The choice of experience available for guests are what you expect however had some unique "estate walk' with a resident ecologist is really makes the experience memorable. While all the staff we encountered were friendly, courteous and helpful, we would like to single out few of them: Lakrani was very courteous, efficient and friendly. She would be easily hired for customer facing work anywhere in the world. Infectious enthusiasm was impressive. Lithin was very knowledgable, friendly and willing to share his knowledge about the property, eco system and his passion readily. Ranjit Kumar Pradhan was extremely friendly, obliging and creative in preparing food of exceptional quality and taste. Wish we stayed more nights to taste his delicacy.

All rooms will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. Inika has the most hospitable staff who took care of all our needs and then some! The resort offered a much needed reprieve from the city rush and din. We're visiting from the United States and cherish the opportunity to be amongst lush coffee plantations, singing peacocks, and ever elusive elephant herds at Inika. The restaurant was amazing too and served great quality food!

Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. High quality rooms and high quality service. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. This place has left the best impressions. Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list. The best stay ever. At the resort each room is equipped with air conditioning, a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom and a balcony with a river view. Location was superb.. Close to the river bank. Food served with homely touch. Ambience was unmatched, and given a feel of independent feel. Staff was friendly and coordial.

The rooms at Machaan Wilderness Lodge Nagarahole have air conditioning and a desk. The staff was incredibly hospitable and kind. Thank you especially Panish & Gowtham, for making our stay memorable! They made you feel most welcome and did everything to improve the stay. For example; we arrived just after the pool closed down, but they re-opened it just for us. They made a bonfire, just for us. We got a lunch on the day we were leaving even though technically that was not included. Very kind and attentive people. The Lodge itself was beautiful, very nice views (see picture), lots of wildlife and birds. Among many birds, we saw the gliding squirrel and the gliding dragon lizard. They staff (of which they had a few wildlife experts!) offered two different walks; one in the evening and one during the day. The food the lodge offered was amazing. The rooms spacious and clean. We also went on a safari in the nature park nearby, where we spotted lots of the local wildlife.
