. Definetely among the best dives we ever had. Room is nice as well, AC really useful.

Situated in Rinondoran, 500 metres from Paal Beach, Pulisan Resort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. The hotel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Where do I start ……it’s family owned, it’s fabulous location , kind and friendly staff , fresh and delicious food , beautifully built traditional wooden accommodation, transfers to and from the airport were impeccable, on time and safe, and lastly on the edge of a jungle but fantastic Wi-Fi reception.

Located in Bulukumba, a few steps from Tanjung Bira Beach, Akasha Beach Club provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The resort also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Absolutely fantastic place – easily one of the highest standards you’ll find on Sulawesi. Yes, the price is on the higher end, but you get what you pay for: everything works seamlessly, the service is outstanding, and the staff are genuinely exceptional. They’re also great at arranging local boatmen for custom-made snorkeling trips and excursions to nearby islands – all at very reasonable prices. The beach is well-maintained and largely free of plastic, great for swimming and spotting the occasional fish. For the more impressive snorkeling, you’ll need to go a bit farther out – the easiest way is to hire a local boat that picks you up directly from the shore. We stayed in the suite, which is enormous and comes with two incredible private terraces. Nice views. The only thing missing? A shared swimming pool would make it perfect. Only two rooms have a private pool - not the suite.
