Our favorite stay in two weeks in Puglia! The warmth of the hosting family, especially the lovely Serena, made our stay here so special. A winning combination of very comfortable and attractive lodging, fantastic breakfasts with fresh homemade food from their farm which changed every day, personal service and an excellent location very close to the center of Otranto but in lovely countryside. Serena helped us with reservations, made me decaf coffee with almond milk, spent a lot of time with me suggesting excursions. We also chatted about life in Puglia. My chef husband did a cooking class at the Agriresort and very much enjoyed it. We had dinner there one night and it was excellent! They are a few minutes drive to one of the most lovely beaches in Puglia, where we walked and swam every morning before breakfast. Don't miss staying at this exceptional, warm, family hotel.

Greatly located for day trips to Lecce, Otranto, Santa Maria di Leuca and Gallipoli! Nice beaches along the coast! The cooking class was very informative, the chef patiently explaining us how to form orecchiette! Linda, the food manager of the masseria guided us well through the herbs and vegetables of the garden! Breakfast was fresh and delicious, dinner in a relaxed atmosphere and Rafaele, il camerie, was very client focused, also explained all the produce of the Masseria and the history of the farn and the House! All in all, a very well received experience and worth returning!

Villa Fenicia is a splendid choice and quite a surprising gem. We arrived during siesta time and thought the villa was closed but once we found the owner we were shown into an amazing place to stay. Full of character and charm. Room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was quirky and small because it is a modern addition to an historic building, but this shouldn't put you off staying here. The grounds of the villa are a delight. a delicious breakfast was eaten outside in the garden (All home-made produce). Our waiter couldn't have been more helpful.

This location is a dream resort in the campagna. Proximity of Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Putignano, Bari by car. Plenty of beaches with lido's close by. Great for base camp and travel from there. The property as a magnificent garden with local fruits and vegetables that you have full access to pick your own and enjoy on site. Giovanni, the grounds keeper was an absolute pleasure upon our departure he packed a full basket of fresh figs for us to eat on the road as we left before breakfast. Luca the owner welcomed us and made us feel at home. I highly recommend Augusta Trulli if you want a real Puglia experience!

It is an impeccable villa, brand new build in an authentic style, kept all the old traditions and love to the detail. You get fresh flowers in your room (melts my heart), brand new bathroom facilities (hard to find in Italy), freedom and love to kids, hundreds of birds, and you get served every morning freshly made breakfast. We didn’t want to leave, and if ever to come back to Puglia, only here.
