This is the best resort I have stayed at until biw. so peaceful and you can hear birds all the time. The room was absolutely stunning, clean, bright and airy, and the balcony made my day. The food is of good quality and the staff is fantastic. Their onsite Spa is also really good but the rates at the spa are a bit much in my opinion. One must try their chickoo coffee it is delish ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Tamara Coorg is a 5-star property about 8 km from Nalkanad Palace and Thadiandamol. Featuring contemporary resort-style decor, all guestrooms come with a private terrace where guests can enjoy fresh mountain air and watch birds. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. I have had the pleasure to stay in this facility for 3 days. I booked it because it was close to my place of interest, because it had good reviews and because the pictures looked pretty. Little did I know how much I underestimated this resort! The combination of tranquility, breathtaking views from your "room", the omnipresent luxury, selection of superb activities, the cuisine, the actual living forest all around you and overall hospitality and service simply cannot be described by words. One must experience it first-hand to fully appreciate this gem of a property. This property is situated literally inside a functioning coffee plantation, where you can explore the coffee making process from blossom to brewing (and roast / grind coffee beans yourself!). That is only one of the few exceptional activities offered, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The plantation is huge, and so is the resort itself. So of course they drive you with a buggy, whenever you are not in a mood for a little walk. Your "room" is actually a cottage, suspended above tree foliage, with a sense of complete privacy, even though a next cottage is nearby. The view has depth which can only be experienced by the seashore, or at high altitude. The connection to nature is taken very seriously here, and can also be felt intensely everywhere - whether you are relaxing on the terrace of your cottage, or walking to the pool and spa, or just having dinner. Talking about dining. The selection and variety of meals is astonishing, and so is the flavor. The whole dining experience is wonderful - the taste, the drinks & cocktails, the fact that you are actually dining above the waterfall, prompt and kind service offered by every staff member (waiters and managers alike). I would especially like to spotlight Mr.Bishu, who was serving us for the duration of our stay. He was always professional, very kind, attentive to all our needs, and so polite. I would also like to spotlight chef Mr.

Perched 4000 feet above sea level on a peaceful hillside is Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa Coorg. It features a large spa, which offers spectacular views of the rainforest from each treatment room, luxurious accommodation and 4 dining options. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The location is exceptional. I visited Taj Madikeri during rain season and I found this experience unique and amazing. Food was delicious with local varieties. I tried extra programmes like hiking, forest walk and local guides were great and knowledgeable. I learnt a lot and enjoyed.

All rooms will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. Inika has the most hospitable staff who took care of all our needs and then some! The resort offered a much needed reprieve from the city rush and din. We're visiting from the United States and cherish the opportunity to be amongst lush coffee plantations, singing peacocks, and ever elusive elephant herds at Inika. The restaurant was amazing too and served great quality food!

This place has left the best impressions. Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list. The best stay ever. Food served with homely touch. Ambience was unmatched, and given a feel of independent feel. Staff was friendly and coordial.

The wilderness staff member was super informative and helpful. He gave us details on some super nice bike rides and even sent us a google maps itinerary for it!
